Dr. Chumbley graduated in the Top 4% of his class from the University of Texas Dental School at Houston, where he was awarded multiple honors upon graduation including: Texas Dental Association Outstanding Student, Academy of General Dentistry Senior Student Dental Award, and American Academy of Oral Medicine Award. He was also inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
With the desire to provide excellent dental care to his patients, Dr. Chumbley has furthered his education since graduation by attending courses across the country. He has advanced training in dental implant placement. He has also received advanced training in orthodontics from Progressive Orthodontic Seminars which allows him to provide custom braces for his patients. In 2014 alone, he received over 150 hours of continuing education and will add another 200+ hours in 2015. Dr. Chumbley has a desire to learn and pass this on to his patients so he may better serve and care for them.
Dr. Chumbley is a native of central Illinois but met his wife, Becca (Lopez), at Florida College in Tampa, Florida, and followed her back to Spring. She is a 1999 graduate of Klein High School. They are blessed with four beautiful children: Madeline (16), Mia (13), Amelia (8), and Wrigley (3). Needless to say they keep him busy when hes not at work. Dr. Chumbley is an active member at Kleinwood church of Christ, regularly teaching classes and leading singing. He is also the President of the local alumni chapter of his alma mater, Florida College, where he heads up an annual auction to raise money for college scholarships.
What patients need to know Ill show you pictures of my kids even if you dont ask to see them, Im a diehard Cubs fan, I sing while working (especially if Oldies are playing), and I have dad jokes that I routinely use. I love the Lord, I love my family, and I love what I do.

I had come in with a messed up case of bad veneers that I hated. Dr Heft was able to do a in depth consultation and guided me on how to fix my smile. I am beyond happy with my new teeth and their team is phenomenal.

Dr. Hill, Dr. Chumbley, and Dr. Heft are all absolutely fantastic dentists. They are extremely competent and wonderful people. I've been going to this dentistry ever since I was a child, so that's over a decade of satisfied service. As a kid I remember never dreading going to the dentist, and even remember being excited to go. As a teenager and an adult they were always very informative about what I needed to do to take the best possible care of my teeth. They have always taken great care of my dental health. The hygenist are simply amazing and very informative as well. Together the whole team makes the care personalized, painless, and enjoyable. The office is perhaps the cleanest and nicest I've ever had the pleasure of going to. The atmosphere is cozy and the equipment state of the art. Hands down I recommend this dentistry to anyone in need of a new dentists. Thank you to the entire Hill Dental Team for the greatest dental care all of these years!

I'm a long-time patient, and I can't say enough about this practice! I tried out 2 other dentists after moving downtown because I didn't want to drive so far, but I just went back yesterday and I'm so glad I did. I have pretty bad dental anxiety, and Dr. Chumbley and Trish are so understanding, kind, positive, and willing to work with what I need to feel comfortable. Not only that, but it seems that the quality of the work is several steps above other places I've been. I've had the same experience with Dr. Hill in the past, as well as with the wonderful hygienists on staff. I would try them out, even if you have to drive an hour!

Growing up and being traumatized by a dental experience. The Hill team invites you into their office as a guest. The compassion that was shown to me was greatly appreciated. From checking in with Gina, to Marilynn personally walking you back to the treatment room with her beautiful smile. Dr. Hill has such a great personality, professionally and personally assesses your needs for your best smile. He is truly an artist and a master of pain management and insures your procedure is comfortable. Below is the custom smile and veneers Dr. Hill created for me. The friendliness and attentiveness of the entire staff are outstanding. The office is always clean and the location is convenient. Dr. Chumbley is very focused on patient comfort and is the best dentist I've ever had (with the exceptions of his singing and jokes...both of which are subpar ). Go give this place a test drive...I promise that you won't be disappointed!

I was a prior patient of Dr. Heft at her previous dental group and they would not tell me where she had gone. I furiously started trying to locate her as she is the only dentist I want to see and was so pleased to find her. She is honest, sweet and does superior work with no pain. All of the staff are so nice and the office is very elegant and spotless. The charges have all been reasonable too. If you need a dentist, I highly recommend Dr.Heft. May husband and I have seen Dr Chumbley at Hill Dental for about 6 years and he is fantastic. You won't find a more conscientious individual. He is very kind and incredibly proficient. He has handled a number of dental needs for us, and I would recommend him to anyone.

Definitely the place to go but their independent (out of network) so dental insurance reimbursements are typically lower. Qualify dental care and great staff!

Dr Chumbley has a great demeanor and excellent bedside manor. The hygienist was awesome and the office staff handled everything well. I have never been to a dentist office that feels less like a medical office than here. 6 stars?

Friendly staff, feels like family when you walk inside (front desk knows patients by name). Had a great cleaning by Nilofar and Dr. Hill. I trust this team with my smile! Great location and overall experience.
