Dr. Jeffrey Gross is the owner ofThe Healthy Smile Dental Centerand oversees its dental team. Dr. Gross is a graduate of theCase Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. He graduated early and at the top of his class completing an accelerated dental program. After achieving over 300 hours of surgical training and graduating, he opened his first practice in Eastlake, Ohio. He now possesses more than 40 years of experience handling general andcosmetic dentistryalong with some modern specialties.
Dr. Gross has also been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) meaning he has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader who exemplifies the importance of quality continuing dental education.To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.
Dr. Gross experience with surgical training inimplant dentistrymakes him one of only a few general dentists in the United States who is qualified to perform this type of surgery instead of referring their patients to someone else.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Gross is a prolific speaker and thought leader on dental issues and oral health. He has given talks before many different audiences on topics ranging from bone grafting and implantology to more personal topics such as dealing with difficult patients. While he now spends more time at his practice than touring talk circuits, he continues to keep up with the latest developments in modern dentistry.
Dr. Gross teaches part-time in the graduate periodontal program at theCase Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of theAmerican Dental Association, theNortheast Ohio Dental Association, theOhio Dental Association, theAmerican Academy of Implant Dentistryand theAcademy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Gross resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with his wife and their lovely pets. He has four grown children and eleven grandchildren. Awesome dentist, fairly priced, great work and fast. Took the time to talk over all the costs and options with paying out of pocket and was still extremely reasonable and professional during the entire visit. Definitely found my new family dentist, after my old family dentist retired.

Made a appointment online several days in advance. I called the day before and about 2 hours before closing because I hadn't heard if it was confirmed. I was told the Dr wouldn't be able to see me because he had to many ppl and that they meant to give me a call. The receptionist preceded to ask me what i wanted done and then begin to lecture me on what I should have done with my teeth and why I didn't do this are do that. This person was not a dentist and I feel that I didn't need someone answering the phone to advise me on my dental needs. She basically told me she didn't know when the doctor could see me and continued on with her lecture. After that she told me she would go online and cancel my appointment and never made a effort to ask me if I'd like to perhaps make another one are anything. But once again before I decided to just find someone else she lectured me more. I just wanted 1 tooth treated and to not feel like I was a bother for trying to make a appointment with what I heard was a great dentist. I never got the chance to find out because the person answering the phone decided she was going to be the dentist for the day and that I wasn't welcomed.

I've been going to the Healthy Smile for years. I had to get a root canal and crown on my front tooth. Dr. Gross referred me to a laboratory to get a color match for the crown considering it was my front tooth So pleased with the result! You can't even tell I have a crown!

10:00 a:m Thursday I called doctor Gross about pain in my upper jaw/teeth. They asked if I could come at noon that same day. After taking x-rays it was determined I needed a root canal. Doctor Gross paused a moment and said "let's do it right now". When he told me I didn't need any anesthesia I panicked. But he reassured me there would be no pain because it was a dead tooth. He was right and in about 20 minutes he was all done. Great job. Highly recommended

Awesome dentist. Wonderful staff. Great environment. I've never had such a good time getting dental work done. I've been here twice now but the staff makes me feel like I've known them for years. If you're looking for a dentist and want to have a good laugh then this is the place for you! Flawless dental work. Highly recommend.

Great experience and am so glad I called this office. Saw me quickly when I was in a lot of pain. I had needed extensive dental work for some time, and Dr. Gross did the work and did an excellent job. Both Dr. Gross + Staff were great and very accommodating, even through the pandemic. Enjoying my new smile!

This is the best dentist I have EVER been to. The office staff is wonderful. Dr. Gross and the staff are so patient with my bad gag reflex. He is the only dentist that can get a dental impression without me getting sick. Pricing is reasonable and they go above and beyond to try and help and make things work for you. If you need a new dentist. This is the place!
