Dr. Brian grew up in Orange County after immigrating in 1990 with his family from Vietnam to America. After graduating from UCI on a full scholarship, he obtained his DMD and MBA at Harvard University,hospital dentistry residency at UCSF, and orthodontics residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center where he completed extensive sleep apnea research. He currently resides in Orange with his ophthalmologist wife, Dr. Dagny Zhu. In his spare time, Dr. Brian enjoys the outdoors, playing tennis, and giving back to the community through mentorship programs, interviewing students for Harvard College, and supporting medical missions to Vietnam.
Dr. Andrew, a technology geek growing up, received his Computer Science and Engineering degree from UCLA. After getting braces as an adult and experiencing firsthand the profound impact a smile has on patients lives, he switched from engineering to dentistry and completed his DDS at UCSF Dental School and orthodontics residency at Columbia University. As a San Francisco native, Dr. Andrew is a huge Giants fan. He strives for excellent care and communication with his patients, especially Dodgers fans, because he wants to give them something to smile about. He spends much of his spare time with his sweet wife (Pat) and energetic kids, Charlotte(age 7) and Cody (age 4).
Hello, I am Robin Nua. I have been a registered dental assistant (RDA), specializing in the orthodontic field for the last 39 years. This is something I have always wanted to be a part of ever since I wore braces as a teen. I thought what the assistants did was pretty cool, so I went to dental assisting school. When I am not working together with my great team of Dr. Andrew Lee and Dr. Brian Luong, I am enjoying time with family and friends. On any given weekend or weekday after work, you might find me walking the trails throughout Brea collecting Pokemon and getting in some exercise. I also enjoy yard work especially pulling weeds its a tedious job but to me, its very relaxing.
Kristin attended Syracuse University and has ten years experience as a Financial and Dental Office Manager in New York City. She is a member of the AADOM (American Academy of Dental Office Managers) and has extensive experience with Insurance and Treatment Planning Coordination. In her spare time she enjoys reading and photography and volunteers for Catholic Charities and Meals on Wheels. She loves living in California and is genuine, honest, and amazing at what she does

This week I visited The Hills (Smile Lab) for an Invisalign consultation. Kristen was absolutely amazing! She was welcoming, friendly, and very professional. Dr. Lee looked at my teeth and assured me that my goals were attainable through the Invisalign treatment. I am SO EXCITED to begin my Invisalign journey with The Hills Orthodontics!

I'm so happy with my experience at The Hills Smile Lab! I'm over 60 and decided that after all my children had braces it was finally time for me to have my smile straightened. Such a nice atmosphere, kind , caring and professional. Dr Lee , Dr Brian and Robin are the best. They have made the whole process fun and easy!

Highly recommend. We recently relocated to this area and need continue braces treatment for my daughter. I Google searched and talked in person with many doctors, no doubt this is the best place. Dr. Brian is very nice and professional. He reserved a full hour to evaluate my daughter's treatment status and provided all options for us to choose. Also Kristin is so helpful that she contacted my daughter's previous orthodontist and collected all needed records. Thank you all for the excellent work.

I had a bad experience with my last orthodontist and had my braces on for three years with no progress. I decided to find a new orthodontist and discovered The Hills Smile Lab. When I went in for a consultation it was very professional and the staff was wonderful. After spending a year with The Hills I finally got my braces off and was very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend checking them out you wont be disappointed.

We were treated so amazing by The Hills Orthodontics. We moved here from Colorado and needed a replacement retainer (had purchased a lifetime replacement program and had 3-D image on file). Because of a change in computer systems, we needed a new 3-D image on a specific type of computer system. We were referred to The Hills and they responded immediately, got us an appointment; doc did an evaluation and took the 3-D image, then sent it to our orthodontist in Colorado. Then they even helped fit the retainer once we received it! And they charged us nothing!! They were absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!

The Hills Smile Lab is THE BEST!! I got the amazing opportunity to apply for their smile scholarship and ended up winning the gift of FREE braces! Everyone at The Hills Orthodontics is so kind and truly passionate about their jobs. They have high tech machines and the office is always so clean. I am reaching the end of my treatment and I have never felt more confident about my smile. I look forward to seeing the staff everytime I go, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The team at The Hills Orthodontics are absolutely amazing! Kristin was so helpful and informative. She answered every single question I had regarding braces and helped guide me in the right direction. Robin, the technician assisting with my braces placement was so kind and very gentle. Finally, Dr. Brian couldn't be any nicer! He eased my nerves and was very communicative about the whole process. If you're on the fence about orthodontics, this is the place for you! They'll hold your hand through the whole process and do it with a smile on their faces.

Dr. Brian & his assistant Robin are incredible at their work. They make you feel welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend anyone who wants to enhance their smile! :) Update: I'm nearing the end of my treatment. Bittersweet because I'll miss having awesome conversations with them, but I do love my newly straightened teeth! Such honest and genuine people who just wanna give you a perfect smile.
