Dr.Perezwas born in the City of Santiago, Dominican Republic. From a young age, Dr. Perez knew he wanted to become a dentist and follow in the footsteps of both of his parents who are also dentists. After graduating dental school Cum Laude at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), he became a professor at his alma mater while sharing a practice with his mother for 2 years. Dr. Perez eventually moved to the United States to attend dental school at Boston Universitys Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After practicing in Boston for over 2 years he is now residing in South Florida to be closer to family and friends.In 2019 Dr. Perez completed a year long Dental Implant Training Course at Nova Southeastern University's College Of Dental Medicine. Dr. Perez believes in continued professional development and is an active member of several local dental study clubs where he meets weekly with other dental professionals to discuss cases and exchange ideas. Within the practice of dentistry he particularly enjoys performing cosmetic procedures (Porcelain veneers, esthetic composites, botox), dental surgery (dental implants) and root canals. Dr. Perez is also a faculty member in the department of prosthodontics at Nova Southeastern University's College of Dental Medicine where he teaches Computer Assisted Design and Computer Assisted Milling (CAD/CAM) of dental restorations. When not working Dr. Perez is traveling or spending time with his family.
Dr. Perezis a minimally invasive dentist, is Invisalign certified, and has extensive training and experience in all aspects of general, cosmetic dentistry and implant dentistry. Dr. Perez is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

'I 've had three different services from the Kodish-Perez Dental group in the last 30 days. Each time I was there I was pleasantly surprised at what a great experience it was. That is NOT something you can usually say about a dentist visit. First I had my teeth cleaned, then I went back for whitening, and finally a crown and filling replacement I had been putting off. Each time Kathy was there and made me feel like I was being taken care of by my sister. Dr Perez is also kind and gentle. Joelle is a native Floridian, she graduated with honors from Santa Fe College Dental Hygiene Program in 2004. On her days off you will find her at the dog park with her two fur-babies, in a hot yoga class or watching a Gators game... Go Gators! Joelle loves being a Dental Hygienist because she truly enjoys creating healthy smiles and lifelong relationships with the patients she treats.
Bri will be the first smiling face you will see at the Fort Lauderdale Dental Studio. She chose this field because she enjoys working with people and transforming smiles. Bri loves working at our office because she believes that we all work cohesively and patient care is a top priority for every member of our team. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Dr. Perez spends time explaining treatment so that you understand what and why you need treatment. His crowns are made in office and his attention to detail is amazing. He has gentle hands and chair side manner. I recommend if you are looking for a good dentist that you call Fort Lauderdale Dental Studio and Dr. Perez as soon as possible.

This office is amazing in its entirety! Staff and dentist were super kind, competent, and honest. I came in for a check up & cleaning and they provided an outstanding service from start to finish. The dentist was very professional and patient. The dental hygienist did the best cleaning I've ever gotten, she was very meticulous and gentle. Everyone there had good energy and that says a lot about the boss/business. Very grateful to have found them!

I called this office because they were listed on my dental network and they were close to my home. I had a dental emergency (broken tooth) and needed immediate care. I was given a prompt appointment and went to the office. I was informed that they in fact did not carry my insurance after I was there. Long story I needed an emergency repair and went ahead to pay the new patient fee of 149. After seeing the dentist who was extremely bland and cold, I was then presented a projection of costs for repair from 575 to 4,000 plus. I chose the 575 to get the work done immediately understanding it was temporary...it fell out the next day. I would advise anyone considering this office to think twice and select another dentist.

This office has been exceptional. Dr. Perez has been Phenomenal with me and my dental needs! I've sent my entire family here.
