Dr. Yasmin Chebbi graduated from Harvard School of Dental Medicine where she learned the value of total body care and caring for patients as an oral physician. Dr. Yasmin Chebbi is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor given to only 6% of US dentists for their commitment to learning and improving their knowledge in the field of dental medicine. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. The ABDSM is the leading national testing organization for dentists who treat snoring and obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. Earning Diplomate status from the ABDSM is a unique honor that recognizes special competency in dental sleep medicine.

He is a strong believer in the mouth-body connection and takes a thorough and holistic view of every patient before recommending the most optimal and customized oral health treatment plan.
He also has a passion for science and likes working with tools and high-tech gadgets (ask him about the cool start up he is working on!). Dr. Samaratunga graduated from the University of Pennsylvania before earning his dental degree at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Even though he has been out of school for a long time, his education never truly stops, as to date, he has completed hundreds of advanced training in all fields of dentistry and is SMART certified for the safe removal of amalgam fillings.
Dr. Dimitri is also a member of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology, the leaders of science-based biological dentistry. Originally from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and a health enthusiast, Dr. Samaratunga tries to hike at least five miles every single day (weather permitting) because he says being in nature is the best way for him to relax and destress. He is also an avid reader, with his favorite genres being sci-fi and fantasy.

Today was the one and only time I felt happy after leaving a dentist. My past experience was one that truly traumatized me and I was hesitant on returning to any dentist. Today changed that. Eni was an amazing hygenist with so much patience and compassion. She took the time to do her job well and was over the top kind and understanding of my fear. Dr Eng is the sweetest dentist and very thorough. She answered all my questions. From the moment she entered the room she made me feel comfortable and confident in her care. This was an amazing experience. Not once did I feel as though my questions were a nuisance or that I had no input into my care. The front desk was so warm and welcoming. The office is immaculate and welcoming. This really is a different experience and I am so glad I found The Flossery ! Don't hesitate to try them-you will not regret it !

I had my first appointment the other day and had a very enjoyable experience. The teeth polishing process was much more enjoyable than other places I've been to!... and they give you a warm towel for your face at the end! 10/10 experience

Amazing staff. My kids passed at this dentist and they received a bag with some cleaning items. For kids the insurance company covered everything. Hope to see you guys again in 6 months

Good morning all, Has anyone had an issue getting a call back from there folks? I have left three messages over the last 2 weeks and have received zero response. I had to select a star so I chose one. I think responsiveness is part of service...this should not be reflective of the dentistry as I have no idea what kind of dentist this might be...lol.

I was interested in a different take on my complicated dental situation, one from a Functional/Integrative/Holistic point of view. I thought their advice was great. It confirmed some things I already knew and provided some ideas about my dental care going forward. Dr. Dimitri Samaratunga was my provider. Also, another Flossery dentist, Yasmin N. Chebbi, DMD published a book, "Eat, Sleep, Breathe Oral Health: Why your Mouth Matters", that I purchased and have read. I've learned much about dentistry and oral health from it.

I had my first appointment at The Flossery on March 16th, and I loved my experience! Their website is user-friendly; the administrative staff is responsive and helpful during correspondence, there's plenty of parking on site, and the check-in process was quick. I was taken in for my appointment by a dental assistant named Yang, who was wonderful the entire visit. She explained, however, that the office was no longer going to be accepting MassHealth after this month (the front desk had also mentioned this to me.) Yang then asked me if I wanted to stay for the appointment, even though I wouldn't be able to book visit beyond this month with my insurance...and I wasn't sure what to do, so we both differed to the doctor's opinion. The dentist seeing me that day was Dimitri, who said he'd still like to keep the appointment with me (which was a strong sign to me that this staff is committed to the patients.) I expected them to want to cancel, knowing ahead of time I wouldn't have a valid insurance coverage...but I was happily wrong. My entire appointment was amazing--Yang was the fastest x-ray technician I've ever seen, she was very gentle, accommodating, and kind. Dr. Dimitri was just phenomenal--he was informative, genuine, and passionate. He also took some extra time to correct a couple imperfections on my front teeth from dental work years ago...and I cannot even explain how grateful I am. He did not have to take the time to do that and even though he said it was a simple fix, for me, it was immense. After he showed me my new smile, I teared up like a total goober, and they both wished me a "Happy early birthday," as they knew I was turning 35 two days later. What an incredible gift and gesture! Upon checking-out, the front desk shared their numerous options for staying with The Flossery without using MassHealth. They offer affordable membership plans, payment plans, CareCredit, etc. So, I will be staying as a patient with them using one of their other options, because I don't think there's a better dental experience than theirs. Thank you to the team!

My little girl and I went within a month to see the Dr and I can't say enough about how we were treated. She was Kind, and caring. It's hard to find. Great Holistic dentist so I'd recommend the place.

I've been meaning to post this review for a while. This is the best dentist I've ever been to (so was planning on giving 5 stars for that) and I was SO pleased to find a functional dentist who accepted Mass Health (rare for functional dentistry). I've spread the word about how wonderful this practice is and was planning on bringing my whole family which would be 4 patients total. My rating changed though to 2 stars because I called to schedule my filling (I'm an established patient) but the owner decided to no longer accept Mass Health. This cuts me and so many off from functional dentristry which is so important but I can't pay out of pocket and it essentially means myself and so many others no longer have access to functional dentistry. I cannot find any other functional dentist that accepts it. I'm so disappointed especially for a practice that is so kind and inclusive
