Our goal is to provide each patient with outstanding service and treatment, from the initial office visit through every professional recare visit. We take enormous pride in the quality of dental care and attention given to the comfort and well-being of every patient.
Raised in Indiana, Dr. Tim Hoftiezer is proud to be part of the Hoosier state and improving the dental health of its citizens. Dr. Hoftiezer and his wife, Donna, have been married for 21 years and have three children (ages 18, 15, 13).
After graduating from Wabash College, Dr. Hoftiezer went onto Indiana University School of Dentistry, receiving a D.D.S. with honors. He holds many certificates in advance training, including orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, and implant placement and restoring.

I love Dr. Tim and all the staff. I was previously seeing a different dentist in the area and came to see Dr. Tim about an implant. Immediately after visiting doctor Tim's office and feeling more welcomed than at any dentist office, I knew I had to make the switch. Dr. Tim addresses all my concerns and communicates wonderfully. Him and his staff genuinely care about patients and their health. I have been coming to this office since 2015 and every single time the care and attention is the same.

Seriously the best dentist I've ever been too! I just finished my first root canal and it was such a positive experience. Dr. Hoftiezer and his team are compassionate and caring, you can really tell they love what they do.

I had the same dentist since I was 16, and I am now 55. I was sad when he retired 2 years ago, as I never thought I would find another office a great as his. Well, to my surprise, the Extra Smile, Doctor Tim and his whole staff are actually better! My wife and two daughters agree. They are so customer service oriented and really care for their patients. I would recommend to everyone!

We all know the dentist isn't the most exciting place to be but everyone at The Extra Smile are so kind and welcoming. During your visit they make sure you are comfortable and they walk you through the entire service. I highly recommend coming here for all your dental needs it is by far the best experience I have had!

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They took me back right on time without having to wait. They were very thorough and helpful. Emily did a great job with my cleaning, too. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I highly recommend Dr. Timothy Hoftiezer, DDS office. He and his team give you a wonderful service all way around, and they especially make you feel safe and comfortable as you sit nervous. They explain everything to you. As I moved from out of state I'm so happy I found someone I trust and they make me feel good.

Dr Hoftiezer and his staff are the best of the best! They have been our kids and family dentist for over 20 years. Recently I had a cracked tooth. Doctor returned my call on a weekend! Unheard of in today's world!! They kindly worked with us due to the cost involved in crowning, not to mention they are miracle workers in eliminating the pain, and they made the procedure seem no different than a teeth cleaning! We recently lost our oldest son, and their thoughts and prayers and love were all heart felt. Dr. Heftiezer and his staff really care about their patients. You will be in great hands with these beautiful professional people!! Many many thanks!!

I am not one to leave reviews, but The Extra Smile is deserving; the 100+ other positive remarks echo my same sentiment. Not many can say their dentist is an extraordinary place, but this place has earned this descriptor. The operations are efficient and timely, but each person possesses a charisma of genuineness directed toward others' care. The facility is immaculate, and from an outsider's perspective, the dental tools & technology are cutting edge. Dr. Hoftiezer is a wonderful individual who is relatable and professional, but I would be remiss if I did not state that the entire team collectively is superb. I cannot say enough great things about this practice.
