Dr. Bruce M. Shaw is a graduate of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. He received his D.D.S. degree from N.Y.U. College of Dentistry in New York City. He subsequently completed a dental general practice residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL.
Dr. Shaw has practiced dentistry in Miami Beach since 1976. A recognized expert in esthetic and reconstructive dentistry, Dr. Shaw has presented continuing education lectures for his professional colleagues to inform them about the latest materials and techniques in dentistry.
A leader in his profession, Dr. Shaw is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the East coast district Dental Society, the Miami Beach Dental Society. He is also a member of the Triple Win Study Club, a professional organization dedicated to continuing education on leading edge topics such as comprehensive diagnosis and treatment.
Aftergraduating with honors fromthe University of Florida, Dr. Shaw attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA where she obtained her D.M.D., graduating in the top percentile. Following graduation, she completed a General Practice Residency at Coler-Goldwater Speciality Care Hospital in New York City. During residency, Dr. Shaw became proficient in the placement and restoration of implants as well as full mouth rehabilitations.
Dr. Shaw has taken her cosmetic dentistry training to include not only porcelain crowns, veneers and tooth colored fillings, but also Botox and Facial fillers. Following her residency program in New York City, she went on to take advanced training in facial enhancements where she mastered advanced techniques in the field.Considered an expert in the 'Art and Science' of Botox, sheis passionate aboutcreating and scultping beautiful faces to enhance dentalesthetics.Dr. Shaw isaNational Speaker and Traineron the cosmetic usesof Botox and Facial Fillers in Dentistry.
Dr. Shaw blends her cosmetic and reconstructive dental training with her passion for Botox and Injectables, offering patients a new concept of 'Total Facial Esthetics.' The facial enhancements Dr. Shaw currently offers our patients include Botox, Xeomin, Dysport, Belotero, Radiesse, Juvederm, Restylane and Perlane.
Dr. Shaw has a life long committement to serving others. This translates directly through her involvement in community outreach programs and dental mission trips. Her most recent mission trip was to Quito, Ecuador where she and her team provided care to other 350 patients over the course of three days.
Dr. Tijerino was born in Managua, Nicaragua in 1970. His father, a pediatric surgeon and his mother a journalist were forced to flee due to civil war and political persecution. When he was 11 years old the family relocated to Northen Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. where he grew up. In 1991, after high school his family relocated to south Florida. Once in Florida he finished his undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Florida; followed by a residency in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. T as his team members and patients like to call him, enjoys travel, cooking, running, and golfing. He lives with his life partner Dr. Juliana Navarro who is a dentist for the Veterans Administration hospital.
Dr. Tijerino graduated with honors in the top 10% of his dental class. He has been practicing in private practice for 20 years. He is extremely meticulous and driven to continue learning the best and latest technology, techniques, and materials. He has over 1,000 high level continuing education credits. His patients are always complementing his light touch and painless injections.

Dr Molina did a wonderful job with both: my expression lines using BOTOX Injections and dental fillings. She has a very steady yet gentle hand that allows you to feel comfortable during the process. She's also a very good listener and asks a ton of questions about what you are seeking to attain as a final result rather than simply suggesting what she thinks works best. Dr Molina succeeded at her job and professionalism beyond all expectations and I recommend her practice to anyone seeking out the same experience as I did.

I made an appointment there, because I need my wisdom tooth removed. I went there just to be told that I need to get my wisdom tooth removed and that they do not do that there and I have to get referred somewhere else. I was charged $126 for that. I already knew that I need my tooth extracted hence why I made an appointment there. I'm not really sure why I was charged $126 for something that I already knew and went there for. I would not have made an appointment with them if I was told on the phone that they do not extract wisdom teeth there. So, if your problem is wisdom teeth related, go somewhere else right away. Otherwise, the workers were very kind.

The best dental clinic I have been to in Miami. Dr Camila Diaz did two reconstructions to my frontal teeth, the result was just PERFECT. She is the sweetest doctor I have ever met, she explained each step of the procedure and treats you gently at all times. I consider her my favorite and only doctor from now and on. Totally recommended. The clinic staff is very friendly and communicative as well. They send you appointments reminders and the waiting time is no longer than 1 min for each of my visits.

Dr Shaw and his team have consistently over the past 3 years provided excellent service. They are proactively identifying potential problems and always taking a keen interest in making sure that the best dental care is being provided.

Everybody there was professional, courteous and worked as one team. The overall dental treatment which included a cleaning and exam was one of the best I ever had. Very high tech and the explanations of everything were superb. I highly recommend The SHAW Center

I have never underestimated the importance that one's dental health has on one's overall health and well- being. That is the reason I feel so fortunate to have been a patient of Dr. Bruce Shaw for more than 15 years. He is without a doubt the most knowledgeable and honest dentist that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in my life. I enjoy having the peace of mind that my dental health is being monitored by some one as professional as Dr. Shaw. Thus, I don't mind paying whatever the extra cost may be for his services as a result of him being an "out of network" dentist in the dental insurance plan that I have. Also, it is the reason why I continue to see him even though about 3 years ago, I had to move about an hour away from his Miami Beach practice. Dr. Shaw's office staff have always been very friendly and courteous. Just as I feel that I am fortunate to have Dr. Shaw as my dentist, I am very grateful that Michelle has been my dental hygienist. Michelle always greets one with a nice smile and has a pleasant disposition. She is an awesome dental hygienist who is very knowledgeable, gentle and thorough in performing her job. I feel that Michelle deserves a great deal of credit for the positive impact the two dental cleanings she performs each year have had on my overall good dental health. As one gets ready to start a new year, do yourself a big favor and make a resolution to have good dental health. Spoke on the phone to a woman named Tiara who hung up on me first on accident and then when I called back she told me that she would get back with me about discussing the next steps for setting up a new patient appointment, but she never did. Seems like the front office staff is unorganized.

Amazing care at this wonderful establishment. I've had several things done and have been extremely happy with the results. Dr. Shaw is an excellent dentist. In this time of Covid, I was impressed by the precautions taken to prevent coronavirus infection. All surfaces cleaned, air filtration, social distancing, etc. made me feel very comfortable. As a physician, I can tell you that Dr. Shaw has implemented one of the best programs for protecting his patients, that I have ever seen. Thank you for your diligence in diminishing risk of transmission.

I have been patient at Shaw Ctr. for almost 20 years. Just visited Shaw Center yesterday for dental care and it was a great experience. First, Shaw Center sends you a text to make sure that you can come in safely. Second, they took my temperature when I arrived. Third, they had very few staff in office. Fourth, they had Hepa filters in the all exam rooms and main areas to keep clean air flow. This all made me feel comfortable and safe visiting Dr. Shaw and getting an amazing cleaning by Kat. Excellent dental care.

I am a patient of Dr. Shaw and during the COVID I needed some dental work. I want everyone to know who is a patient I have never been so impressed for such professional preparation to make the office as sanitary as it is. I felt as safe as if I were in my own home. I highly recommend if you should need any dental work, do not hesitate to do so. You will thank his incredible staff for making you feel as safe as they do
