Our founder is Patrick Z. Abuzeni, MD, DDS. He is dual licensed in medicine and dentistry. Dr Abuzeni specializes in cosmetic surgery and as Smile Director, Dr. Abuzeni has been making beautiful smiles for over 20 years. Now, Dr. Abuzeni has developed the techniques to compliment facial beauty using state-of-the-art dental technology.

Patrick Z. Abuzeni, MD, DDS, is a Member, American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery; and Member, American Dental Association. He received his dental degree at the world renowned Karolinska Institute in Stockholm, Sweden. He received his medical degree from the University of MiamiMiller School of Medicine, where he also had extensive surgical training at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr Abuzeni specializes in cosmetic surgery. As Smile Director and Founder of the Smile Factory, Dr. Abuzeni has been making beautiful smiles for over 20 years, and Dr. Abuzeni has now developed the techniques to compliment facial beauty with beautiful smiles.

Dr Abuzenis reputation is known throughout South Florida, where patients recognize his artistic talent and excellent surgical skills. Dr. Abuzeni is well known in other parts of the country and patients seek his care from a number of states. Dr. Abuzeni is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care and has done so in over 8,000 procedures over the past 20 years.

Dr. Abuzeni attended dental school at the prestigious and renowned Karolinska Institute in Sweden. During his dental education, he was selected as a junior proctor at the Karolinska school of medicine, department of physiology. After completing his dental education, he completed a residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and where he later attended medical school. He later completed the required general surgery training before obtaining a fellowship in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Abuzeni is certified by the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery and is licensed to practice medicine and dentistry in Florida. He maintains active membership in the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, and the American Dental Association.

Throughout his career, Dr. Abuzeni has excelled in his endeavors, co-authoring scientific publications, and participating in professional presentations. During his career, Dr Abuzeni has pioneered the use of Platelet Rich Plasma to enrich and stabilize fat grafting. Among the many accomplishments, he has developed techniques to enhance the esthetics for women performing a tummy tuck that restores a feminine shape and sculpted abs. Dr Abuzeni has now brought to Jacksonville affordable smiles with the U-Smile-Veneers.

Dr Abuzeni has several patent applications for unique inventions in technology and has designed and written several software programs. Dr Abuzeni has maintained his cosmetic surgery practice in South Florida since 1999 and recently opened The Smile Factory in Jacksonville.
