After high school, Dr. Mejia was awarded as a National Hispanic Merit Scholar and subsequently earned a full tuition scholarship to The University of Texas at Dallas where she received her Undergraduate Degrees. She graduated in 2011 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Biology. She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry. During her time at Baylor, Dr. Mejia served as Co-President to the Hispanic Student Dental Association.
Dr. Mejia was born in Cali, Colombia and moved to the United States when she was 5 years old. Ironically, she learned to speak English by offering candy to fellow classmates! Ever since she moved to the states, she has been a tried and true Texan! She went to High School at Plano Senior High where she enjoyed playing the violin with the schools Orchestra and graduated in 2007.
Dr. Mejia wanted a career in the healthcare field where she could help guide her patients towards better health (health is wealth after all!) and one in which she could have an ongoing relationship with her patients, sharing major milestones with them and their families (weddings, babies, new jobs, etc!). She also wanted to do something that could be artistic. She found all of this in the dental field and enjoys helping to make beautiful, healthy teeth!
Dr. Mejia is certified in oral and laughing gas sedation as well as Invisalign. She is comfortable working with patients of all ages and loves kiddos! Dr. Mejia invites you to get involved in your oral health and feel empowered to ask questions. She is eager to provide you with quality dentistry in a comfortable environment.
She has been in dentistry for 30 years. Terri grew up on a ranch in west Texas. She graduated ASU 1994 and started her dental career right away. Her favorite cases to work on are cosmetic cases. She loves to see her patients light up when they see their new smile! She loves working with Dr. Mejia and is blessed to be part of a team that is truly making a difference, not just in patients lives but in our Plano community.
Keni has been in the dental field since 1995. She started as a general assistant in the United States Air Force then moved on to become an endodontic assistant and later an oral surgery assistant. She recived her associate of applied science degree from Tarrant County College in 2005.
Meet our newest team member Aubrey. Aubrey has been in the dental industry since 2013. She started out as a registered dental assistant where she later moved on to become a front office assistant. Aubrey will be the first face you see when you enter our office and can help you with all of your treatment, insurance and scheduling questions. When she is not at work she enjoys exercising, traveling, interior decorating and spending time with her son Daelynn.
