She attended the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Biology, and then continued there to receive her Doctorate of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. Although she found dental school very demanding, she received the Deans Scholarship all 4 years and graduated cum laude. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Dentistry during her orthodontics residency at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. She is a member of the AAO (American Association of Orthodontists) and is an ABO board certified orthodontist.
