Dr. Sadeghi (known to his patients as Dr. Mehdi) is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Memphis. He is originally from Iran and after spending few years in Europe and Boston, made his home in Memphis. He attends many continuing education classes to stay current on the newest dental technology. He is member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Memphis Dental Society, Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Iranian-American Medical Association and The Midsouth Interdisciplinary Study Club. Dr. Mehdi is active in his community, he serves on the board of directors of two nonprofit organization and volunteers on the local dental clinic. On his day off, Dr. Mehdi teaches in dental school as an Assistant Professor in the department of pediatric dentistry. He is married and has two daughters.
Michelle has a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Tennessee. She has been with Dr. Mehdi for over 15 years and is the Preventive Care Coordinator. Her friendly and caring personality has won her the loyalty and gratitude of all our patients. She is married to her high school sweetheart and enjoys weekends with her 3 boys at the baseball fields and dressing up her little girl.

Kathy Davidson, CDA, RDAKathy is not only our registered and certified dental assistant, but also serves as our Office Manager. She has been in dentistry for over 38 years and has been with Dr. Mehdi for 20 years. Kathy is known for her bright smile and kind, gentle demeanor. Outside of the office Kathy enjoys camping and the outdoors with her husband. She is the mother of two grown sons. You will find her office and work space decorated with Hogs, her favorite SEC team being Arkansas!
Michelle Leatherwood, RDH, B.S.Michelle is our dental Hygienist and has a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from the University of Tennessee. She has been with Dr. Mehdi for 20 years and is our Preventative Care Coordinator. Her friendly, outgoing, and caring personality has won her the love, gratitude and loyalty of our patients. We also call her the counselor of our office. She is married to her high school sweetheart, John. Michelle is the mom of three fine young men involved in baseball, which is why she spends most of her weekends at baseball fields, as well as a daughter with whom she loves to dress up and have Mommy and Miley days.
Elizabeth L. Ammons, RDAElizabeth has been in dentistry for three years. She has been with Dr. Sadeghi and the team for 2 years as a registered dental assistant, growing and laughing. She likes to spend time with her husband and two younger siblings when she is not at the office.
Jackie ZimmermanJackie has been with our office a little over a year and is the smiling, energetic face you see upon entering. She takes care of our patient scheduling, insurance benefits, and patient billing. In her spare time she loves spending quality time traveling and camping with her husband Ken, as well as in their community group, Ptah, as part of Carnival Memphis. Jackie is the mom and stepmom to 5 adult children and has one granddaughter, who is her sunshine. She is also very active in her church at Bellevue. On top of all of that, Jackie is also an avid, lifelong BAMA football fan and those that know Dr. Mehdi know what that means!

I have real bad anxiety when seeing dentists. Roughly about 8 to 10 years ago my husband recommended his dentist. I am really happy I chose to visit Dr. Mehdi. He has worked with me to overcome my fears. His staff is super friendly and always a joy to see. I hope he doesnt retire soon. I might be up a creek.......LOVE YOU GUYS AT SMILE CENTER!!!!

I've been very pleased with my service. I've received cleanings, fillings and a root canal. Very friendly staff. Dr. Mehdi is very friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle with his care. Definitely would recommend !!

I have so much love for my dentist Mehdi Sadeghi and his sweet staff (especially Kathy)! They have always been so kind, professional, and taken care of any issues quickly! I love to smile now more than ever and get so many comments on my pearly white teeth. If you are looking, search no further!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Medhi and his incredible staff at The Smile Center. My family and I have been his clients for years and now several of our friends and their families have chosen his dentistry too. We all love him, Kathy and Michelle!! They are amazing with my children - so loving, patient and always a phone call away when I have any concerns. All of my children started seeing him as toddlers and look forward to each and every appointment. Dr. Medhi has put beautiful crowns on my oldest son and put all anxieties about dental issues for me at ease. Seriously, THE BEST!!!! If you need a dentist - you're in luck!! We drive from Hernando, MS to Germantown, TN - a 45 minute drive and always will for this AMAZING staff.

Really really bad and they are crooks that misrepresent the services and then charge through the nose and did not even perform the service that I had come for, in the first place!!! (Details: I later got the cleaning done at another dentist without ANY issues, no blood while regular tooth cleaning was done by an EXPERT technician. X-rays were taken and NO CHARGES WERE ASKED!!!) Highly RECOMMENDED Dr. William Jasper's clinic on Winchester!) Even Walmart refunds an unhappy customer BUT you not only NOT refund BUT charge an unhappy customer! That's your standard!

Love the staff and have always had great experiences here. They run on time (very few times have I waited even a couple of minutes). They are friendly and make you feel very relaxed/at home. Michelle is the best hygienist.

This is THE BEST dentist in Memphis. Hands down. Their team took care of me and my dental anxiety for years before I moved to Nashville. This was the first dental office I ever felt comfortable with and I made the drive a few times from Nashville just to keep seeing them! My only complaint is that I moved away. Truly exceptional service and the best dentist I've encountered in my lifetime.

If you are a person afraid of dental work read this review. The thought of dental work makes me cringe. This office was great ! No one was fake, as in personality... FROM FRONT DESK TO DENTAL CHAIR ! I work in restaurant service industry. I see and talk to all kinds of people. The staff here are happy to listen and answer any questions. I didn't feel rushed or embarrassed of my dental problems. The x ray usually hurts , It was just a little discomfort for a few minutes. Dr.Mehdi has a fun personality. And the assistant was so sweet and caring. And this was my first visit. I will be returning for dental services.

This is THE BEST dentist in Memphis. Hands down. Their team took care of me and my dental anxiety for years before I moved to Nashville. I would rate them negative stars if I could. The Zoom whitening treatment was very painful for two days and felt like I was punched in the mouth. Also, the billing department is just awful. If you have dental insurance you might as well just pay cash, because it will be the same price after they bill your insurance almost $100 for a cleaning. Very disappointing. I won't go back or recommend them to anyone.
