Natives of small towns in West Virginia, we met while attending the West Virginia University School of Dentistry. Prior to dental school, we both practiced as dental hygienists; collectively, we have over 20 years experience in the dental field.
Our mission is to provide personalized comprehensive care in a calm and soothing atmosphere. Dental treatment can be complex and often specific to each individual. We believe patient education is a vital aspect of each visit so informed decisions can be made.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Amanda moved to Raleigh four years ago and now considers this her home. Going into her tenth year in the dental hygiene field, she still loves learning new ways to help patients succeed at improving their oral health.
Amelia was born and raised in Eastern North Carolina. She completed her dental hygiene degree in 2019 at Wayne Community College. Amelia truly loves her work in dentistry and enjoys getting to know every patient individually.
I feel most accomplished when I can make people comfortable that previously had a negative memory of dentistry. It is my goal to educate them on their personal oral care needs and ensure they leave happy and on their way to a healthy smile!

In her aspirations to better connect with the people around her and expand her passions in learning, Sienna started her career in dentistry at NC Dental U to become a Dental Assistant. She is a recent graduate in September 2020 and our newest member to The Smile Shop team.
NC born and raised, Durham is home for Ashley. She started her dental career as a Dental Assistant, graduating from ACC in 2011. Over the last 3 years, Ashley has transitioned to the front desk. In 2019, Ashley joined The Smile Shop as our Treatment/Insurance Coordinator. Outside of the office, you will find Ashley with her husband, their son, and 2 dogs.
From Puerto Rico, Jomary discovered her love for dentistry a little over two years ago. As an aspiring Dental Hygienist, she enjoys teaching others about the importance of great dental health. When not in the office, she enjoys watching anime, going to amusement parks, and relaxing at the beach, which reminds her of her home island.
