Dr. Tom grew up in Cudahy, Wisconsin and graduated with honors from Cudahy High School in 1976. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee in 1980 before earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 1984. Dr. Tom immediately went into practice with his older brother, Frank, who passed away in 1998.
Dr. Tom is an active member of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA)and theAmerican Dental Association (ADA).He is a founding member of theTrinity Study Club and the Milwaukee Chapter of the Seattle Study Club - both cutting-edge continuing education programs for dental professionals.
Dr. Tom and his wife Chris have three children and live in Franklin. They like to spend time at their cabin in Rhinelander as often as they can; you'll see a few lake photos around the office. Dr. Tom stays active by playing racquetball in several weekly leagues, golfing, hunting and fishing. He was active in high school and college swimming and he coached age-group swim for over 12 years. He enjoys helping out at his church festival and monthly fish frys.
Milwaukee area native, Dr. Christian graduated from Thomas More high school in 1998. He then entered the pre-dental program at the University of Milwaukee where he received his Bachelor of Science in biology in 2002. In 2007, He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Marquette University School of Dentistry.Dr. Christian started out as an assistant for his Uncle, Dr. Tom, before joining The Dentists South Shore.
He is a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), American Dental Association (ADA), He is a member of the Trinity Study Club, Seattle Study Club and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS).
With interest in aesthetic dentistry, he presented frequently at Marquette where he was an active member of the American Student Dental Association. In 2007, Dr. Christian was honored with the Community Dentistry and Dental Public Health Award by the American Association of Public Health Dentistry and Marquette University for his interest and outstanding achievement in dental public health.
To help remind children of the importance of early preventative care for long-lasting oral health, Dr. Christian speaks at local schools and volunteers for the Smiles for Kids program at Marquette. As a volunteer at the Southern Wisconsin Center where, he provides dental care to special needs patients. Recently retired, Dr. Christian held the rank of 2nd Lieutenant while he was assigned to the Madison Medical Detachment unit of the Army National Guard.
Dr. Christian and his wife, Kate live in Brookfield with their three children and two dogs. As an avid outdoorsman, Dr. Christian finds some spare time for fishing and basketball, as well as playing piano and painting.
Dr. Mike graduated from Homestead High School in 2007, and went on to receive his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Loyola University Chicago. Dr. Mike then graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree (DMD). Upon graduation from UIC, he decided to return to Milwaukee to provide state of the art dental care for his hometown and neighboring areas.
Dr Mike can offer a wide range of treatment options such as fillings, extractions, clear orthodontic aligners using Clear Correct, implants for missing teeth, sedation for patients with anxiety, and treatment options for sleep apnea and snoring.
Dr. Mike is an engaging, passionate, and motivated dentist. To continue his pursuit in organized dentistry and desire to stay current with the always-evolving dental world, he is involved in the American Dental Association (ADA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA). He is also a member of the Trinity Study Club, Seattle Study Club, the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS), and the American Association of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM).
Dr. Mike has a passion for treating patients with sleep breathing disorders and getting the treatment they deserve. Renewing and preserving patients health through effective sleep apnea and snoring treatment is one of the greatest benefits of his practice.
