We were on vacation when my husband had a problem with pain in a tooth. We contacted Danbury Center for Endodontics while driving back from vacation and they were extremely helpful in scheduling an appointment for us as soon as we good get there. They were wonderful and I would highly recommend them!

I unfortunately needed a root canal. Dr. Mascia was referred to me. I was a little apprehensive, not really fond of dentists in general. He was terrific! Nice chair side manner, affable, didn't feel like he was rushing through my procedure. No tooth pain afterward. Would definitely recommend Dr. Mascia.

This is an excellent, caring and unusually well run office. Dr. Masha is a wonderful Dr. I felt that I was in such competent and caring hands, everyone in the office is top of the line!

Dr. Mascia has performed several dental procedures for me, and I feel confident in recommending him. He is the consummate professional and his work is impeccable. He is also a throughly decent person who immediately puts the patient at ease. I have never felt any pain, have always known what was going to happen, and had all my questions answered. His office staff are friendly and welcoming and the office is immaculate. I am pleased to recommend him without reservation.

Just completed a root canal with Dr Mascia and his assistant Monica. Both are wonderful, compassionate and professional to the nth degree. The facility is operated with a team that seems superbly trained and very thorough in their approach. Highly recommended.

Dr Mascia and staff are very professional and work to high standards. Minus the sound of the drill I could not believe how smooth and easy having a root canal could be!! Like I did not mind at all.

Dr Mascia took excellent care of me. I felt totally comfortable with him and his staff, even to the point of me calling him "painless".He is very professsional and empathetic. I would not hesitate to recommend him for any service.

Highly intelligent, friendly and understanding staff. All three doctors, front desk staff, and dental assistants are incredible. It's rare to find an office like this! If you need a root canal, this is the place!!

I am very nervous at any dentist. Monica and Dr Mascia were extremely kind and understanding and I had no pain at all with the root canal procedure.

I have been experiencing issues with my teeth across the past couple of years, to include two extractions and more dentist visits than I can remember; consequently, I have developed a strong aversion to having work done in my mouth. I was looking at a possible third extraction or root canal and opted for the later. I contacted The Greater Danbury Center For Endodontics and was surprised that they were able to book my procedure the same day. Their office is clean and organized, and they have very stringent COVID 19 procedures in place. The environment is pleasant and the staff are warm and friendly. There were many aspects of my root canal experience that put me at ease, not the least of which is the work performed by Dr Ruchika Joon. I would classify her more as an artist due to the fact that, at no time, did I experience even the slightest pain or discomfort. After returning home, I kept waiting for the anesthetic to wear off and for the pain to kick in... but there was only some mild soreness. If you are in the market for this type of work, there's no need to shop around. Just go here; you'll be glad you did.

I was getting some work done at this place and the assistant that was assisting me and Candace no I overheard her talking to another assistant about her selling her oxycodone prescription pills.... This is not what I wanted to hear when I come. I'm a place.... I was very unhappy with my visit. Knowing the world will live with all addictions it's not okay for a worker to Represent a work place and be talking so freely of pill dealer.... Very unhappy

I had my first root canal done by Dr. Mascia over 10 years ago and found the name of the procedure the worst part of it. I have had no problem with that tooth and no memory of any pain. I had my second one done over 2 appointments in the past 3 weeks. Again, no pain involved except perhaps the shots of novocaine, which were injected into areas already numbed by lidocaine. The worst part of the procedure is keeping your mouth open so long. The staff is the most professional around, helping with appointments and information. I had to change after taking a lot of time to set up the appointments and Hanna was very understanding. Everyone behind the front desk is the same way. Dr. Mascia is clear and attentive, walking you through what he is doing. There is a calm about him and his assistant, Amy, that helps the patient manage any worry. (Try not to look at all the instruments they have set up as that is a bit scary.) The office is modern and Covid compliant and the rooms are bright with views out windows. I live in NYC and can't imagine ever going anywhere else. I would be delighted to never have another root canal in my life, but if I have to, I'll be fine here!

Yes, the dumpster fire that was 2020 ended with my first root canal. I was terrified and have heard horror stories about other procedures which were the stuff of nightmares. However, after being recommended by my fabulous dentist, Dr. Waldron, I was surprised at the ease of the whole process, from the COVID cleanliness from the moment I stepped into the front office, to the helpful and professional nurses and assistants, and especially Dr. Mascia, who gave me enough pain meds that I was actually very relaxed during the during the procedures! For my second visit, there were no sweaty palms because, except for the novocaine, I knew there would be no pain. Yes, I highly recommend this office!!!!!

About 1 year ago, I went to Aspen Dental for what I thought was a cavity. It turned out it was a root canal. They performed the root canal procedure but it was incomplete and poorly done (stay away from them). The same tooth started hurting again, I rushed to another Dentist, Dr. Michael Pizzo from Ridgefield, CT, who looked at it and referred me right away to a specialist, Dr. Philip R. Mascia (thank you Dr. Pizzo). 2 hours later I was at Dr. Mascia's chair on an emergency appointment. 30 minutes later, Dr. Mascia's and his Assistant (I forgot her name but she was amazing too) were done. I don't think I've ever experienced such a professionalism and sense of confidence sitting at a Dentist chair. There I was thinking, I am going to be in pain again suffering for 2 hours. Obviously, it is never convenient to be at the dentist, but I felt no pain this time and the coordination between Dr. Mascia and his Assistant, every few minutes checking how I was feeling was fantastic. Thank you Dr. Mascia ! You and your Assistant were amazing !

I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Mascia! I had a root canal last week and he was absolutely fantastic! He was so kind and gentle throughout the whole procedure. Most people are so scared to get root canals, however there was nothing scary at all about going to see Dr. Mascia. He is the best endodontist ever and I highly recommend anyone going to him for any endodontic work they may need. Thank you Dr. Mascia! Donna, his assistant was very comforting and I was glad she was there too.

I was referred to Dr. Mascia because I had a difficult tooth that needed a root canal. Let me start by saying he has wonderful professional staff that are welcoming and are there for you. You can tell this isn't just a job to them. His office is state of the art and clean. He is very good at what he does. He ensured I was comfortable during the whole procedure. He explained what he was doing so I knew things were going well and put my mind at ease. If you are looking for an Endodontist, this is the place to go!
