Dr. Beshoy Eskandar was raised in Egypt where he attended school of oral and dental medicine at the prestigious Cairo University. Upon graduation, he worked at the Ministry of Health serving the underprivileged communities in Egypt. He loved the experience of practicing dentistry and the knowledge that came with it. To further his skills and fulfill his love for travel, he made the leap to come to the United States to complete the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree ( DDS ) at the world renowned University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) school of dentistry. He practiced in Los Angeles for a few years. He then made the move to Ventura and is enjoying being part of the community. Dr. Eskandar has been known for his gentle and compassionate manner. He specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Eskandar chose general dentistry as he enjoys focusing on lifelong relationships building with his patients. He always had the passion to make patients feel comfortable and confident in their smile. He learned that one way to combine art and science is through dentistry by merging creative art interests with science. A goal to serve others in a unique way to help patients improve their oral health while attaining aesthetically pleasing results. With over 10 years of dental experience, Dr. Eskandar can help you achieve a beautiful and healthy smile that you have always yearned for. He provides the latest advanced technology in dentistry and believes that education is a lifelong process. He is dedicated to continuing multiple education courses and participating through many organizations to further advance his knowledge in dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Eskandar enjoys spending time with his family, watching soccer, playing ping pong, various outdoor activities, traveling, eating authentic foods, and attending church functions.
Dr. Beshoy Eskandar is a member of numerous distinguished professional organizations including the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association, and the Santa Barbara and Ventura County Dental Society.

My dental hygienist did a great job. Dr. Eskander is always very thorough and his office staff makes it very easy to get in and get out quickly. I highly recommend them.

The dental hygienists and dentists are experts and are perfectionists. They take the time needed to do detailed work. They educate you on how to care for your mouth way beyond flossing and brushing. I would not think of going anywhere else for my dental health. They have cared for me for over 20 years.

Had my first experience with Dr. Eskandar and his team at The Smile Shapers in Ventura and it couldn't have gone better. From the friendly and helpful front office to the personable and professional dental work, i was relieved that Dr. Keating has left us in such great hands! If you are a former Dr. Keating patient like me, I strongly recommend giving them a chance!

I recently switched dental offices to come here and I am so happy that I did! The staff is friendly and helpful. I absolutely love my dental hygienist Amira she is very knowledgeable I always learn something new about my oral care and most importantly she gives my teeth an excellent cleaning every-time! I highly recommend going here if you are looking for a great dentist with excellent staff.

Best staff ever! I have been with Smile Shapers forever. I actually look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. From the front staff, to the dental techs and the dental Hygienist everyone makes you feel well cared for. Dr Eskandar is pleasant and easy to talk to. My "go to" hygienist is Amira. She is top notch; exceptionally gentle, quick and friendly.
