Dr. Davidson is a smile expert. He has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and has performed countless smile makeovers throughout his dental career. He has also had extensive training in placing and restoring dental implants and advanced training in root canal therapy.
Dr. Farrah also attended The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry and has also studied orthodontics with leaders in the field. She provides traditional braces to adults and children at The Smile Studio and her treatment focuses on each individual and what would be the best fit for them.
I am excited to be practicing in Lake Orion, and look forward to providing our patients with the best care possible. Dr. Farrah strives to provide a soothing, comfortable environment for all of her patients. My goal is to have all of our patients feel like family.
In her spare time, Dr. Farrah enjoys kickboxing, party-planning and spending time with her family. When shes not doing that she can be found blogging on londonhadalittlelamb.com about motherhood, fashion, lifestyle and decor.

Wow! Just wow! I contacted The Smile Studio and was beyond impressed. Their receptionist was very understanding. I was a patient of Dr. Farrah Davidson and I must say she was such a charm. She was gentle and walked me through everything she was doing. I was able to get my mind off what was happening as she discussed things we both had in common. I will definitely be going back.

I had a rush dental crown done this week ... gotta say the best experience I have ever had at the dentist!! The temporary fit perfect no problems and the permanent feels great!! Really recommend them!!

First off, just like most people on the planet, I absolutely DREAD going to the dentist to begin with. For me It's not even just the drilling or any potential pain or discomfort, I can't even stand having my teeth cleaned at all !! However, I went to The Smile Studio for the very first time ever just a few weeks back ....and I must say..:I have never felt so good and at ease in that chair as I have at other places. Also, they go the extra mile at no additional cost to their patients. What I mean by that is, every other dentist I have ever gone to, has either done a panoramic X-ray that takes about 3 seconds - which I used to love, but later learned what a disservice that provides to the patient because they don't really see anything with those X-rays that may be going on beneath the surface - they simply take a quick photo - may as well be a Polaroid, in my opinion; or at the very most ....they may take about 3 X-rays, charge you an exorbitant amount of money just to hear someone tell you what they "saw" in your X-rays and how much you'll need to fork over for them to "fix" it without ever even seeing, for yourself, what they're even referring to Dr Farrah and Dr Nick, though, have a system I have never ever seen or heard of before. Yes, they do take A full mouth of X-rays. And yes at first it is a little weird seeing them being uploaded onto a huge TV a monitor in front of you. However, when Dr Farrah came into the "room" to do her exam and go over my X-rays, it was AWESOME being able to hear his diagnoses and recommendations for treatment plans while she was also showing me, in very beautiful, clear and vivid images, why I needed that work done and giving me a basic rundown of what the problem is, where it is exactly, and what a "healthy" tooth is supposed to look like. It was so amazingly refreshing to see a medical professional, who wasn't just trying to get my money (as I have experienced, unfortunately, time after time with previous dentists who were really more like used car salesmen) Dr. Nick and Dr. Farrah's approach is one that so perfectly illustrates their modesty, integrity, and passion for their field of expertise. It was made clear instantly, that they actually saw me, as a person, and wanted to help ME, the PERSON because they actually care and not just treat me, the "PATIENT" who it was their job to treat and nothing more. Dr. Farrah went above and beyond my expectations and took the time to walk me through the X-rays, show me photographs of my teeth, talk to me as a person, and truly educate me on everything she was seeing, through her lens as a DDS. All of this and so much more gave me total peace of mind booking the next appointment to begin repairing the damage and entrusting them to handle my dental care from here on out. I could go on and on but I'll stop here. If you haven't already done sO, I HIGHLY recommend you schedule an appointment there and see for yourself, exactly what I'm talking about. I promise you won't be sorry and I look forward to reading your extremely long-winded review as well

Every time I enter the dental office after a long day of work, i am welcomed with amazing smiles from the most heartfelt people ever. They take really good care of all patients and will always make sure you are happy with your end result. I am currently getting my braces done and at my other dentist office prior to smile studio, they would not tell me whats going on at all and i would get anxious sitting there. But at smile studio they comfort you before and after every appointment and make sure you leave happy with whatever work had been done. my family and i have gotten everything at smile studio from crowns, fillings, and braces and i wouldn't want it any other way. strongly recommend Dr. Farrah and Dr. Nick for your dental needs.

Receptionist was very nice but the dentist were terrible. My husband lost feeling in his tongue for 5 months. When I was getting a filling the dentist pulled the drill out and slammed it into my front tooth on the way out. I was terrified. Everyone else I know has had a TERRIBLE experience. Idk how they are still open.

