Dr. Shah was born in Nigeria but grew up in Ahmedabad, India. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology at Gujarat University in India (1984). Dr. Shah continued her studies at the University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, Connecticut, earning a Master's Degree in Biology (1991). Dr. Shah completed her post-graduate work at Indiana University in 1998, earning a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. She continues to commit herself to understanding and adapting to the current developments of the industry.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American Dental Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Association of Women Dentists.

This lady is so unprofessional. She is a cash cow. Tried to charge me 800 for a deep cleaning. Saying my insurance wouldn't cover it. She literally took floss and stuck it so far down in my gum line and of course it was a little pink from her making my gum bleed. Then she said I am starting to get gum disease. Tbh when I got out of the military I hadn't been to the dentist for 6 yrs before I was able to start going back. I still didn't have a cavity, no severe tartar build up. Nothing that needed fixing. I take very good at home care of my teeth. Went to another dentist , they never even mentioned gum disease, still no cavities, and I don't need a deep cleaning. She started scraping my gum line with a drill with no gas or numbing, I never in my life experienced anything as painful. She did the same with my 10 year old daughter. She will try and not make you comfortable but do work on your mouth and say she is trying to help. She is a scammer. If she doesn't like your teeth she is loud and the entire office can hear your problems. It's embarrassing. Especially when it isn't even accurate info. She even started to try to fill my daughters cavities with no numbing or gas. She is 10 years old. She also is traumatized about the dentist period now

Dr. Shah and her staff are all incredibly professional and kind. Dr. Shah always makes sure that I am comfortable during dental procedures and continues to make sure I'm in no pain throughout. She is incredibly warm and personable in addition to being a knowledgeable dentist. I highly recommend both Dr. Shah and The Smile Center.

Very unprofessional and very impolite lady.... she loud and very extra if your teeth aren't up to her standard she has no sense of privacy everyone can hear your business when she talks to you and if your embarrassed about anything with your teeth she will make sure the entire office hears her when she talks to you

First time at this establishment and I am very disappointed ,The girl at front office was super professional and helped me to the MAX but the doctor and her assistants ,Such a disappointment .Walked in and they did NOTHING on me at all .I took off work and they did nada .I called before just to make sure they have my insurance info. and the girl at front office made sure she called them and had all my info but once I got to the doctor she is quite rude .and am so sure despite them doing nothing I will still be charged .BE AWARE

My children and myself have trusting Dr. Shah with our teeth for the last 18yrs. You would think that you would be referred to by name or treated with appreciation when you come! I finally realized my 18yrs was a waste of my time, all Dr. Shah is worried about is the MONEY! She doesnt care that your mouth is aching, toothe is broken, or that your insurance is all you have to pay with. Its C.O.D or no service with her if your insurance wont cover it. Not professional just so serious and about business only. I will be taking my business and family elsewhere. So surprised Covid-19 and her Greed hasnt shut her down. I guess when you go.from a hungry hippo to a slim jim fast you get the BIG HEAD!

Dr. Shah has made me feel like a new woman! I had to have four crowns put in on my four front teeth and Dr. Shah made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She's real and honest from start to finish. She has gone beyond my expectations as a doctor and I'm grateful for her sincerity. The shape and color match are perfect for my crowns. I've always had horrible experiences at the dentist before but with Dr. Shah, I feel at ease. Her staff are very helpful and sweet too! Thank you Dr. Shah!!

My elderly father needed dentures and it was challenging due to his age. Dr. Joyti accommodated us and dentures she made were a great fit, needed no adjustments. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

The smile center inserted a Bluetooth pscological torture device in my mouth do not go look it up was used in Columbine shooting I been tortured for about 2 years w this device I had no knowledge this was being put in now my life has went too hell I'm in a state of mental anguish help

They excepted my little girl in as a new patient at 5:54pm. My little girl sat in that chair, got two teeth pulled and two fillings in less than 15 MINUTES! My little girl didn't not shed a tear! This was by far the BEST dental experience we've had ever! My entire family....even my mother...will be going to this dental office! Thank you all and God bless you.

I had an emergency , my dentures broke in half, they got me in that day. The staff was very friendly and caring. Dr Shah was very knowledgeable and I knew she cared. Long story short, I was a very unusual case. She made sure my dentures fit me well and looked natural. I am extremely happy with the fit, bite look of my new dentures. Thank you very much Dr. Shaw!

Ms Pam always get my teeth SHINEY N BRIGHT! BEEN going to Dr Shah since 2009! Wouldn't go anywhere else!! She ROCKS!
