Dr. Jeffrey Gross is the owner ofThe Healthy Smile Dental Center and oversees its dental team. He performs all of the important dental procedures here at the center and takes an active interest in making the office and its staff as friendly and helpful as possible for our valued clients. Dr. Gross is a graduate of theCase Western Reserve University School of Dentistry. He graduated early and at the top of his class completing an accelerated dental program. After achieving over 300 hours of surgical training and graduating, he opened his first practice in Eastlake, Ohio. He now possesses more than 40 years of experience handling general andcosmetic dentistryalong with some modern specialties.
Dr. Gross has also been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) meaning he has been recognized by other general dentists as a leader who exemplifies the importance of quality continuing dental education.To earn the FAGD, a dentist must complete a minimum of 500 continuing dental education credit hours, pass a comprehensive exam and have been an AGD member for three continuous years.
Dr. Gross experience with surgical training inimplant dentistrymakes him one of only a few general dentists in the United States who is qualified to perform this type of surgery instead of referring their patients to someone else.
In addition to his practice, Dr. Gross is a prolific speaker and thought leader on dental issues and oral health. He has given talks before many different audiences on topics ranging from bone grafting and implantology to more personal topics such as dealing with difficult patients. While he now spends more time at his practice than touring talk circuits, he continues to keep up with the latest developments in modern dentistry.
Dr. Gross teaches part-time in the graduate periodontal program at theCase Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of theAmerican Dental Association, theNortheast Ohio Dental Association, theOhio Dental Association, theAmerican Academy of Implant Dentistryand theAcademy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Gross resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio with his wife and their lovely pets. He has four grown children and eleven grandchildren. Dr. Louis Malcmacher maintains a general and cosmetic dental practice in Bay Village, Ohio and has been a practicing dentist since his graduation from Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry in 1981. He earned Mastership status in the prestigious Academy of General Dentistry, an achievement that is attained by less than 1% of dentists. In an effort to provide his patients with cutting edge cosmetic dentistry,Dr. Malcmacher has completed more than 3,500 hours in the past five years of continuing education in the area of cosmetic dental services, crown and bridge dentistry, and dental surgery.
In addition to his dental practice, Dr. Malcmacher is an internationally renowned dental lecturer and author, offering lectures to more than 10,000 dental professionals each year. He teaches techniques in advanced cosmetic dentistry including no reduction Lumineers, Cristal Veneers, Botox, and Juvederm. He works closely with dental manufacturers as a consultant and clinical researcher in developing new products and techniques. He has spoken all over the world educating dentists on how to better treat their patients.

Joyce has been our office manager for 25+ years. She welcomes everyone into The Healthy Smile family. With her knowledge, Joyce will help you maximize your dental benefits and thoroughly explain every treatment plan. When she is not at the office, Joyce treasures her time spent with her nine grandchildren.
Doreen has been our dental assistant for 15+ years. Her nurturing and caring style puts every patient at ease, no matter what the dental procedure might be. Doreen is all about spending her free time with her family.

Dr. Gross and the entire staff were and have been absolutely amazing. I needed a root canal and in the past they have been awful and I came to the The Healthy Smile hoping for a better experience after reading the positive reviews. Dr. Gross and Doreen ensured that I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. The compassion and empathy shown to me was incredible as well. Being an RN the patient experience is a priority to me and I would highly recommend Dr. Gross and everyone at The Healthy Smile! Thank you!

I recently had implant surgery for a molar on the top. I was nervous for the procedure. I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it was. My mouth was numbed on that side. Dr. Gross said he didn't have to cut into my mouth because of the use of their 3D imaging. Dr. Gross was able to see exactly where he wanted to place the implant. So 12 minutes later the fixture was in place. I was given an x-ray to check the placement. It was perfectly in place and I was done with the first step. I took Advil twice that evening. That was it! It went so smooth, much easier than I had anticipated.

Joyce, the front desk manager is amazing, thorough and has excellent follow through!!! Tina, best hygienist, very meticulous!! You can be assessed and fitted for Invisalign here for a fraction of the cost compared to an orthodontist, with a dentist who has over 15 years experience in fitting Invisalign and 40 years as a dentist!! If you mail order, I believe the results aren't the same because dentist & orthodontists apply "dots" for precise pressure and proper movement and alignment. Karen

Dr. Jeffrey Gross and his staff are amazing. I had major concerns with my smile an unsure the best way for me to go about getting it fixed. They came up with the best plan for me that I was able to afford with my insurance. They also offer CareCredit just in case you need a little more help. Thank you to all my new best friends! I'm not very fond of going to the dentist. From the second I walked in to the second I left was nothing but good things. I felt very comfortable! I had a root canal done within 40 minutes and it went so smooth. I felt no pain or discomfort. I highly recommend The Healthy Smile!! Awesome staff and awesome work!

I was confident I was in good hands to have a dental implant procedure done at The Healthy Smile. Dr. Gross has many years of experience & teaches the procedure at Case Western Dental School & lectures on the subject. His experience made a difference in how well the dental implant procedure went. I am very satisfied with how my tooth looks! His staff was very helpful as well.
