I love good coffee and pizza! I have a funny husband and a lovely toddler. We love to travel and collect souvenir plates and cooking books from every city we visit over 100 so far! I have been drawing and painting since I was a child, and I plan to decorate The Smile Institute with my own artwork.
I am originally from Toronto, Canada. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, one of the highest-ranked dental programs in the world. I was awarded the highest prize for academic excellence in preventive dentistry proactive treatment to avoid cavities, gum disease, enamel wear, and more. Also, I received a prize for the best overall achievement in all four years of dental studies.
As part of the team at The Smile Institute, my goal is to give patients a beautiful smile and healthy teeth by using advanced dental technology and techniques. That is why I chose to equip my dental practice with state-of-the-art dental chairs providing patients with massage function and special devices to significantly reduce pain from anesthetic injections.
I also chose to go through a 2-year Master of Science degree program as well as 700 hours of additional post-graduate training, including a fellowship in orthodontics (braces) and implant dentistry. I am a certified Invisalign provider and I am trained in Botox & dermal fillers to provide my patients with the most holistic approach to facial beauty. I continue to advance my knowledge of the latest dental techniques every year by regularly attending conferences and advanced educational seminars.
I am a member of several dental professional organizations, including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the Academy of General Dentistry. I am on the board of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I am also in the process of going through rigorous testing with all three of these major dental organizations to receive accreditation that I possess the skills to provide the most advanced cosmetic, implant and general dental procedures. I hope to apply my expertise to help you achieve excellent dental health!

In my personal experience Dr Ambridge has been the most caring, patient, and understanding dentist I've ever had. I found Dr. Ambridge right after my previous dentist was moving to another state. The smile institute also has one of the best staff too. They are always so welcoming and are always willing to figure things out if there's a problem.

Amazing from the top down, everyone on the team is incredibly kind and down to earth while being extremely professional and knowledgeable. 10-31-2022 I was in to see Dr. Ambridge today for a crown. All the preparation and temporary crown were performed admirably. Dr. Ambridge does a great job of explaining what she is about to do (and why) at each step of the process. She and her assistant made sure that I was comfortable throughout my appointment. Dr Ambridge has proven her exceptional skills, patience and commitment continually to me over the last two years. I have needed some unexpected dental care that I was very disappointed about and quite frankly anxious about, but Dr. Ambridge has each time explained the treatment clearly, calmed my nerves, and performed amazing work. She has replaced one of my old metal fillings, did cosmetic bonding on several teeth and most recently given me a tooth implant after a very old crown gave way at which time I declined having a root canal. On that occasion the Dr stayed late to work me in so that she could relieve my nerve pain from a cracked tooth and start treatment right away. Also, she steered me away from veneers which I had asked for two years ago because they were not the right choice for me- she could have very easily taken my money and went ahead but she didn't. Dr. Ambridge is truly ethical and is the most professional and capable caregiver I have ever had! Not kidding, I refer everyone I know to her because of her quality care. I consider myself lucky to have found her, and trust her explicitly! You have got to see for yourself!

Dr. Ambridge is an amazing dentist and The Smile Institute is an incredible dental office that has been able to help me tremendously! I have had to undergo an intense amount of dental work over the years, and Dr. Ambridge's office has been so helpful and incredible in helping me through my dental journey. The office is welcoming and helps to calm the nerves and anxiety I have about going to the dentist. The exam rooms have televisions to watch TV during any procedures being done, and the staff is so kind and professional! Dr. Ambridge cares about the individual patient and takes the time to explain everything to you; you never feel like you're being rushed or ignored. I have had dental emergencies and the office has always made an effort to be accommodating and helpful to me! Dr. Ambridge takes pride in her work, and doesn't cut concerns when it comes to your dental health! I cannot recommend Dr. Ambridge and The Smile Institute enough!!

Not only do they threaten their customers they are extremely unprofessional. For a business this place is a joke. And before they comment im spam, im not.. LOL. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. And now I'm editing, go ahead and report to the authorities. They won't do anything haha. I'm not spam, this business is insane. I will MAKE SURE to let all my friends and family and every business I go to in the lake pleasant area know to NOT do business with this establishment.

Very rude and dishonest treatment coordinator. Sent me an estimate with no itemization, just a lump sum price that they want you to pay before services are rendered, and they won't even book your appointment without at least 50% down of the total for services. The Dr. charges YOU to warranty her work. Why should I be paying to warranty the DR.s work?? So needless to say, I switched to a new dentist at Vistancia Dental and didn't need to pay any money up front to get an appointment booked. AND prices are cheaper. Dr. Ambridge is a price gauger. And her treatment coordinator is a joke. Stay away from this place. Very shady practice.
