Many of our dentists are members of prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Years of experience and continuing education allow our team to keep up with the modern methods and technologies used to treat oral health issues. Taking a precise yet comprehensive approach to dental care allows our patients to receive the best results possible. Our dental office also uses digital dental technology so we can accurately diagnose and treat a wide array of oral health problems. We use digital x-rays to view the structure of the teeth and gums and find areas of damage, infection, or loss.

The dental professionals at The Dentists of Newtown are committed to providing services to fit their patients needs. Let our office know if you have any current dental concerns that require immediate care, and we will be glad to help. Some of the most modern and complex treatments we provide that are beneficial to restoring and improving the appearance of the smile include:

Dental implants are restorations used to replace single missing teeth or support dental bridges or dentures. An implant consists of a titanium post, connecting abutment, and a dental crown. When a dental implant is surgically inserted in the mouth, it is placed in the jawbone. The titanium implant fuses with the jawbone over time to create a foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture.

Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment that can straighten teeth using a series of clear aligners. Patients with mild to moderately crooked or misaligned teeth benefit from these discreet, invisible aligners. because Invisalign aligners are removable, they offer multiple benefits over traditional orthodontic treatments. Patients can remove their aligners to eat the foods they love without restrictions. Invisalign patients can also easily brush and floss their teeth and gums.

With a professional oral surgeon on staff, our dental office is able to provide a variety of important treatments to our patients. Some of the most common surgical oral treatments include tooth extractions, dental implantation, and grafting. We use a local anesthetic and sedation to ensure that all of our patients feel relaxed and comfortable. Under sedation, patients will not remember their dental procedure; time will pass quickly and comfortably.

Gum disease is a common yet highly damaging oral health issue. For patients with gum inflammation, which is a precursor to gum disease, we provide scaling and root planing. These treatments are used in tandem to remove plaque and tartar from below the gums and on the tooth roots. Patients who have gum recession as a result of periodontitis benefit from gum grafting. Gum grafting takes healthy tissue from one area of the mouth and places it where it is needed.
