The Heights Dental Clinic has been providing dental care to the heights community and all of Little Rock for over 60 years. Dr. Christopher Houk is thankful to carry on the legacy of both Dr. Don Downs and Dr. Tom Smith and to continue to provide patients with excellent dental care.
Located in a historic renovated home, The Heights Dental Clinic provides a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that our patients appreciate. We truly are a patient centered dental practice and we hope you feel that during your visit. We treat each patient like family and look forward to meeting you!
Dr. Houk is a graduate of the University of Tennessee Dental school where he received the John T. Camp Scholarship for scholastic ability. He is a Little Rock native and a proud graduate of the University of Central Arkansas where he played baseball. As your dentist, Dr. Houk is committed to compassionate dentistry with a gentle touch. Dr. Houk enjoys baseball, live music, and anything involving the outdoors. He and his wife have two young boys.

The best time to prevent tooth decay is before it starts, and one of the best tools to do this are dental sealants. Sealants help prevent tooth decay filling in the grooves on the chewing surface of teeth. This prevents bacteria from living in the grooves and greatly reduces the risk of tooth decay on the sealed surface of the tooth. Sealants can be especially helpful for kids as they continue to improve oral care habits.

Dr Houk has a plan and executes it professionally. He lets you know what he's doing as he moves through the process so you aren't surprised by an air blast or cold water tinge Very professional and competent. I recommend him highly.
