As a dentist, Dr. Roberts is committed to providing patients with elite-level service based on his ever-expanding knowledge and experience of the mechanics, biology, and esthetics of the oral cavity and related anatomy. Dr. Roberts and The Dentistry team are here to provide a comfortable environment in which the patient has all required knowledge to make confident and informed decisions about their dental care. Our satisfaction comes from providing the highest quality product, care, and experience. We are guided by uncompromised ethics and morality, and we are rewarded by our unwavering commitment to improving the lives and well-being of everybody in our office, community, and world.

Dr. Roberts received his B.S in biology and B.S. in chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2013. He graduated from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in Nashville, TN in 2020 with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery.

He has had great experiences and practice with CAD/CAM dentistry, as well as with the evolution of digital technology and its evolving integration into modern dentistry. He is also a Member of the American Dental Association.

Outside of the office, Dr. Roberts loves being active outside and has spent many nights under the stars backpacking from the Appalachian Mountains to the sandbars of secluded streams. He has affinity for golf (sometimes), depending on how well he is hitting. As a child, he loved tinkering with Legos, and that passion has translated to building firearms as an adult. However, be mindful that he does not love buying ammo, although he is still a fan of Legos.

Dr. Roberts also considers himself a car enthusiast for many of the same reasons he loves dentistry. He enjoys spending an inordinate amount of time and patience tending the grill and indulging in Texas BBQ.

Unfortunately this place has been steadily going downhill. We have been patients here for over 25 years, but their turnover of dentists has been extremely high. They have you set your next appointment 6 months in advance, and then they call you about 2 weeks before your appointment to tell you it has been cancelled and needs to be rescheduled, but nothing is available. For example, my Sept appointment was cancelled and the next open date they had was in MARCH. No kidding. Then the filling they gave me in my upper molar didn't caused my lower molar to crack and gave me serious pain. They couldn't get me in for over a month until I basically begged them and they squeezed me in the next day. They had to extract my tooth. The dentist who did the extraction was not the one who gave me my filling, and I don't even know if he still works there. My wife gave up and moved to another dentist and I may not be far behind her. Too bad as this used to be the best place in Pittsburgh.

I have been a customer of The Greentree Dentistry, for over 20 years. The Dentist , Hygienist and office personnel are top notch. They are compassionate, patient and extremely professional. I have a very time consuming schedule and the receptionists are always accommodating when scheduling both routine and especially urgent appointments.

Truly one of the worst experiences I've had at a dentist. I made an appointment for my tooth to be extracted. The receptionist on the other line said that would be doable and got me an appointment same day I called, which I thought was great. I came in for my appointment checked in and was called back to the room. I sent x-rays in of my tooth that needed extracted from a previous dentist and the pictures were only 2-3 weeks old they were very new. They ended up taking new x-rays which i didn't want considering i would be charged for it. Not only did I not want the x-rays but the woman taking them kept banging the part that goes in the mouth onto my bad tooth which hurt tremendously. I pushed back into the chair because i was in extreme pain and she says "don't fight with me" meanwhile i wouldn't have to "fight" with her if she knew what she was doing. next the doctor comes in and i explain the issue with the x-ray and she goes on to say how they wouldn't be able to pull the tooth and decided to give me referrals instead. Like i know what's wrong with my tooth i am very aware i don't need another doctor telling me especially when i was assured the tooth would've been pulled that day. I was very frustrated and at this point i just wanted to leave. After getting referrals i went to the insurance info office with another woman and she seemed to have an attitude at first. afterwards i left and am vowing to never return. not only did the stay seem rude and unprofessional but nothing was solved nor accomplished. like i understand if you can't pull the tooth but communicate with the doctor and front desk before having a client drive all the way there and waste their time. i was not impressed and very disappointed with the outcome.

It was a very comforting and successful examination. The dental hygienist was very thoughtful and caring throughout the examination. She is very polite and has a wonderful way of explaining everything she is about to do. I would recommend The Dentistry of Greentree to anyone.

It seems the tenure of the Doctors is rather short. Just when I develop a comfort level, that Dr. moves on. It seems The Dentistry has become a stepping stone to bigger and better.

Dr. Paige Kunz left me emotionally scarred for life. I left the office in tears. I was so excited to finally get this work done after mustering my courage and now I dont feel like ever going to a dentist again. I had a 10+ positive experience at The Greentree Dentistry yrs ago with my lower teeth extraction & appliance. This yr I wanted to proceed with upper dentures but learned my prior dentist had left The Dentistry. Unfortunately, I then learned the dentist I started my denture process with only did anesthesia so I waited a whole month for an appt at The Dentistry. I was very clear what I was seeking at The Dentistry & told it was fine & they could do the work. Pam & Donna were truly wonderful. All I needed was upper extractions with halcion & nitrous (like I had before at The Dentistry) & dentures. Dr Kunz explained I would need to have lower implants done with an oral surgeon, not at The Dentistry. Every time I asked a question during her eval about my upper extraction/denture work it was called an "interruption" & she appeared more irritated with me. Her & the temp assistant accused me of talking over them. She walked out aftr 10 minutes then returned & informed me I needed treatment elsewhere. Not everyone is brave enough or can afford to have major upper & lower dental work at the same time. Not everyone is going to sit silently while a dentist dictates a treatment plan. I was told there was a legal obligation to inform me about both upper & lower treatment plans, but the other denture dentist didnt try to force me to have work done I wasnt ready to do. Patient questions & input are NOT interruptions. The prior denture dentist had no issues proceeding with just an upper denture to start. I was made to feel like I wasnt permitted to ask questions or be involved in decisions with my dental plan. I felt like unless & shutup, let her do whatever she wanted & pay the enormous bill, I was rejected as a patient. I left the appt feeling like I wasnt a human with a voice or any say in what I could afford or was ready to have done with my own mouth. I then learned despite numerous dentists listed on the website, there was only one available. That website states there is a high level of understanding and compassionate care. I saw none of that outside of Pam & Donna.

Not exactly sure what the point of my visit was, they took x-rays, poked around my gums, didn't clean anything and told me that I needed extra deep cleaning, the extra cleaning would be $200 out of pocket and would have to reschedule in 2 or 3 months. When I was at the desk trying to schedule that cleaning that I needed to pay out of pocket for. it wasn't 2 or 3 months, It was 8 months out before I could get an appointment.

I've been going to The Dentistry Greentree off and on for nearly my entire life. The past 8 years since I've been back in Pittsburgh I've had nothing but great experiences with them. I always receive top notch customer service and treatment by the dental hygienists and dentists.

They were accommodating with anxiety that I have with the dentist. I use the nitrous oxide gas option they offer. The Doctor was very gentle and they were only doing necessary dental work. They did not try to tell you that your whole mouth needed rehabbed. Great cleaning, my mouth feels great today.

I love going there. The staff is wonderful, friendly, engaging, and very helpful. I just wish they'd ease off the mask restrictions at this point. It makes little sense to walk into the place with a mask on for a fraction of the time you'll be sitting, mouth open, without a mask in the dentist chair. Other than that, I'm a big fan.

All the ladies that work here are incredibly nice! The dentist was quick, and he was honest but understanding. I feel so comfortable and welcomed here. Thank you! Edit: their finance department is very unprofessional, refuse to respond to phone calls or certified mail. They tried to send me to collections because they wouldn't provide me with the documentation needed originally. Will not return.
