The first time Dr. Brian and his wife Rachel drove across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge they looked at each other and said, Wow!. They were awestruck by the beauty of the Puget Sound with towering Mt.Rainier behind them. It only got better from there. Having grown up in a small town in the desert valley of Utah, Dr. B had never seen so much green and water together! They quickly decided Gig Harbor is where they wanted to raise their three young children. So they packed up and left their home in sunny California to come to the greenand sometimes gray :), of Gig Harbor.
We love this dentist. The atmosphere, staff, and dentists are so good with the kids. They totally cater to my 5-year-old. He is so in heaven when we are there he never complains and is excited to see the office when we arrive. We love it so much that we travel a bit of a distance to go to this dentist while the rest of our family goes to a dentist right around the corner from our house. I highly recommend The Kids’ Dentist

The service was great. Their billing is not. They will make you sign to pay your bill before you get service. And they will guess your bill after insurance and make you pay it as you are walking your kid out. Then they will bill insurance and send you another bill months later. Its a bag mess and hard to track. They leave you with a feeling like they are hard up. Best to let your insurance pay them and then pay the difference instead of trying to pay them up front and then clean up the mess later and have a big paperwork disaster later. Like I said you can't track anything it's a big disaster also they can get their money right now as you're walking out

Both Doctors are great! Rosie has had Gabby twice and she does an amazing job of helping with getting X-rays! This is the second office we have tried and we love it!

What an amazing experience! I took my 3 y/o to another dentist in Puyallup who confirmed 4 cavities and required 1 pediatric root canal and 4 crowns. Thankfully I got a second opinion from The Kids Dentist in Gig Harbor who did not recommend such invasive procedures but rather we have been monitoring her cavities and thus far, no negative progression has ensued. I appreciate the 2nd opinion and monitoring vs invasive procedures, what a game changer for a little girl and a worried mother! Plus, the design relaxes my daughter, she loves playing there and begs to stay afterward to play on the boat in the lobby. Last visit she made a friend with another patient! What dentist office can one go to that a child enjoys? THIS ONE!

What an amazing pediatric dental office! Staff are so wonderful and welcoming! Very warm and friendly and instantly made me and my little one feel comfortable. It was my little ones first time to the dentist and she ABSOLUTELY loved her experience! They absolutely nail it here. Highly recommend this place and I will be driving 2.5 hours to come back because it's that worth it!

We just had my son's 18 mo visit and I'm so grateful for Dr. Brian Dansie & his staff!!! My son is fairly shy out the gate and everyone at the office made him feel very comfortable! The office itself is incredibly kid-friendly, clean, beautifully decorated! I left feeling like we're on a track, informed, & supported. My son left thrilled to show his Dad his new toothbrush and the toy fox he got for good behavior! Win-win in my book!

We have brought our daughter and she needed quite a bit if work. They have been absolutely amazing. They were very accommodating and worked perfectly with my wishes. I highly recommend they. My daughter is so excited to go every time

I never leave reviews but feel compelled because I was beyond impressed with Dr Dansie and his staff! I can't say enough. Prior to being seen here, my daughter was apprehensive about dental treatment. She had never been able to tolerate a cleaning or xrays. Our first visit here, they were able to get both! We ended up coming back for a filling, and not only was she able to get the work done, but she actually enjoyed the experience! I am absolutely blown away! Dr Dansie and staff are kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. The office is beautifully decorated. It is definitely worth passing up other offices closer to home, and making the drive to Gig Harbor for The Kids Dentist!

I switched my daughter to the Kid's Dentist 2 years ago and have never looked back. They are extremely gentle and rewarding with the children and I feel like their treatment plans and prices are fair. Their office is very child friendly and they even have TVs above the chairs that are great distractions for my dentist-anxious kid.

The best experience ever!! We have 2 down syndrome and autistic children. We haven't been able to see traditional dentists for them and so it was so refreshing to actually have their teeth cleaned! Dr. Brian is amazing and the staff was so friendly and helpful!! I would totally recommend this facility for dental work. You will be thrilled you went!!!

Dr. Brian is so wonderful with our kids. My kids now love going to the dentist. The office is so kid friendly and northwest themed. It is so cool! We recently added a toddler to the mix and he's excited to go to the dentist too!

Dr Brian and his staff including Monica at the front desk are absolutely amazing!! My boys have been going to see them since they were in the Renton office. We live out in Maple Valley and drive all the way to Gig Harbor just because they are that great! If you need a pediatric dentist, we would recommend them all in a heart beat. They all are the greatest people!!

My daughter and son went to the Kids' Dentist in Gig Harbor for the first time last week and it could not have gone any better! I loved that I was able to get my 3 year old and 1 year old in together rather than having to do two separate appointments. Every detail for keeping kids comfortable in what can be a scary environment to them was considered. There was hardly a wait from the time we arrived to the time we were called back, but in the time we were waiting, my kids had a blast playing at the boat in the lobby. They tried to get xrays of my daughter's teeth, but she was having trouble with the thing she needed to bite down on. They did not force her to continue nor did they make her feel guilty for not being able to complete the xrays. They simply moved on without skipping a beat as if it were successful. When I was a kid, I remember feeling like I was being tortured for xrays and forced to continue despite being uncomfortable, so it was a relief to see this office put the patient's comfort at the top of their priority list. The exams were thorough and quick despite them having to work with a wiggly toddler and curious 1 year old. My 1 year old loved the experience so much that he insisted that he sit with Dr. Dansie rather that sit on my lap. My son was completely obsessed with him and didn't want to leave. It was as if he had known him forever despite having just met. At the end of the appointment, my daughter was able to get a prize out of the vending machines they had in addition to being given a goodie bag of dental hygiene items. It has been 3 days since we were there and my daughter is still talking about it and keeps asking when we can go back. I am so thankful to have such a friendly environment for my children to have their dental needs taken care of!
