Levon has many years of experience in orthodontics. Her career started in 1998. Her favorite advancement in her job has been auto-finance. In my personal life I have all my bills on auto-pay and it makes things so much simpler, so its important to me that we offer that in our practice. She has learned to love weeding (if its your own garden) and really likes being the cool aunt to her two brothers children.
Laney has been an orthodontic assistant since 2008. Besides chairside assisting, Laney also runs our in-office orthodontic lab. I am always learning new technologies and techniques at TMO and I love that we are always learning and growing as a team. Her and her husband moved here from Salt Lake City, UT and love being outside with their two little boys.
Gwendolyn, who also goes by Gwenny, is beginning her orthodontic career with Dr. Gretchens team and loving it. She graduated from the dental program at Clark County Skills center in 2010. My greatest reward as an orthodontic assistant is watching smiles change for the better. Gwennys hobbies include skiing, painting, going on road trips and reading.
Amy has been in the dental field since 2008, and an orthodontic assistant since 2011. She enjoys seeing patients' confidence grow as their teeth align. Advancing my skills and applying new technology is always a goal of mine that we as a team apply here at TMO. In her spare time, she enjoys running, reading, playing games and going on adventures with her husband and three girls.
From San Luis Obispo, Janelle graduated from Cal Poly and then completed a pre-dental program at PSU. I have been leading middle schoolers through Young Life for years watching them undergo orthodontic treatment. I realized that I could help shape a smile and a more positive self-image. I am excited for what TMO staff and patients will teach me. Janelle enjoys hiking, road trips, and film photography.
Dr. Gretchen Schnepper been practicing orthodontics in Vancouver, Washington since 2007. She opened her state of the art private practice in 2010. She graduated from and completed an additional 27 month, advanced educational program in orthodontics at Loma Linda University. Orthodontists are uniquely qualified dental specialists who diagnose, prevent and treat dental and facial irregularities to correctly align teeth and jaws. Dr. Gretchen comes from a long line of dental professionals. Both her maternal and paternal grandfathers and her father were dentists and her uncle still practices today. While in dental school she received The American Association of Orthodontists Award, the American Association of Oral Biologists Award and the International College of Dentistry Award.
Dr. Gretchen is married to Darby, a first and second grade teacher. She enjoys reading, making art, bicycling and camping in her spare time. They have been blessed with 2 beautiful daughters.She loves being a mom.

We can.not say enough about our experience with Dr.Schnepper and her team. When we first took our son to a local orthodontist we were told that he would need to have his top and bottom jaw bone broke before we could even start braces. Thanks to a friend who let us know about Gretchen and her specialty with Invisalign, I now have a son who is almost done and looking fabulous, a daughter who is half way through and her sister getting ready to start. It's easy, pain free and less expensive than having your jaw broke! The ease of appointments and their modern and friendly atmosphere is amazing! Thank you Dr.Schnepper!!

I have gone to the Modern Orthodontist for two treatments of braces! When she took over Dr. Curly's patients and currently! I love the team, Laney always takes great care of any needs I may have and they remembered I had surgery and check to see how I am doing! It's really sweet. Highly recommend for kids and adults!

My 12 year old son has his orthodontic work done here and we have not had anything but a great experience through his whole treatment. He has wore all his aligners accordingly and been on top of taking care of his teeth better than before! The staff at Modern Orthodontist Team in Vancouver have always been friendly, kind and helpful. They are always on time with the appointments. As soon as we walk into the door, the front desk staff know who we are and would get us checked in immediately even at times when we are earlier than usual. As soon as we sit down in the waiting area, minutes later we are called in right away. My son used to dread going to his dentist and orthodontist appointments but the staff put my son at ease. They went over everything with us about his treatment plan, helped us work with dividing the costs between two (co-parents) in different homes very smoothly. Laney is always engaging, has good feedbacks for my son and reassures us for any questions that we might have. We recommend, this is the place for your orthodontic treatment needs! Thank you for your awesome work!

I cannot say enough good things about The Modern Orthodontist. I am in my 30s and currently in my final retainer stage of Invisalign and I am so happy. Dr. Schnepper is so welcoming and so smart and capable. I felt so comfortable throughout my entire treatment, trusting her to do what was right for me. Her staff is also so great.. shoutout to Laney who always took great care of me! TMO also took so many precautions and made me feel so comfortable coming in for treatment during Covid. If you are thinking about getting Invisalign, do it! I would highly, highly recommend Dr. Schnepper. My only regret is that is didn't do it sooner! Thank you so much TMO!

I don't even know where to start. The office was so easy to get my services done yet and they were straight forward about costs and changes with my other dental work. The all female staff was a nice touch. Dr. Schnepper is the best in the area for invisalgn. She is so dedicated to getting you the best smile. The office is also very understanding and accommodating in these hard times.

I spent my childhood and adult life until now 38, with very crooked teeth. There were years when I would cover my smile when I laughed or smile with my mouth shut in pictures. It is liberating to now feel comfortable smiling big and laughing openly. The confidence that a straight teeth smile gives a person is a beautiful gift. But before I decided to get orthodontic care, I challenged myself to embrace and accept my smile just as it was and learned to smile big while I still had crooked teeth. I told myself that I could not get braces until I learned to feel comfortable smiling and laughing unabashedly with my very own unique crooked smile. This taught me to love myself just as I was... I held my crooked smile big for a couple of years. It was only at that point that I decided it was now time to gift myself the care of orthodontics. Braces not only give a person confidence, but it is so much more than cosmetic. There are hygienic issues when your teeth are covering up other areas of teeth; harder to clean! There are bite issues. There are gum issues that can occur. Getting braces is well worth all of the above, and the team at Modern Dentistry have been amazing! I am thankful to Dr. Schnepper and her team for being part of my braces journey with me and I look forward to hopefully getting my son in their next. Thank you!

Dr. Schnepper and her team are always amazing to be around and do an amazing job at making you feel welcome and walking you through the course of your treatment. I had Invisalign and it was the best experience I could've had for an adult getting "braces". I'd recommend Dr. Schnepper to anyone who asks.
