Dr. Duy Do obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Harvard University in 2012. After dental school, he finished one year of General Practice Residency and one year of Advance Education in General Dentistry where he received formal training in implant placement and restoration, periodontal surgery, non-surgical endodontics, esthetic dentistry using CAD/ CAM technology. After residencies, Dr. Do worked as general dentist for 3 years in Iowa before discovering his true passion for the field of endodontics. Dr. Do subsequently completed his endodontic training at Columbia University in 2020. In his spare time, Dr. Do enjoys running, drawing, visiting the newest restaurants, and travelling to Europe with his friends and family.

Dr. Basim El-Toukhyattended New Jersey Institute of Technology where he obtained a Bachelors in Biomedical Engineering and went on to receive his Masters in Biomedical Sciences from UMDNJ. While obtaining his masters, he worked in management at Six Flags Great Adventure as their Construction & Maintenance Supervisor, overseeing the construction and rehab of the rides

Dr. Basim completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of New England in Portland, Maine where he received an outstanding clinical education. He was involved in various leadership positions such as VP of the American Association of Dental Research and a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. He then completed an externship at various dental offices in the Champlain Valley of Vermont addressing the need for access and quality of care. Dr. Basim is excited to provide quality dental care in Central and South Jersey ranging from Invisalign to all aspects of general dentistry. Every patient should feel comfortable and relaxed at the dentist and Dr. Basim strives to go above and beyond for his patients in order for them to feel like family. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Jersey Dental Association, and American Dental Education Association. When not in the office, you can find Dr. Basim planning his next getaway vacation, visiting amusement parks, hiking, and playing sports. He recently completed a road trip across the entire USA, visiting several National Parks. Dr. Basim has visited 10 National Parks and plans to visit all 61

Dr. Angela Gatto-Rekant is originally from the NYC area. There she graduated from NYU College of Dentistry in 1994. Dr. Gatto-Rekant was accepted into NYUs Fixed Prosthetic Honors and Clinical Honors programs. After graduation Dr. Gatto-Rekant completed a general practice Residency at the Manhattan VA hospital, where she trained in all aspects of dentistry with a focus on Crown and Bridge and Dentures also working with medically compromised patients. She was in private practice in Manhattan, NY and Clifton, NJ before joining The Smile Center of Mount Holly in 2004.Dr. Gatto-Rekant enjoys seeing patients of all age group and provides comprehensive dental work. She is also trained in providing one visit high strength ceramic crowns designed and fabricated in our office. She has extensive experience in Fixed Bridges, Implants and Dentures. In her free time, Dr. Gatto-Rekant enjoys traveling, skiing, golf and scuba diving.

Dr. Charles Hudak, D.M.D. holds two principles in highest regard genuine compassion for patients and providing the highest quality of care. Along with these principles, he believes in keeping current with the most modern dental technology available. Since becoming a dentist 19 years ago he has achieved an extensive following of loyal and trusting patients. His patients love his motto which is simply no pain. Dr. Hudak has an extensive dental education and background with many achievements. He started his career in 1998 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. His achievements include: The First Place Clinical Achievement Award, Induction into The Leon S. Brenner Award for Proficiency in Operative Dentistry, The Dr. Benjamin D. Homer Award, The Stomatognathic Honor Society, The Oral Surgery Honor Society, The Periodontology Honor Society, and the Esthetic Dentistry Honor Society. In addition, Dr. Hudak completed a post-doctoral degree in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Temple University. In his personal life, Dr. Hudak enjoys a variety of activities, including spending time with his wife and eight children at their home in Ocean City, attending church and participating in a variety of sports activities.

Dr. Iyengar grew up in the Central Jersey area, and found her passion for improving dental & oral health early on. While working and shadowing at her local dental office, she received her Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering from The College of New Jersey. While there, she was able to complete research projects in Periodontal Dentistry, medicine, and biology. She also served on the Executive Board of the Pre-Dental Society and Student Government. Upon graduating, Dr. I attended dental school at New York University and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During her education, she was involved in numerous local dental outreach programs. After graduating, she worked in both private and corporate dental settings in NJ, and is now very excited to be joining The Smile Center of Mansfield! She hopes to continue to make patients experiences comfortable and friendly. She is also currently part of the American Dental Association and New Jersey Dental Association. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.

Dr. Nicole Rakhnayev is originally from Boston, Massachusetts. She obtained her Bachelors in Biology from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Prior to obtaining her doctorate, she worked as a dental assistant and office manager. She was able to learn different aspects of dentistry which helped her gain a solid foundation, giving her an edge in dental school. Dr. Nicole obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. During her time there, she was heavily involved in community service where she coordinated multiple oral health outreach programs and led one of the largest donation drives in the Greater Portland region. She then completed an externship at a private practice and a nonprofit clinic in the Champlain Valley of Vermont improving the access to care.She is Invisalign certified and continues to take courses to expand her knowledge in order to provide comprehensive care specific to each patient. Dr. Nicole is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry. Outside the office, Dr. Nicoles biggest passion is traveling. She has already visited every state on the east and west coast and recently completed a road trip across the country. Her goal is to visit every National Park and State in the USA; she has already visited 11 parks and 26 states!

Dr. Richards attained her undergraduate degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. After graduating Temple with a degree in Biology and a minor in marketing, Dr. Richards entered The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey where she attained her D.M.D as well as her General Practice Residency training in 2010-2011. During her tenure she held multiple leadership roles in various student organizations. She was the Vice President of the Student National Dental Association as well as the lead student advisor of the Dental Gateway program.Dr. Richards has a passion for all things creative both within and outside of dentistry. She is a DIYer who has a knack for interior design, baking and cake decorating. Dr. Richards has secretively has a major sweet tooth ...or 32. Although she has an affinity for all things sweet, she stresses the importance of excellent oral hygiene by reminding us that it's not what you eat but what you do after that counts.

Nicola joined The Smile Center in 2004, she drew on her experience in finance and customer service from the banking industry to become highly valued by our patients and staff. Nicolas experience, dedication, and leadership qualities were recognized as Dr. Rockwell asked her to serve as Practice Manager of all five Smile Center locations in 2013. Her expertise in handling the front desk operations, treatment plan coordination, and insurance issues are a huge asset to leading our practice management operations . Nicola's dedication to the practice has had a positive impact and is greatly appreciated by our patients and The Smile Center staff. Over the years, Nicola has established a great relationship and rapport with the patients and employees. Along with supervising day-to-day operations, Nicola can be found welcoming patients as they come to the front desk. When Nicola is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her four girls and granddaughter.
