Dr. Mark Rangel grew up in the small, West Texas town of Stamford and graduated from Stamford High School. He continued his education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where he majored in Computer Engineering and minored in Mathematics. In 2009, he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston.
Following graduation, Dr. Rangel returned to West Texas to open his own dental practice. With his computer engineering background, he is constantly applying technological advances in his practice to improve his patients experience.
Dr. Rangel has completed advanced laser dentistry training to perform non-invasive procedures including NightLase (Snoring and Sleep Apnea Treatment), SmoothLase (Non-surgical facial rejuvenation), LipLase (Lip rejuvenation and enhancement). Dr. Rangel is also certified to practice sedation dentistry.
Technology is a driving force at our practice. Keeping up to date with the latest dental advances not only allows us to provide more accurate treatments, but allows us to provide an all-around better dental experience for our patients by improving safety, comfort and results. Our technologies include lasers, a cone beam CT scanner, a 3D printer, digital xrays and intraoral cameras, to name a few. We promise to always remain at the forefront of leading dentistry, and we will continue to invest in advanced technology with you in mind.
Our in-house 3D fabrication technology allows Dr. Rangel to personally prepare for restorative procedures by doing the workup needed for complex cases himself, where other dentists would likely send these off to an outside laboratory to be completed. By keeping this step in-house, we can ensure a more high-quality and customized restoration that will look and feel natural.
Because our office is newly renovated with the most advanced dental technology available, we can meet the majority of your dental needs right here in-house. From general and cosmetic dentistry to extractions, root canals, sleep apnea treatment and non-surgical facial rejuvenation, theres little we dont do. Additionally, we are constantly taking continuing education courses to learn how to provide better, faster, and more comfortable service for you. You can count on us for customized, comprehensive care.

Very professional staff and very comfortable decor. Got in, exam and x-rays and extraction in less than two hours. Very painless.

I absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is so friendly. I have been coming here for almost 16 years. I had never seen a dentist before, I would never smile; know I can't stop smiling. They have help so much. When Dr Fregia retired I thought I was going to have to look for another doctor. I'm so glad we didn't. The Laser Smile Center have the BEST Dr and staff. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Rangel was very thorough. He listened to all of my concerns. I did not feel rushed at all. His staff was very personable, competent and knowledgeable. I also did not feel any pressure to accept unnecessary procedures. I've scheduled some fairly extensive dental work with Dr. Rangel and I feel good about it. I would definitely recommend.

I always love coming to the Laser Smile Center because the people are super nice and friendly. They make you feel comfortable and are always ready to help. I went in to get a root canal and they really took good care of me. Dr. Rangel does really good work and his assistant Lisa is awesome! If you ever need any work on your teeth, I highly recommend checking out the Laser Smile Center!

My experience at the Laser Smile Center was excellent. Staff treated me very courteously and the procedure was painless. I had a filling replaced that had came out and disappeared. I was very impressed with Dr. Rangel and plan on making him my go to dentist in the future.

I was really impressed with Dr Rangel and his entire staff.I took my son who has Asperger's and is not easily comfortable with dentists and change. They put him at ease and he is looking forward to his next visit. The Dr and his staff were very patient and understanding about my son's disability. I would highly recommend Dr Rangel to anyone.

Dr. Rangel and his staff are all very nice and professional; the prophylaxis (cleaning) I receive there is always very thorough! Also, the facility is very inviting with copious amounts of natural light, and the remodeling they have done in there is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!
