Dr. Lawrence Schiff has been practicing cosmetic, reconstructive, and general dentistry since 1980. After spending six years on the faculty of the University of Pennsylvania Dental School, he entered full-time private practice with the goal of assembling Philadelphias finest team of specialists to provide the best dental care possible.
Having been awarded the prestigious designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry in 1998, Dr. Schiff is also an active member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Dental Association, the Montgomery-Bucks Dental Society and the Philadelphia County Dental Society.
Dr. Jill Moniz grew up in Lancaster, PA and graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Biology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, the worlds first dental college! Following dental school, Dr. Moniz completed a general practice residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital, gaining additional experience in comprehensive treatment planning on medically compromised patients. Dr. Moniz worked in private practice in Lancaster county and Philadelphia prior to joining The Schiff Dental Group in 2013.
Dr. Moniz is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, and Montgomery Bucks Dental Society. She enjoys taking continuing education courses to stay up to date on the latest advances in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, as well as Invisalign.
Dr. Moniz lives in Ardmore with her husband, David, and their labradoodle and rescue doodle, Dexter and Morgan. In her spare time she enjoys visiting with friends and family, running, skiing, Peloton, and needlepoint.
Dr. Richard Titlebaum was born and raised in Pittsburgh. He earned a B.A. in Economics from Haverford College and received his D.M.D. from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Titlebaum then served as an Endodontic Resident in the I.B. Bender Division of Endodontics at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He received a certificate of Endodontics and returned a year later as Clinical Attending Staff at Einstein, where he continues to teach to this day.
Dr. Titlebaum has guided and participated in numerous research projects at both Harvard and Einstein. Some of the projects have looked at radiograph angulation, apical extrusion during root canal treatment, the effectiveness of MTAD, and Photodynamic Therapy (using lights and dyes to enhance disinfection)
Dr. Jill Zurek, Dr. Jill to her patients, is originally from upstate New York. She received a B.S. in Biology from Siena College in Loudonville, New York. Dr. Zurek received her D.D.S. degree from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. She served as Chief Resident at the Women and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo and received a certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. While in residency, she taught Pediatric dentistry to dental students and continues to participate in ongoing research in Pediatric conscious sedation with the anesthesia department of Women and Childrens Hospital of Buffalo. She is a diplomate of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, receiving her Board Certification in Pediatric Dentistry in 2008.

I cannot say enough good things about this practice, particularly Dr. Jill. My 2.5 year old was crying in the office terrified of his dentist appointment and Dr. Jill managed to not only calm him down, but get him talking and relaxed enough to want to open his mouth. Her entire visit was like a play session where she strategically got her exam done and my son just thought he was playing! I can tell that she checked his mouth thoroughly and "checked for dinosaurs" so she could brush. The front desk is lovely and it's always easy scheduling his appointments. We love this group!

First time at this office: The women at the front desk were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about our insurance. The ladies that helped my 6 year old try to take an x-ray had great patience and got creative. Dr. Zurek also was wonderful with my child and we actually had a pleasant dental appointment! Would recommend this office and Dr. Zurek for anyone with a little one!

I've been seeing Karen, a hygienist, for several years now, during my 6 month check ups. She is extremely thorough, patient, incredibly kind and most importantly makes the cleaning experience as painless and pleasant as possible. She takes copious notes, and she remembered that she found a popcorn kernel stuck in my gums at the last visit (embarrassing, I know). She always remembers to ask how my children are doing and she's great at sharing the latest dental trends so I'm always working with up to date information. She's a gem and she's a huge part of why I go to the Schiff Dental Group. Dr. Schiff is also excellent, but I wanted to give a specific shout out to Karen this time!

For someone who has a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist, the dental hygienist (Kristen), couldn't have been any nicer. She made the experience very pleasant. And, Dr. Moniz, was also lovely and considerate. Great experience at Schiff Dental Group.

Dr. Jill exceeded my already high expectations based her fantastic reputation! She was beyond thorough with my children and had an amazingly perfect demeanor with them! She was made to be a pediatric dentist! She took her time explaining everything to me while showing me exactly what she was talking about. It's rarity to find a doc who will take the time, without feeling rushed, and actually listen to the patient/parent. Wish we switched to her sooner!

Everyone from the office staff, dental assistants, dental hygienists, all specialties of dentists etc offers top notch dental care and a very good chairside manner, important for sometime nervous patients like me. Each procedure is thoroughly explained in lay terms. I get compliments on my teeth and will continue to refer patients to this excellent practice.

Absolutely love this office. The staff is kind, courteous and accommodating. I went to Dr. Moniz for my Invisalign. She was completely thorough, transparent & genuinely cared about every part of the process. She explains every little detail that you want to know, easing any concerns about the process.
