As a dentist, Dr. Roberts is committed to providing patients with elite-level service based on his ever-expanding knowledge and experience of the mechanics, biology, and esthetics of the oral cavity and related anatomy. Dr. Roberts and The Dentistry team are here to provide a comfortable environment in which the patient has all required knowledge to make confident and informed decisions about their dental care. Our satisfaction comes from providing the highest quality product, care, and experience. We are guided by uncompromised ethics and morality, and we are rewarded by our unwavering commitment to improving the lives and well-being of everybody in our office, community, and world.

Dr. Roberts received his B.S in biology and B.S. in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2013. He graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN in 2020 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

He has had great experiences and practice with CAD/CAM dentistry, as well as with the evolution of digital technology and its evolving integration into modern dentistry. He is also a Member of the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Roberts loves being active outside and has spent many nights under the stars backpacking from the Appalachian Mountains to the sandbars of secluded streams. He has affinity for golf (sometimes), depending on how well he is hitting. As a child, he loved tinkering with Legos, and that passion has translated to building firearms as an adult. However, be mindful that he does not love buying ammo, although he is still a fan of Legos.

Dr. Roberts also considers himself a car enthusiast for many of the same reasons he loves dentistry. He enjoys spending an inordinate amount of time and patience tending the grill and indulging in Texas BBQ.

This office is NEVER open. I don't live far away, so when they billed me for a procedure for 2019 and I want to save a stamp and drove over to drop it off during business hours- SURPRISE! office is closed. Or if I need to get records from them for my current dentist, as I no longer go there because they are too expensive, guess what? Office is closed! The week between Christmas and New Years? Office is closed. This is when I was calling to see if they would take a specific dental insurance help pay for their exuberant prices That was the final straw. Turns out that when they did come back in after their holiday break, the insurance was not one they honored anyway, even though the dental insurance themselves claimed that the particular dentist I was seeing there was covered. I told the receptionist this, but she vehemently denied this up and down. So I was fed up and done. Ironically, I go to a dentist located across the parking lot in the Jonnett building who does take my insurance & is great.

Six months ago I set an appointment with the Dentistry of Monroeville for a routune cleaning at 6:00 pm this evening. In the interim, they merged offices with another practice in Monroeville. They were thorough in telling me of the merger and their new location. What they failed to tell me was that they no longer have hours past 4:00. I wasted several months waiting for this appointment when I could have been researching and scheduling with a new dentist. In my humble opinion the worst in customer service.

Great experience. I am a person that fears going to the dentist. They were very accommodating that I have a pleasant experience. They pulled three teeth and I did not feel a thing.

The Dentistry in Monroeville is fantastic! Not going to lie, the last time I was at the dentist for a teeth cleaning before going to the dentistry was over 10 years. I had a great fear of dentist. Not anymore! I just completed my second cleaning and already scheduled for my 3rd visit in July. My first time there I had Dr. Verner and was really informative. My second visit was with Dr. Roberts and I was real skeptical because it's only my second cleaning in a long time but he did really well. Also, hands off to the hygienists they have on staff there. They do great work and are very down to earth! I liked The Dentistry so much, that I went back for an orthodontic appointment about Invisalign. And of course this all couldn't be done without there wonderful front desk staff, Pam! She was able to explain payment options and how Invisalign payments work. Lastly, if you don't use dental insurance like me they have a great payment opportunity for cash patients. I highly recommend them for all dental work!

