I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and give you an idea about where Im from and what Ive done. Being from an Air Force family, Ive lived many different places, but I consider Colorado Springs to be my home. After graduatingfrom Rampart High School in 1993, I began my undergraduate education at Southern Illinois University (SIU). I studied at SIU for the next seven years until I completed my dental education in the summer of 2000. Upon graduation, my husband and I moved back to Colorado Springs to start my dental career.

I am excited to be practicing downtown. I hope that it will make going to the dentist much more convenient for those around the area. I promise to provide high-quality care with your best interests in mind. I will always give you an honest appraisal of your dental health and will work with you to develop a treatment plan that is both comprehensive and cost effective.

Doctor Rodolfo Burgos was born in Cuba but has lived most of his life in South Florida. He was raised under a dental family; his dad was a dentist and his mom worked as front desk in a dental office all her life. Before Rodolfo could crawl, he had an interest in teeth. In 2008, he graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated at the top of his class in clinical skills. He moved back to Florida where he practiced and owned his own dental office for 8 years until he visited Colorado and fell in love with its mountains and people. In 2017, he sold his office in Florida and moved to Colorado Springs with his wife and three kids. Dr. Burgos has experience in full-mouth reconstruction cases, anxious patients, and patients with mental and physical disabilities. You may have seen Rodolfo on American Ninja Warrior (The Ninja Dentist) and during his free time, you can find him on top of a mountain. His work philosophy is to do on to others as you would do for you and your family, so he treats EVERYBODY as if they were family.

Melissa is from Pueblo where she currently resides. She obtained an associates in Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2004 at Pueblo Community College. Melissa truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She especially feels accomplished when she can work with people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and make them happy to be receiving care. Melissa has been with the Downtown Dentist family since 2015. Melissa is married with three children. Her children are very active in wrestling. Most weekends you can find her cheering mat-side. She loves camping and spending time with her family.

Amantha Wallace is originally from Augusta, Georgia. She grew up as an Army brat, making her way to Colorado Springs about 5 years ago. Amantha graduated from Mesa Ridge High School. After high school, Amantha attended PIMA Medical Institute and completed her externship at The Downtown Dentist in August 2018. On her free time, Amantha enjoys spending time with her family and traveling with her boyfriend.

Bernadine was born and raised in San Bernadino, California and moved to Colorado in 1995. She started her career in dentistry at Concorde Career College in Denver back in 1998. In 2001, she attended the CU Health Science Center to become a Certified Expanded Duties dental assistant, which allows her to contribute more to a patients dental care. To this day, she still loves what shes doing and has the same passion and drive to offer the best care possible to patients. She has been part of The Downtown Dentist team for almost 7 years. She says that this isnt just a job for her, its a second home, and she strives to make everyone that walks through the door feel as if theyre at home and as comfortable as possible. She loves the patients and the relationship that shes built with them over the years. When shes not at work, shes at home enjoying family time with her 2 kids and 4 fur babies.

Luis was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and raised in Puerto Rico as a child then spent most of his life In Springfield, Massachusetts. Luis graduated from the High School of Commerce and attended Springfield Technical Community College. Luis has worked in the medical and dental field before moving to Colorado. He loves spending time with his family and friends and is a new grandpa. On his time off he likes to work on cars or do projects, ride motorcycle, fishing and just enjoying nature and relaxing. He loves to work at the Downtown Dentist it has a pleasant atmosphere and good vibe, he always looks forward to going to work.

BreAnna just moved from the Denver area and has been working for The Downtown since October 2019. She is an Air Force Veteran and served 4 years in active duty while she found her passion for dentistry as a certified Dental Assistant. She continued her education at Concorde Career College in Aurora where she earned an associates degree in Dental Hygiene in March of 2019. BreAnna enjoys spending time in the outdoors with her fianc and her dogs. Her goal as a hygienist is to optimize the publics oral health with the prevention of dental-related diseases by building relationships and trust. She might just try to make you smile too.

Julez is the receptionist at The Downtown Dentist. Shes a Colorado native that graduated from Fountain Fort Carson High School. After graduation, she became a patient ambassador at Memorial Central and has furthered her passion for collaborating with others and communicating with patients. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her daughter and son.
