I had 2 teeth removed and I was terrified. Dr. McKenzie did everything he could to ease my mind. He talked me through every step. I am so grateful that I found him. His staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. It was such a positive experience. From this day forward, he is the only dentist I will go to. Thank you Dr. and your wonderful staff.

I have been very pleased with Dr. McKenzie and with Jill who cleans my teeth every three months. I inherited some bad teeth and gum issues and Dr. McKenzie has kept my mouth in good shape. Thank you. J. K. Magnuson

I'll start by saying "BEST dentist EVER! Dr. M is caring, compassionate but straight up (in a good way) his staff is wonderful! They are friendly and caring. They always have a smile and a kind word the second you walk in the door. They are in my book.

After being fed up with my dentist who left me with a horrible temporary denture and three years of pain canceled appointments and his praise for himself Having to wear a mask for Covid enabled me to go denture free well Covid is over and I was still in pain I had enough I looked into different dentists and couldn't find anyone that my friends and coworkers could recommend.My friend was going to try affordable implants she said give it a try I think you will be happy well I explained about my twice yearly treatment and he decided I needed an oral surgeon for the 4 implants he referred me to the McKenzie center and a few others .Thank God he gave me an appointment a few days . I explained why I was sent to him(my treatment)He did some research right then and there .and went over his plan for me on that first appointment I was so happy I was scheduled a week later my implants are perfect straight and very well placed no more pain after 3 years of waiting for my old dentist Dr McKenzie is my hero he saw me right away explained exactly what he was going to do,Two visits and I had my implants I had two implants for my top denture I wasn't getting the Treatment at that time the first surgery did not work so she had to do it again so the implants are not in the place she originally said horrible pain not once but twice.Everything about Dr McKenzie from his staff to his treatment plan is excellent he is caring friendly and very reassuring I would highly recommend him he actually told me I was a good patient.If you want an excellent dentist call the McKenzie CenterThankyou Dr McKenzie

Dr McKenzie, Jillien and Kathy have always gone above and beyond to accomodate my needs in a professional, timely and friendly manner. I have had extractions and cleanings done and have always been very satisfied with all work and results. The atmosphere is clean and very friendly. I recommend this practice to everyone.

I was referred to Dr McKenzie for a problem with one of my wisdom teeth to have it extracted. Was very nervous about the procedure. Dr McKenzie and his staff explained in detail what was going to happen and set my mind at ease. Dr McKenzie and his entire staff are personable, extremely pleasant and very professional. I could not have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend him and would definitely use him in the future. Great doctor and staff.

Very friendly and warm personal on first visit. On the second visit, that was pushed up due to extreme pain in my mouth, there was a question I asked about impressions and keeping the look of having teeth, his reply was you won't be able to have any prosthetics after the procedure even after I called to make sure what was the best option where I could at least look like I had teeth. Then he continued to mutter under his breath that he wasnt going to argue, which noboy was even raising there voice, he walked into his back office, never to be seen again....yes we got a refund. This was after paying the$3000+ bill for 2 teeth that I wanted removed. We went to Dentist of Port Charlotte and was able to get everything done in one building with in 48 hrs. It was gonna take a month and a half at Dr. McKenzie's office. Save time and a whole lot of money, check else where

Dr McKenzie performed a deep peridontal cleaning and literally saved me from dentures. He has shown me how to care for my teeth and gums going forward. Infection and pain are gone, i couldnt be more thankful to him

Have had three implants in the past four years and have never had any complications or pain afterwards. Highly recommend Dr. McKenzie for the proficiency of his office staff dealing with insurance and his willingness to take the time to explain his procedures.

If you are looking for a Periodontist look no further. Dr. McKenzie and his staff are the best. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked into the office. They go above an beyond to answer any questions and Dr. McKenzie's work was amazing.

Dr. McKenzie, his wife and the entire staff are wonderful. During my career, I was told a staff reflects the boss--this is so true at the McKenzie office. Dr. McKenzie and his wife, Jennifer, could not have been more helpful. I was in his chair for a good 45 minutes for a consultation. He explained everything in detail, consulted with another dentist as to the procedure to be used and came up with a plan that was right for me. I have already recommended him to a friend and will continue to do so. If you want to talk with me, call Dr. McKenzie's office and ask that they relay a message to me. Having just moved to FL six months ago I found myself needing a periodontist. I did my research and found Dr McKenzie. AMAZING staff and service. If you want to feel welcomed from the minute you walk in, receive great treatment, follow up after your procedure...then Dr McKenzie's office is the place to be. The staff called me later in the day to see how I was, they answered any questions I had when I called, and Dr McKenzie called me on the weekend to check in. I would give this place MORE than 5 stars if I could.

I called Dr McKenzie when I had a toothache and suspected my tooth needed to be extracted or have a root canal. He scheduled me the following day for evaluation and the day following that for surgical extraction. The Dr then called me every day to check on me, reassuring me that I should call anytime at all. He even gave me his cell phone number! Every interaction with him and his office staff was special. They were friendly, welcoming and spent time listening to me. Dr. Bill explained his thinking to me every step of the way. He was honest, reassuring and spent all the time I needed to make my decisions. As a nurse (in school for 26 years and with hospice for 8 years) on the receiving end of the care, I appreciated the attention and patience showed me. He is a very skilled dentist and has an excellent "bedside manner". He made me feel special.

Good Samaritan Dental Services (GSDS)! My new implant (only one month old) came loose while I was visiting from Canada. I wasn't sure whether it was the crown or the implant itself. After searching via Google, I finally found a well-rated dentist who was willing to see me on short notice by squeezing me in between patients. To make a long story short, it was the crown, which is not one of Dr McKenzie's specialties. After taking an X-ray, he removed and reinstalled the crown. He then referred me to another more appropriate dentist in case the crown came loose again and charged me only for the X-ray! He even called the next day (a Saturday) to see if the crown had come loose again. This is the first time that I've ever encountered a GSDS!

*Please note, this review is on behalf of one of Dr. McKenzie's patients, Judy Delaney, who wanted anyone who reads this review to know that she is 82, and that technology can be difficult to navigate* Before moving down to Florida, I had been seeing a periodontist in New York for several years. When it was time for me to move, I was referred to Dr. McKenzie as well as another periodontist. The only difference I knew of, was that one was a woman and one was a man. I wasn't sure who I should I go with, and I was a little uneasy, but I decided to see Dr. McKenzie. All of the nerves I had quickly went away after my first appointment with Dr. McKenzie. He made me feel comfortable and the atmosphere of his office just felt like the perfect fit for me. Dr. McKenzie, as well as his hygienist, Jill, have been maintaining my teeth for 17 years and they have been in the best condition since. A plus of seeing Dr. McKenzie is that you can share readings with him. He gladly takes and gives book recommendations. Dr. McKenzie is a personable man with a phenomenal family practice!

Truly the BEST dentistry ever. All the staff is so friendly and kind. Been going to Dr. McKenzie for about 2 years and I have nothing bad to say at all. Everyone of my visits has been very pleasant. Jill the hygienist is absolutely wonderful. I used to always fret when it was time to go to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned, now that has changed tremendously since I have been seeing Jill every three months. Dealing with Periodontal disease is not fun at all.

For the past quarter century I have changed where I work, what I do, where I live, and professionals of all type but throughout all of these changes, Dr. McKenzie has remained my periodontist. Why? Because I trust him. I have learned to trust him as together we have met the challenges of my periodontal condition. He is competent in his specialty and genuinely cares about his patients. I unconditionally give him my highest recommendation.