Very nice staff, they did a great job with all our teeth cleanings and where amazing with my kiddos! My oldest had a few cavities that needed filled and Dr Farrah is does a amazing job and is extremely patient with him!

Less-than-stellar experience with this dentistry. I've had repeat problems with a certain area of my mouth and have become pretty adept at troubleshooting and researching. At my last visit, the lady dentist condescendingly dismissed my concerns and suggestions for causes, then insisted it was something completely different. She pushed the idea that $5,000 worth of irrelevant dental work would make my problems go away, then quickly ushered me to the front desk to get them to sign me on for a treatment plan. On top of this, she promised to get in touch with me about a product I had asked for information on, but never did. Having worked in customer service before, I learned early on that if you can't back up a promise you make with a customer, your business will lose that customer's trust forever. Annoyed and angry at the attempted swindling and being dismissed, I went to another dentist for a second opinion. Not only were my suspicions of the cause correct, they also found cavities that this dentistry did not. When I said I felt stinging in my teeth and suspected cavities, the lady dentist insisted she saw nothing on my x-rays before quickly telling me to scoot, making me feel like my being there was a huge inconvenience. The dentist I went to for a second opinion? She spotted two, then took the time to sit down with me and point them out. All of my concerns were taken care of for 10% of what this dentistry tried to take from me and I no longer have pain. The male dentist is fine. He's great at what he does and he's very professional with his clients. His wife, however, I wish I could say the same, but sadly cannot. She drove me away from this establishment.

While visiting Family in Lapeer our 5 year old son had a tooth that had him in excruciating pain. We called multiple different dentists in the area looking for someone to help since we were 8 hours from home. We finally got a hold of The Smile Studio and they brought us right in and we're phenomenal with him even with him being anxious in the moment! For all this the team at The Smile Studio will remain a 5 star in my book! Thank you to all of them!

Smile studio on Lapeer in Lake Orion, best dentists by far. They are thorough, but fast and friendly. We've switched to quite a few before them. We won't be changing again.

This place doesn't know how to communicate with there new patients. I had an appointment and after the initial exam they showed me how much it was going to cost me and then informed me that it had to be paid up front. I have never been asked to pay up front for medical or dental services. If they would have said something about it when the appointment was made I would have scheduled it for a day I get paid to make sure it would be paid. Took time off work and they expect me to schedule a new appointment and take more time off work for something that they could have taken care of right then.

The front staff was very friendly and welcoming! Loved the hygienist who cleaned my teeth and doctor Nick was excellent! I definitely recommend coming here for clean teeth!!

Very welcoming staff at the front desk. Everything is clean. Dr. Nick and Darrian were amazing when I had to get a tooth pulled. They always ease my nerves because the dentist is my least favorite place. I would highly recommend this dentist to everyone young and old.

Such a great staff here, friendly all the way around! Feel beyond comfortable, quality work and awesome openings. They even listened to my safe word (pineapple) lol very outgoing staff, also didn't have me sitting in a chair waiting forever to be seen. Highly recommended, they have good reviews for a reason!

Great dental team that cares about their patient's wellbeing! Literally Super Hero's. Dr.Nick & Dr.Farrah helped my son with his chipped tooth. They took my emergency case right away, and made us feel comfortable and happy. Bonus: his tooth looks fantastic now!

I am truly grateful to have the Davidson's as a part of our dental journey for the past 10+years! My children have and will have Dr. Farrah for their orthodontic needs. I really like her approach to "braces" and so far, it has been a success with my oldest kid. Dr. Nicholas (aka Dr. D) has been extra "patient" with my dental challenges and struggles for over a decade. As much as I hate having to take care of my dental problems, he IS the man to help. I have had Invisalign also with Dr. D and was EXTREMLEY satisfied with the care and the look. :-) They are young, professional, kind, funny, generous, patient, positive, and available. It is nice to know that my family and I have dentists that we not only trust, but to grow old with. We LOVE the Smile Studio!!!! p.s. I almost forgot the staff: Barb & Colbey are very easy-going & wonderful every time we are there. The dental hygienists and assistants are absolutely fantastic. God bless them for cleaning our teeth. Our teeth are happy when we leave.

From the first step you take in the door being greeted by friendly, helpful staff, to the dentists and dental assistants making sure your every need is met, I can honestly say they far exceed my expectations. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed!
