Dr. Lucas is a Graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, a United States Air Force Veteran and proud owner of two canines Cody and Benji. Dr. Lucas was born and raised in Federal Way, and his objective is to provide compassionate dentistry for the Community which sparked his love for the field. He has strong ties to the Federal Way Community, as he was born and raised here with his parents still living locally. His goal as a dentist is to provide compassionate care and to earn your trust as a Dentist! In his free time you can find him spending quality time with his fianc and blazing up local trails with his two enthusiastic pups.
While in the United States Airforce, he received extensive training in all aspects of Dentistry, including oral surgery, endodontics, orthodontics and implant dentistry. He attends regular CE courses to hone his skills as a provider and execute the best possible care.

The Local Dentist is a great place to go take care of your teeth and gums! Dr. Kim and his team are all very professional. He would patiently explain the procedure he is about to perform. I have a periodontal cleaning every 3 months and they all do a great job, I know that I'm in good hands! I was told that soon he'll be doing implants, I'm excited about that since I have a couple of gaps that needs it and Dr Kim has the gentlest and most capable hands! And lastly, Angie is the most reliable scheduler, she understand our busy schedule and so she finds a date and time that works for me and my family, every time! She updates us of our dental coverage and so I know when best to schedule a major dental procedure! Every visit is like visiting friends. We couldn't be happier with Dr. Kim and his Team!!

Dr. Lucas Kim is very thorough in explaining my dental issue and prcd necessary to alleviate the pain. He made me feel ease (dental visit is always stressful) He's great at building rapport with his his patient. The staff is so accommodating, professional and very helpful. The clinic is nice and quaint, and not like a run of the mill clinic. Finally I found a new family dentist!

Loved coming here! Sadly we've had to find a new dentist since we moved to Tacoma, but we kept coming as long as we could. Everyone has always been great and very nice. You'll be in the best hands with these folks.
