Growing up, Dr. Aaron Lundner was the worlds least likely person to become an orthodontist. He had braces for 5 years and preferred to be almost anywhere else. However, he came to realize that his negative experience gave him a unique motivation to make sure others did not endure what he did.
Today, Dr. Lundner is passionate about creating amazing, healthy smiles, and has the education, experience, and drive to accomplish that for you. He has over 15 years of experience crafting smiles with braces and Invisalign, and is always seeking new and improved ways to do even better.
Dr. Lundner has stayed true to his principles and has resisted the modern healthcare trends of becoming big, impersonal, and selling treatment. Merging the latest in technology with the personal care of the past, Dr. Lundner creates amazing smiles uniquely for each person, one at a time. Assembly lines are for cars, not human smiles.
We are proud to provide state of the art technology in our modern office. We utilize digital x-rays to reduce radiation exposure, and have intraoral 3D camerasto reduce the need for goopy molds. Our sterilization units and procedures are tested regularly to ensure your safety.
The Orthodontic Spot is located in the Shops at Gristmill Village, at the new center of Concord Township. Just off of Interstate 90 and Route 44, our location allows us to provide orthodontic treatment for the residents of Concord, Chardon, Mentor, Painesville, Kirtland, Willoughby, Leroy, Madison, and beyond.

Its more important than ever to brush and floss regularly when you have braces, so the teeth and gums are healthy during orthodontic treatment. Patients who do not keep their teeth clean may require more frequent visits to the dentist for a professional cleaning. Adults who have a history of gum disease should also see a periodontist during orthodontic treatment. Watch the video below on the proper care of braces during orthodontic treatment.
What can you eat? Lets talk about what you shouldnt eat! For the first day or so, stick to soft foods. Avoid tough meats, hard breads, and raw vegetables. Before long, youll be able to bite a cucumber again. But youll need to protect your orthodontic appliances when you eat for as long as youre wearing braces.
Please refrain from nail biting, pencil and pen chewing, and chewing on other foreign objects. This may cause loosening of the appliances. It is important to care for your braces by regularly checking for bent or loose braces and wires. Call our office if you notice any of these problems.
When you get your braces on, you may feel general soreness in your mouth and teeth may be tender to biting pressures for 3 5 days. Take Tylenol or whatever you normally take for headache or discomfort. The lips, cheeks and tongue may also become irritated for one to two weeks as they toughen and become accustomed to the braces. We will supply wax to put on the braces in irritated areas to lessen discomfort.
To successfully complete orthodontic treatment, the patient must work together with the orthodontist. The teeth and jaws can only move toward their corrected positions if the patient consistently wears the rubber bands or other appliances as prescribed. Lack of cooperation following instructions and damaged appliances lengthen the treatment time so please follow instructions.

Dr. Lundner is highly knowledgeable and has a great "bedside manner." He is confident and has made this journey easy to manage. The front desk is welcoming and always a pleasure to work with. I have completed my invisaligns! Started June 22nd 2021, ended October 6th 2022. Absolutely worth it and highly recommend! Very clean and very professionals! Thank you for everything Dr. Lundner! I'm extremely happy with my teeth!

Dr. Lundner has done orthodontic work on both of my sons and have had a great experience. From the initial consultation through to my boys getting their retainers, he is always very thorough and explains everything clearly. Is also very personable and friendly. Dr. Lundner did an absolutely amazing job on my daughter's teeth! She needed significant movement due to a missing tooth and he was very clear upfront about the complexity, options, and timing...and the results are excellent! I really appreciate how thorough and dedicated he is to providing a perfect smile with constant communication with each step while providing guidance and choices based on individual preference. Before coming here I had a lot of problems with my teeth. After getting my braces I saw change immediately. My teeth look AMAZING and I'm so glad I got my treatment here. They are quite kind and a great staff. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in need of an orthodontist!!!

Very professional and informative! I had my initially visit and he did a great job explaining the possibilities of how he could help. He even gave me a tour of the facility! Everyone there was polite and professional! You can tell they really care about their patients. Highly recommend.

If I could give 50 stars I would! This is our second child to have braces. For our first child we went to a different orthodontist and decided to use Lundner Ortho for our daughter. I am so thrilled that we made the switch because the experience at this office was incredible. Dr. Lundner was honest, patient and kind. We never had to wait for our appointments. His staff was very professional, helpful and supportive. Most importantly, my daughter's teeth look AMAZING! I highly recommend Lundner Orthodontics!

This was my second time in braces. First set I was in my early 20's this time in my higher 50's. I went to two other orthodontist and they each wanted to make major changes in mouth, change the shape of my chin expand my palate and more. I just wanted a nicer smile. So I postponed it for a couple of years. Then when researching adult braces I found a type of braces that I thought would work for me and The Ortho Spot carried that brand. My first appointment was refreshing after the ones I went to before. He really listened to what I was wanting and felt that the system I found was right for me. He even explained why the other systems were not right. They did X-rays and I think even a mold of my teeth that day. On my next appointment he had a game plan mapped out and a time line. They even have a device "AcceleDent" that you wear for 20 minutes a day to help shift your teeth for faster results. My treatment only took a year and a few months! I recommend The Ortho Spot to everyone.

A perfectionist, while providing professional and compassionate care. Dr. Lundner took the time to thoroughly explain the process and options for my son's treatment. There were a number issues to address prior to alignment, but Dr. Lundner made sure that both he and the patient/family were completely satisfied with the end results. An amazing transformation not only in the function and appearance of our son's teeth, but in his confidence as well.

I loved my experience here. Considering I began my braces journey when I was 29 and I am now 31 as an adult you know when someone is passionate about their job. I witnessed that every time with my orthodontist. He explained things throughly, worked around my disadvantages of having a tired jaw or my anxiety. That made my experience a lot better. Dr. Lundner has done work on both of my daughters. What I respect about approach is that prior to starting work on my daughters, he was conservative enough to make sure that they were ready in their growth to begin treatment. My first daughter he suggested we wait a year before starting the treatment and with my second daughter he put the decision in our hand to wait based on pros and cons of each approach. In fact, we went to Dr. Lundner because our dentist, Dr. Rusty Albrecht, recommended him based on this approach and he knew we would "get an honest and upfront opinion on when to start treatment." The other aspect that I appreciate is his attention to detail and communication near the end of the braces treatment. While sometimes good enough is good enough to the untrained eye, he continued to recommend additional months to ensure that the teeth were as aligned as he could get that. We have enjoyed working with Dr. Lundner over the better part of the last decade and have recommended him to many people in our community when the topic of needing braces comes up. If you need braces or are looking for a new Orthodontist, I recommend talking with Dr. Lundner as you are looking and I believe you will find the care and honesty you are looking for in a doctor with him!
