Dr. Barry Moretzky graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1987. After graduating, he furthered his education by attending a ten-month course on TMJ syndrome at NYU Dental School. In 1992, Dr. Moretzky completed a one-year course in dental implantology at Brookdale Hospital, located in Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Moretzky has also studied straight wire orthodontics and is certified to the highest level that Invisalign, the clear braces alternative, offers. He has also achieved certification in porcelain restorations using the CEREC computerized application method. Dr. Moretzky has enhanced his education regarding implants, bone regeneration, and soft-tissue regeneration via courses offered by respected oral surgeons and periodontists throughout the country.
Dr. Moretzky is an active member in the Academy of Laser Dentistry, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI). He is a Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology (ICOI).
Dr. Fara Vossughi is a Periodontist who focuses upon the highest quality of care for her patients. She is both technically and academically outstanding at providing excellent periodontal care in a welcoming and comfortable setting.
She is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, 9th District Dental Association and Northeastern Society of Periodontists. She is currently serving on the Member Benefits Committee of the 9th District Dental Association to consider and recommend available benefits of the members to the Board of Governors.
Dr. Vossughi grew up in Germany and graduated in 1996 from Frankfurt University Dental School, where she earned her Dental Degree. She worked for two years as a general dentist in Germany before relocating to the States and attending Columbia University, School of Dental Medicine, where she earned a second Dental Degree and completed a three-year Specialty Program in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry receiving a Certificate of Specialty with Masters of Science in 2003.
Dr. Vossughi is holding a faculty position as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Periodontology at Columbia University. She is an active member of the Columbia Implant Study Club. As an educator and clinician, she attends numerous continuing education courses to keep up to date with the latest technologies. She is experienced in all phases of periodontal surgical and non-surgical therapy, implant surgery, sinus lift, ridge augmentation and soft tissue grafting as well as dental extractions.
The main focus of Dr. Vossughi's practice is her patient's comfort. She understands most patients are apprehensive about periodontal therapy and implants, but her objective is to make sure her patients understand the full scope of treatment and all their questions are answered prior to the procedure. She will then skillfully perform the procedure to obtain the optimal result.

I was hesitant with returning to the dentist due to the pandemic but my concerns were alleviated upon arrival. You have to call the office when you're outside and they let one person in at a time after doing a quick assessment on your health and travels. You go directly to your room which is kept isolated and ventilated with professional air filtration systems. You have to wash your hands prior to entering your room and after exiting. The hygienist and dentist are donned thoroughly in PPE. As a medical professional myself, I was impressed with the care and attention to detail put into making this environment as safe as possible for everyone involved. Great work and will always recommend.

Been going here for years. I was very impressed with the investment the team made to create a safe environment for the staff and for the patients. From screening upon arrival to the partitioned cleaning stations with their own individual air purifier. Well done!!

I could not have been more happy with the treatment and care during my recent routine dental appointment. Dr. Barry & his team have truly put their patients first to ensure safety and confidence during this COVID environment we are all in. Before my visit I called and Gloria walked me through all the steps that would be taken to ensure a safe visit. I received 3 temperature scans in the parking lot before entering - as soon as I walked in I was offered booties (see photo) - from there I was brought to the sink to wash my hands prior to entering the room where Nabeth was waiting for me. Nabeth was all ready with a face mask, face shield, safety gown etc. Hand Sanitizer was readily available and each patient room had a special covering in the doorway to prevent the spread of any germs. The Dental Team Rocks!! Thank you for going above and beyond!

I've been going to the Dental team for many years. I can't write enough great things about Dr.Barry and Crystal, my hygienist. They are always on time and extremely professional, no waiting. They have respect for all aspect of the patient relationship. Dr.Barry recently used the latest cutting edge technology in supplying me a crown,. They are clearly in the top echelon of the dental field. There is no substitute for experience and their knowledge and recommendations have had a positive impact on my family's dental health. They are reasonably priced and truly consider the patient's well-being. I recommend them with no reservations. If you are a dental coward or veteran, you couldn't pick a better place.

Best place ever!! Dr. Barry is so wonderful and so is the entire staff! I don't know where to begin this review, because there are no words that can describe how thankful I am to have found this amazing team and Dr. Barry. If you have fear or dental phobia like I do, this is the only place you can consider. I have EXTREME dental anxiety which has caused me to not see a dentist for almost 10 years! Finally, due to a crack in a tooth, my husband would no longer let me avoid it and took it upon himself to research. He asked a number of people for recommendations and searched the internet for reviews. He called and spoke to them in advance about my fears to be sure they would be the right place for me. They assured him they would listen and do everything they could to give me a good experience. My husband had to come with me for the initial visit as I never would have showed up for the appointment otherwise. They welcomed my husband to sit with me and hold my hand through the entire visit. The first appointment was just a consult and the entire team was kind and very patient with my hysterics and nerves. They took everything slowly and listened to my needs. It was the best case scenario and I felt confident enough to come back for a cleaning and to make an appointment to have the work done on the cracked toothed. I just completed that appointment today and can't say enough good things about Dr. Barry. My anxiety upon arrival was very high and he literally held my hand through the entire thing and quietly and calmly listened to my initial tears... he never once made me feel silly for my phobia and was nothing but respectful and kind. He was extremely patient, gentle, and there was NO pain-he made sure of that! I highly recommend this team for all of your dental needs. You can trust this doctor to listen to you and to go at the pace you are comfortable with. If you are on the fence due to dental fears I encourage you to make a consult and meet this team!

The Dental Team is Awesome!!! They are so kind and professional. I just had an inlay done today. Other dentists told me to have a crown but Dr Berry said he could do an inlay that would preserve the integrity of my tooth. The best part is they have this fantastic technology so it could be done in one visit! If you are scared of the dentist, like me, you must give this office a try.
