Ill make this short and sweet. When looking for a dental home for your children, I think you care more about, my philosophy to dental care, and me as a person than my list of educational accomplishments. Ill suffice it to say I went to good schools, got good grades, and was always that girl in class! Now for the stuff that you probably really care about! I will always be your childs advocate for good oral health, and am prepared to overcome any obstacles that could prevent that. I like to think that there is a big bubble around my office with no judgement or parental guilt allowed. After all, we are all working towards the same goal, your childs optimal oral health. At the Kids Dentist, we truly love young people of all ages and know that they are more than just little adults. In fact, I am so passionate about my work that even after over 30 years of practicing pediatric dentistry, I still jump out of bed every morning eager to get to my office.
I chose to build my life here in central Indiana because I think that Midwest cornfields are a thing of true beauty. It has always been important to me to support the same businesses, schools, and charities that touch all of our lives. I am well known by my patients for wearing fun or sparkly shoesbe sure to check out my feet each time you see me! I decided I would rather marry a man with a heart of gold than buns of steel, and have been happily married for over 20 years. (Thats a compliment, Brian!) I raised my two kids here in Crawfordsville, and in retrospect Im glad that I didnt let anyone strangle them as teenagers because I now know that grandkids are the best reward ever! And maybe most importantly, I know that Tooth Fairy really exists!!!

Not the best place for your kid. It seemed good the first time but then 2nd time it was a hassle. They told me my daughter had to have like 5k worth of work done then when I went to a local to get a dif opinion they said it wasnt that bad and only spent like 1200. Also believe they didnt put this stuff on my daughters tooth like they said they did and she ended up getting an infection. I found a new and better dentist local.

This place is a joke I miss one appointment and even called to let them know ahead of time I'm a single dad it's hard for me to get to some appointments on time when they're made due to unforeseen circumstances they said it would be fine the next time I call to make an appointment they said we weren't allowed back there we were banished becsuse we missed an appointment ... ridiculous and they claim so much that they care about helping kids I don't see it felt like I was thrown out like Trash

It took 6 calls and a "stop" response to sms for them to (hopefully) remove my phone number when they got the wrong number. No idea if they are good dentists but that's pretty inefficient! Edit - Appreciate your response but I won't be calling as when I picked up the 5th erroneous call today and asked "can't my number be changed in this system", whoever had called me 5 times in a row proceeded to hang up on me mid sentence. I've blocked the number and am sorry for whatever IT failings that person was experiencing, but it was incredible rude to both spam my phone and hang up during my request to stop spamming my phone.

We had a very traumatic experience with sedated dental work for our son, who has Autism. They sedated him for his dental work at their office at the end of their day, and when he woke up, he was screaming and terrified, and they literally shoved us out the door. We later found out that he had emergence delirium, and they should have sent us to the hospital or kept him there to monitor him at the very least. This lasted for 3 days, and was so traumatic for us. Additionally, they "fired" him as a patient after over 10 years of going there because he has a Medicaid waiver and they didn't want to bill Medicaid anymore. We moved to a new dentist for all 3 of our children. After going through some things, we also discovered that they over-billed us several times, and billed our insurance for things that hadn't been done. We used to love this office, but after some serious thought into the way we were treated and going back through billing at the suggestion of a friend who had taken her kids there, I would not recommend them.

Dr. Winn immediately made my anxious daughter feel comfortable. Everything was explained in great detail, pricing was given up front. No surprises. I highly encourage you to visit the Kid's Dentist, if you have nervous kiddos or are looking for a new dentist. The staff are genuine and have the kids' best interest. Give them a call and you'll be happy you did.

The entire staff is AMAZING! They are all so kind, patient, and listen to your concerns/needs. Dr. Winn is a wonderful, bubbly doctor and makes you feel comfortable, while making great decisions for your children. So glad this will be my child's forever dental home! Plus, the decor of the entire office is a bonus!

100% recommended! So very glad that our local dentist referred us to The Kids' Dentist. From the receptionists to our tooth nurse, Chelsea, to Dr. Winn, we had an A+ experience on each of the 5 trips that we made there thus far. We are happy to make the drive back for future care!

We've only seen Dr. Winn for about two years. I have 2 boys who are being treated for behavioral issues which include cussing, kicking, hitting & destroying things. 1 of the 2 are diagnosed with ADHD & ASD. There's no conventional or "normal" experiences with my dudes, so I can understand the no tolerance at the clinic. What I couldn't grasp is the personal attack on myself from one of the assistants. My husband gets a call from her & relays that she says they will no longer see my children if I bring them in, only my husband. So I call to see what's going on in a non-confrontational matter but truly trying to see why I was being singled out. I get no response after leaving a message, so i visit the clinic. I really liked them & didnt want to misunderstand anything over the phone. Its a serious conversation that shouldnt be relayed other than face to face. After sitting down the the assistant & an HR rep, she then proclaims that every time I bring them in they throw a fit & act better with dad. To which I ask for specific instances because I need to know if I'm doing something wrong. After she tells me two occurances, I correct her by saying it was my husband that was with the children while their behaviors occurred, not me. I was actually the one to defuse them. She lays into me that I'm wrong, "aren't you & your husband together?", "he even agreed with me that the kids act up when you're around.","we refuse to see the kids if you bring them & will only see them if dad is the one to bring them." After i explained how prejudice it sounds she back tracks & states "I can be there but dad has to be the one to bring them".. just to name a few outlandish things that she said. Firstly, what she started with had NO relation. Secondly, you don't turn it into a marital issue. I couldn't believe what I was hearing, not to mention what the HR rep was allowing to happen. My mommy heart broke into a million pieces & I allowed this woman to hurt me that way. I never said one bad thing in response & was left defending myself to which i ended our relationship with them. Is this even legal?! It was after this experience why I understand other parents warning against this clinic. Please don't allow people to treat you in such a way as this.

My daughter had a hard time with having a filling done at a local dentist. But they made her feel comfortable and made the experience completely different at Kid's Dentist. She left screaming without any results at the local dentists' office. . At the Kid's Dentist, she had her filling done and even left with a smile on her face. Completely worth the extra drive.

The ladies here at the kids dentist are all so wonderful and very patient when i was looking for a different dentist for both my girls they were quick to get us in and scheduled. Dr Winn is the absolute best keep up the great work ladies.

I am so grateful I found this dentist for my daughter. What a Professional team that really cares for their patients. I'm so happy with the care the kids dentist has provided . Great communication and information on any concerns. I highly recommend this place !
