Our office is located at 831 Vermont Street in Lawrence, KS, next door to Freedoms Frontier National Heritage Area, eXplore Lawrence and the Carnegie Building which houses the Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Dr. Brian Wilkerson is a Kansas native, born and raised in Overland Park. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Kansas in 1982 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1986.
In 1989, Dr. Wilkerson became a partner with retired founder Dr. Jerry Nossaman. Through his professional memberships in the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association, Dr. Wilkerson keeps abreast of the latest developments in the field of dentistry.
He enjoys golfing with friends and his wife, Joni, rooting for Kansas University athletics, cooking (eating!), and visiting his children, Tyler in Kansas City, Jon in Seattle, Brian Jr. in Minneapolis, Alissa and her husband Tony in Minneapolis, and Mallory in San Francisco.
Her father, a 1965 graduate of the University of Nebraska's College of Dentistry, practiced in Karachi, Pakistan, at the Karachi Seventh-day Adventist Hospital for six years. As a young girl, Dr. Saunders traveled with her father's dental team to remote villages to serve those who were in great need of dental care. She and her family also spent many years in Okinawa, Japan, and Hong Kong. Dr. Saunders attended high school in Singapore and returned to the United States in 1984 to attend college.
In 1992, Dr. Saunders received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She joined Dr. Wilkerson and Dr. Nossaman in 1997 and became a partner with Dr. Wilkerson and Dr. Anderson in 2001.
Dr. Justin Anderson was born in Topeka, Kansas, and raised in Los Angeles, California. He returned to Kansas to attend the University of Kansas and graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1995. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University Dental School.
An active participant in the Lawrence community, Dr. Anderson has been involved with many organizations including as a member of the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Endowment Board, the Bert Nash Mental Health Center Board, the Great American Bank Board, the Bill Self Boy Scout Golf Classic Board, VanGo Arts, Inc., and the Corpus Christi Catholic School Council. His professional affiliations include memberships in the American Dental Association, the Kansas Dental Association, and the Academy of Sports Dentistry.
Dr. Anderson enjoys traveling, watching Kansas University athletics, and coaching athletic teams and acting as Boy Scout leader for his sons Troop. He lives in Lawrence with his wife, Jean, and their two boys, Jack and Joshua.
Dr. Nellor grew up in Baldwin City, Kansas, and received her undergraduate degree in business administration from MidAmerican Nazarene University and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. She completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency through the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Dr. Nellor is a member of the American Dental Association and the Kansas Dental Association. She currently is involved with the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, the United Way of Lawrence, and enjoys volunteering at her church.
Dr. Daifallah received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He currently serves as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine and Dentistry and is involved in the clinical and academic instruction of oral and maxillofacial surgery residents and students. Dr. Daifallah is working towards Fellowship in Facial Cosmetic Surgery at Kansas City Surgical Arts Center.
His skill and dedication to his profession have awarded him with multiple honors and awards, and his clinical excellence has distinguished him among his peers. Dr. Daifallah has a high interest in clinical research. He has lectured internationally and has co-authored book chapters on topics related to craniofacial surgery. Dr. Daifallah is board eligible and is preparing to become board-certified through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Drs. Wilkerson, Saunders, Anderson and Nellor, and the staff of The Dentists in Lawrence, are especially interested in making all patients feel right at home! I highly recommend Dr. Nellor for all ages! My daughter, who is 11, had a tooth bothering her and Dr. Nellor got her in quickly and made her feel very comfortable during the whole process. She was able to pull the tooth that same day with no pain issues and a very quick recovery. We had a great experience! If you have kids in need of dental care Dr. Nellor would be my #1 choice!

Dr. Nellor was wonderful. I had to have a root canal. Dr. Nellor and her assistant were hands down the best I've ever had doing dental work on me. I didn't fell any pain during or after. 5 stars gals.

I was a patient here for a few years and the hygiene staff is incredibly friendly and I always enjoyed my experience (as much as possible in a dentists office haha!) However, after having a cavity filled, I had to return twice for them to refill it, and then ended up having to switch dentists. My original dentist, Dr. Nellor, redid it once. It was still painful and I asked for a different dentist and Dr. Anderson then redid it again. After them filling the cavity three times, and going back for additional adjustments, I still had discomfort with the filling and ended up going to another dentist where they corrected the problem the first time, informing me that Dentists in Lawrence had not fully removed the cavity prior to filling it.

I ignored my need for seeing the dentist for too long. I mean, is it fun? And it's costly. However, my experience this week at this place made me realize I'd made a good decision making my appointment. Dr. Saunders and tech Tiffany (I hope I remembered that right) were fantastic!! I was able to get in easily, and the work was done efficiently, with my comfort a big consideration, and these two women were so professional and personable. I highly recommend them. It was a great experience!

If you have dental anxiety, definitely give this place a try. I do not have enough stars or good words to say about them. I went in there with an extreme phobia of the dentist that kept me from getting care for more than ten years. I had several panic attacks during my visits but was met with patience and kindness every time. Dr. Nellor and Whitney, the hygienist, are especially great and I am so thankful to have had my dental care done by them. The office staff are also so very patient. Everybody was thorough and willing to answer (and re-answer) all of my questions. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. My whole life changed for the better because of their patience and empathy.

Like many others, I have always been apprehensive about dental visits. I had a LOT of work that needed done, so when a friend referred me to this office, I gave Dr. Nellor a shot. She is incredibly caring and has the best bedside manner of any dentist I've ever seen. My hygienist, Jen, always makes you feel comfortable and you can tell she really loves her job. The entire team at this office is so friendly and beyond accommodating. They are all down to earth and just make the dentist experience something I actually look forward to now!

My hygienist, Jennifer, is always so friendly and calming! Dr. Nellor takes time to answer my questions and even worked with my previous dentist to get records to go forward with completing a dental procedure! Everyone in office is just beyond welcoming and and easy to chat with! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best dentist office in town, hands down! The staff is welcoming and inviting, and very knowledgeable. They work quick and efficient! I've always had anxiety when visiting the dentist but now that I've seen Jen and Dr. Nellor the last few years my worry has lessened. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
