Board-certified orthodontist Karen Guinn, DDS, has been providing orthodontic care and changing lives one smile at a time for over thirty years. At The Smile Agency Orthodontics & Smile Design, with locations in West Covina and Pasadena, California, Dr. Guinn recognizes that each patient has specific needs, and strives to provide the best orthodontic care for every one of her patients. Residents of Pasadena have come to know her as the Green Street Dentist since her flagship dental office is right on the iconic Pasadena road, Green Street, Dr. Guinns goal is to give patients a braces lift without a facelift, and to help you live life smiling. She also provides care for all issues relating to orthodontics, such as TMJ therapy, snoring therapy, non-surgical and extraction-free orthodontics. She knows a beautiful smile is always in style, so the patient can feel comfortable knowing Dr. Guinn treats her patients like family.
Dr. Guinn is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. She also is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the National Dental Association, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the San Gabriel Dental Society.
In her free time, Dr. Guinn enjoys bicycle riding , arranging orchids, and photography. She loves to travel with her three children, and loves to take photos of all her sights. She has traveled all over the world, for both business and pleasure 'and she is not done yet!'. She believes in being a part of her community and giving back. In fact, she is the founder of Test Success, Inc., a Non-profit test-taking strategies program. Dr. Guinn is also a member of the Pasadena City College Foundation and Jack and Jill of America.

The staff were super nice and patient with me and all my questions, which I really appreciated. I was just a little confused at the way my care options were organized. I was a little confused on what step was coming next and what was going to be done. Things were feeling like they were moving fast. That's my personal experience with my own understanding. After I spoke with Sylvia from billing, everything on what they were planning to do made sense. All in all, I've been here since I was a teenager to get my braces back in early 2000s and I loved it then and now. Good orthodontic dentisty and Dr. Guinn is an amazing dentist.

As for the Orthodontic department the " technicians" are amazing and I fully trust them with my braces. I really admire Julio work!!!

I have been a Smile Agency patient for over 10 years. I trust Dr. Guinn with all my oral cosmetic needs. The office just received an amazing renovation and is sparking clean and vibrant. The staff is attentive and friendly. I was helped by Jocelyn and Allie who did a wonderful job prepping me for my laser gum removal. The entire process from beginning to end was easy and pain free. Dr. Guinn was so pleasant and professional, as always. I recommend the Smile Agency to all of my friends and family and anyone in the San Gabriel Valley.

This place is terrible. It took me a month to get an appointment and when I came in they didn't have me in their system and they don't have and endodontist wich is the only reason I came here. Complete waste of a month with a broken tooth
