Originally a native of Cleveland, Dr. Eadie moved to Chicagos North Shore in the summer of 2012. Prior to making the North Shore his permanent home, he graduated from John Carroll University in 1997 with an undergraduate degree in biology. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from Marquette University in 2001 and practiced dentistry in the Cleveland suburbs. Dr. Eadie is proud to call the North Shore his home and he looks forward to providing the best dental care possible to his patients, neighbors and community.

Even if you floss every day and brush after meals, you may find that you have a problem with food getting stuck between the same teeth. This can cause problems well beyond making you feel self-conscious. For one thing, food between your teeth can be uncomfortable or even painful. However, the problems can be greater than that.
Did you know that plaque can form between your teeth and at the gumline and that thats where periodontal disease often begins?If you remove the food between your teeth, youre making your mouth cleaner and less hospitable to periodontal disease and other problems. Flossing and brushing after every meal is helpful for most people to help prevent this.
Our patient came in complaining of food getting stuck between their teeth at every meal, even though they flossed. Dr. Eadie took x-rays and intra-oral photos of the area. Below is an image that shows that the contact between the teeth was poor, allowing for food to build up in between. Furthermore, the intra-oral photos showed that the filling was leaking and decaying as you can see in the midpoint of the left tooth.
The patient wasnt aware that their filling was leaking and decaying, until they saw Dr. Eadies intra-oral photos. Left unattended the decay would have grown and possibly reached the nerve, resulting in the need of a root canal.
Dr. Eadie immediately removed the old filling and decay, to restore the tooth to a healthy status. Once the tooth was free of decay, Dr. Eadie placed a tooth-colored composite filling to match the existing shade of the patients natural teeth.
The tooth-colored composite filling turned out beautifully, matching the existing patients teeth perfectly. Gone are the days of the silver amalgum. More importantly the patient now has a healthy tooth with a proper contact, that eliminates the patients initial concern with food getting stuck in their teeth.

My entire family has gone to Dr. Eady for dental care since he took over the previous dentist's practice. Being a physician and my wife a nurse, we have always been especially impressed by his knowledge, technical ability, thoroughness, interactive skills and gentleness. The latter is best exemplified by his care of our grandchildren. We get similar feedback from the rest of the family as well. A great dentist and person.

Dr. Eadie is super efficient but thorough. I never feel rushed but also don't sit in a chair waiting for my turn like I have at some other dentists. Excellent work - from cleaning to crowns. I couldn't be happier and am thrilled to have found him. (and Jackie is a pleasure to work with as well)

Went in for a teeth cleaning- Dr. Eadie is great and worked efficiently and listens to your concerns. The process was comfortable, clean facility and equipment, and took x-rays after (optional) to answer any questions I had. I recommend Dr. Eadie and his facility.

Dr. Eadie took over the practice of my previous dentist; I decided to give him a try and I'm so glad I did! He and his wonderful assistant, Marlena, recently shepherded me through the replacement of two missing teeth with implants. For someone with a history of dental problems and anxiety, this was an extremely daunting prospect but Dr. Edie is very good at presenting things step by step and making you feel like a participant in your dental care. And I am really pleased with the results!

From routine appointments, to emergency root canals on Christmas Eve., Dr. Jeff Eadie is the most caring dentist I have ever been to in my life. His approach to dental care is from a friend, not a doctor that is looking to make a buck. No unnecessary pushes for veneers or whitening. He makes you feel comfortable in the dental chair, explains every option in detail, and calms any anxiety you may have about filling a cavity or preparing for a crown. Any procedure that I have had has been painless. Even my kids don't mind going to see Dr. Eadie, when in the past, they hated going to the dentist. This is dentistry from the heart!

I travel and have lived in many places, but I try to book my dental appointments with Dr. Eadie whenever I am back in Chicagoland area. He is one of the best medical providers I've ever had: courteous, smart, friendly, professional, funny and always outlines my options with me as well as walks me through everything he is doing. I feel like not only am I getting the best treatment but am also getting education on the process along the way. He is also very humble and gentle with his delivery.
