Hi, Im Dr. Jacob Long, Wilmington Cosmetic Dentist. I started The Dental Studio in the Spring of 2021, so I could have the opportunity to provide optimal dental care and cosmetic dental care to my own community and neighborhood. Through dentistry, I am able to impact peoples lives by helping them find their smile and improve their overall oral health. I would like to provide comprehensive, compassionate dental care to my neighbors and friends in Porters Neck, Hampstead and the surrounding areas.
I was born and raised in southern West Virginia. My wife Brittany and I are high school sweethearts and were married in 2010. I attended Marshall University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in chemistry. In 2012, we moved to Morgantown, WV where I attended West Virginia University School of Dentistry. During my senior year of dental school, we visited Wilmington for the first time. We immediately knew this was the place we would like to raise our family and make our home.
Brittany and I have been blessed with three beautiful sons. Brody (6), Grayson (4) and Carter (1). We live in the Porters Neck area of Wilmington, NC. When we are not in our front yard gathering with neighbors, you can find our family on the beach, riding our bikes or traveling to a new fun place. I love spending time with my family, which is why starting The Dental Studio in Scotts Hill, near our home was so important to me. I have a short commute to the office which allows for more time with my family.

First I must thank all of the staff how professional and polite everyone was upon my visits, along with the dental hygienist whom was fantastic. Dr Long was outstanding, he was so clear on my plan of treatment, explaining everything to me as well as showing me around one of the nicest dental facilities I have ever seen. The studio is state of the art, spacious, comfortable, even offered me beverages. I can't thank Dr Long enough for his guidance and work that he did , saved me so much money and time. Was so fast at getting my appointments, including my family members as well. I would highly recommend the dental studio to all my friend family and colleagues. Thanks to you all once again . Michael

If your looking for a state of the art dental office with friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor and great location, look no further than here! I felt like a king being worked on here. Everything was explained at every step of the process, bedside manner not lacking. I don't go to the dentist as often as I should so when I go I expect a lot of pain.....but not here. I could have napped through my procedure! I did not feel a bit of pain. This is my go to forever dentist for sure!! Drop by, you won't be dissapointed.

Awesome! Jacob and his staff are very professional, detailed and very thorough with making sure your teeth are taken care of. I was very pleased and impressed with my results even from the first visit there. I will continue to use Jacob at The Dental Studio for my future dental needs.

The entire experience was more than I could have hoped for. Staff was super friendly and just wanted to make sure that you felt comfortable. The quality of the work was fantastic. Usually having a broken crown fixed is a terrible time, but I left feeling great. Thank you, Dental Studio! I will definitely be recommending you to my family and friends.

I would highly recommend The Dental Studio I cannot put into words of awesome they were with my kiddos. It was my little youngest child's first visit and they made him so comfortable so quickly! Dr. Long and is whole team, specifically Kate the hygienist and Kaitlyn the assistant, were amazing! 10/10 recommend!

We couldn't be more pleased with our experience at the Dental Studio. Dr. Long and his staff were very cordial and caring. They listened to what we had to say. We are new to the area and the Dental Clinic came highly recommended to us. After our visit there today, we can understand why patients are so pleased with the Dental Studio. We also would like to highly recommend Dr. Long and the staff of the Dental Studio to others in the Wilmington area.

Great experience! The staff is professional and friendly, and they are happy to answer any questions. Kate did a wonderful job of polishing stains from my teeth, and Dr. Long provided a thorough assessment and treatment plan. The office aesthetic is beautiful and clean. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but the overall atmosphere of the office and professionalism of the staff at The Dental Studio have changed my mind. Marissa, Kate, Kaitlyn, and Dr. Long are all very knowledgeable and provide an experience unlike any I've previously had with dental care. Highly recommend.
