Dr. Keenan Davis graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1995. He then attended the Medical College of Virginia from 1995-1997, where he received his specialty certification in prosthodontics. From November of 1997 to November of 2002, Dr. Davis served in the United States Air Force at Mac Dill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida, as Chief Prosthodontist and Officer in charge of the dental lab. Dr. Davis is a member of the American Dental Society, the John L. McGriff Dental Society, and the Tidewater Study Group. Dr. Davis is one of the premier dentists at smile makeovers and cosmetic dentistry in Hampton Roads.
Dr. John Kent is a Virginia native from a military family and has resided in Northern Virginia, Richmond and the Hampton Roads area. Growing up, Dr. Kent focused heavily on art and graphic design, constantly working with his hands with the goal of making this his lifelong career. However, his love of science and desire to help people eventually led him to the medical professions. Through a mentor, he discovered he was able to combine all of his passions through Dentistry. He was accepted into the guaranteed admission program to the Dental School at Virginia Commonwealth University right out of high school and spent the next decade of his life living in Richmond. VCU was the perfect fit for Dr. Kent, as it was also a top Art and Design school in the country.
Dr. Kent has spent the last decade in Hampton Roads improving the lives of his patients by providing compassionate and painless dentistry. He has developed a reputation in the area for helping those with high dental anxiety and has helped many without having to use potentially risky sedation techniques. Dr. Kent has observed that oftentimes dental work may either be competent technically in form and function or artistic in a cosmetic sense. Dr. Kent believes that true quality dentistry must bridge the gap between technical and artistic skill and he strives to provide that to his patients every day.

Dr Kent was the only dentist in Hampton Roads who would see me on a Saturday emergently. Him and his team were extremely kind and compassionate. Really grateful to them. Fantastic experience

Dr. Kent and the staff at Dental Studio are warm and accommodating. He replaced my 15+ year old veneers and they look so good. He worked hard to ensure they would look natural and feel comfortable.

Great, thorough, and conservative care. Dr. Kent does a careful evaluation, screening for other facial pathologies, and is glad to explain everything he is doing as he works. He has an excellent bedside manner and his staff is extremely welcoming. He also doesn't oversell you on invasive treatments - he explains options and is quick to point out when waiting is the best course if a cavity is very minor. I've found my dentist!

First off, I absolutely hate going to the dentis. My teeth and gums are very sensitive. These men and women are fantastic. Receptionist was great, and the two dentists did everything possible to make sure I was in as little pain as possible. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I never thought that i would actually enjoy going to the Dentist.Go figure. But these folks got it figured out. The service is speedy and friendly. Pain management is at a bare minimum. And the prices are very affordable. I would highly recommend at the very least to checking them out.You wont be disappointed.

It was great experience! I hadn't been to a dentist in awhile so I was a little nervous, but everything was awesome. Staff was very nice and professional. The office was clean and easy to find.

Dr Kent is Amazing! He is very kind and calming. He stays light hearted, and cares about people. He also is a top notch dentist, so whatever procedure I am having I am completely confident I am in good hands! The staff at Ocean View is extremely competent as well!!! Thanks Dr. Kent!

I have just had my first experience at The Dental Studio on Bayview Blvd. My first experience was with Jill who "man's" the desk and all things in the front of the house. She is very nice and friendly which is very important because i have met a lot of mean front of the house people. Michele the Dental Hygienist/ Assistant is also very nice...she made me feel at home. The star of the show, Dr. Kent was ALSO very nice..he does excellent work and has a great sense of humor. The whole office is just a positive environment and i have found my place! I'm not a friend of the family, nor have i been paid to write this...its sincere... Eileen

The Dental Studio of Hampton Roads never disappoints. I have been their patient for years, and I am always happy to go back. Mario is my favorite - as he is very detail-oriented and cares about his patients. He always makes sure his work space is sparkling clean, and always cares that the patient is comfortable. Also, Dr. Kent is always very kind and extremely knowledgeable. I refuse to go to any other dentist!
