Dr. Michael Conrad, an Allentown native, received his BS from Muhlenberg College in 1973. Later, after graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1978, he served as a dental officer in the U.S. Navy for four years. While in the Navy, he was stationed in Great Lakes, Illinois as well as Okinawa, Japan. During his time there, he received extensive training in General Dentistry with special emphasis in Oral Surgery and Endodontics.
Besides dentistry, Dr. Conrad is very involved in music and theater, and sings in numerous choirs. He is currently a member of the quartet All In Good Time. Previously, he had been a part of Audible Difference in the nine years prior. He is an executive board member of Summer Harmony Mens Chorus of the Lehigh Valley. He has sung with the group since its formation in 1991. In terms of theater, he played Kris Kringle for 5 years in a local version of Miracle on 34th Street. Likewise, he is a veteran of over 27 theatrical productions. Very active in his church, he served on Church Council for many years, continues to sing in the choir. In addition, he has performed in the Christ Lutheran Church production of 12th Night for over 26 years.
He and his wife Lois love walking, reading, photography, gardening, and traveling. He celebrated his 35th year in private practice on September 1, 2017. Dr. Conrad is looking forward to the years to come.

Dr.Conrad & staff was amazing I had an infection in my tooth. Couldn't sleep for 2 nights called in the morning and he had me come in the same day & he fixed me right up even stayed after hours!!! Thanks again!!! You guys are truly the best

Hands down the best dentist!! I'm new to the area, and I needed a dentist asap. I have really bad anxiety with dentist. Dr. Conrad not only got me in immediately as a new patient but was the most gentle dentist. His staff members are so sweet and amazing. I highly recommend his office and if your having anxiety, put that to ease I promise you he will treat you great!!! I have my new dentist for this area.

I've been going to Dr. Conrad since the late 90's. They are the friendliest group of people and the services they provide, from the hygienists to the chair side assistants to the doctors to the front office staff, are excellent. Highly recommend.

I went to see Dr. Conrad for an ongoing tooth problem. He was recommended to me by a friend. I only wish l would have known about him years ago! He is very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He explains things so well and gladly answers your questions. His personality is warm and friendly. His office is beautiful inside with the latest equipment and is super clean. Overall, I was very impressed with Dr. Conrad and his excellent staff.

I have been going to Dentist Down The Lane since I was a child and there is no better place to go visit the dentist than here! When my husband and I moved out of the area, we tried a different dentist who was closer to us and we did not have the same experience as we do at Dentist Down The Lane - not even close. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but my anxiety fades away when I am there because they are so personable, understanding and gentle. I will never go anywhere else!

I have been going to this Dentist for MANY, MANY Years! He is Excellent & Extremely Knowledgeable, in many areas of Dentistry! That's why I have stayed with the Practice this long & don't plan to ever leave until he retires! His Staff has always gone above & beyond Courtesy & Professionalism! They are always willing to 'Work with You' on scheduling, rescheduling appointments, checking insurance coverage & relaying messages to the Doctor! This Dental Practice is AAA!

Best dentists in the area. I travel back to PA just to have Dr. Conrad take care of all my dental needs. He takes time to make sure you aren't in pain while procedures being done!! I highly recommend to anyone who is afraid of dentists. You can be assured you won't be any longer!!