I went to this dentist office in January 2016 to have a tooth extracted. Initially, the procedure went very well, and I was very comfortable with how it was going. Then, when the tooth "let go," before the dentist was expecting it to, the steel pliers used to remove my tooth struck an upper tooth with a fairly moderate amount of force. The dentist performed a quick visual inspection of the tooth he hit, and determined that it was "OK." From January through May, my tooth went from fine, to having a cavity, to cracking off. When I went back to the dentistry to ask about getting it fixed, the dentist had already finished working and was walking out the door. (This was at 2:00pm) The hours were posted, so it is my fault I did not arrive earlier. When I went to the front desk to ask about my tooth, and to set up an appointment, they said they could fit me in on Monday morning, and that i should go straight to medexpress to get some antibiotics. So I did, thinking that I'd have a procedure done on Monday to fix my tooth, and didn't want it to be delayed because of an infection. So I went to medexpress and spent $250+ for the visit and some penicillin, took the pills, and was all ready to get my tooth fixed. I arrived Monday morning, was taken back to get my xrays done, and waited for the dentist to begin fixing me, as I was led to believe would happen. I told them I think my tooth was damaged when he hit it with the pliers and the hygienist went to convey that to the dentist. A few minutes later, the dentist walked into the room, glanced at the images, told me it was a cavity and it wasn't even remotely his fault that the tooth cracked and that I was responsible to get it fixed. I wasn't looking for a free ride, or even a discount at all, (although it would have been appreciated) I just expected some sort of acknowledgement that he played a role in the fracturing of my tooth. Even a quick "I'm very sorry about this" and I'd have been OK. His arrogant attitude towards me made me feel like I was some lowly peon, who could never be able to understand how a tooth gets damaged, and therefore shouldn't even raise any concerns to him that perhaps he may have had a hand in it. Then, without even looking in my mouth to try and see what could be done, told me I could schedule an appointment to get it fixed at the front desk! I was already there to get it fixed! I said fine, went up front and made sure I owed nothing and left. I have been telling everyone I can to avoid this place and, I will be going elsewhere for my root canal and crown. All I can say is this is how my experience had been, and, if any thing should make you feel like your tooth was damaged, make sure to get an x-ray immediately after it happens.

This has to be the worst Dentist office in the Pittsburgh area. I had an appointment on 02/18/21 in which I personally made calls to the office and my insurance to make sure that they where covered at 100%. Low and behold why did I just receive a bill for Out of Network services because they assigned me a non par provider. I have been trying, over and over to get in contact with someone for over a week and no one answers the phone. I will not be returning nor giving them a positive review and I damn for sure won't be giving them a recommendation! Take my work, the front end staff is clueless. They had the never to argue with me regarding my appointment time and my insurance coverage telling me I'm not who I am and referringto me as my daughter. Take my word and stay away from the Monroeville location.

The Dentistry Monroeville is very conscious in keeping their clients safe with regard to following Covid -19 safety practices and protocols. From the moment you come in everyone is cheerful and welcoming. I especially love Karen, hygienist who is professional and engaging, she did a marvelous job on my teeth. I so like Dr. Trenton whose bedside manner is just wonderful he has a way of making you feel comfortable and talk in language that one understands; he is mindful and professional. I would recommend the Dentistry Monroeville 100%. Thank you so much, really appreciate the care and service Joan Williams

~It was the first cleaning i had with stain left on my teeth ~They took around 15 xrays on my teeth and I have 24 teeth in my mouth ~Some xrays were overlapped which become non diagnosable xrays. ~I felt like I was her first patient that she ever cleaned teeth on ~The dentist wanted to restore non cavitated teeth such as the small part of erosion in the face side of my tooth that i told him didn't bother me and yet he still wanted to drill and fill them ~They just recently charged me 50

Dr Josh was the greatest and left, then we had Dr Miller and she left. We always paid up front for services before we had them done and now we are getting bills from 2019???? What is going on there???? They are re-billing our insurance for services. Not sure what's going on but I'm OUT! Not good practice for sure!!!!!!

Believe all of the 5 star reviews! I love and highly recommend The Dentistry in Monroeville . I have only been there once so far, but it was such a friendly, warm, comfortable dental experience from beginning to end with its inviting, softly-lit waiting room with plush seating and glowing fireplace to the sweet, ever-smiling , and very accommodating receptionist and nice, easy-going dental assistant to the really gentle, bubbly hygienist who gave the best/easiest cleaning I ever had! They were a great team! But a special shout-out, of course, needs to go to the dentist herself: Dr. Katherine Miller! I absolutely love her! She is so kind, caring, down-to-earth, and easy-to-talk to. She is also very positive, non-judge-mental, and encouraging about any special issues you may be having and will offer specialist referrals and help coordinate care! She is wonderful! I chose this dental practice because of all of the great reviews, and I agree with them completely. They are well-deserved!

My daughter goes to the Dentistry in Monroeville. They are great, she doesn't like the dentist at all. She is comfortable with the Orthodontist there.
