Dr. Carbia graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagez. She went on to complete her degree in Dentistry at the UPR School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Carbia was admitted to Nova University where she finished her AEGD residency, after which she decided to stay in Florida to practice dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr Carbia is a second-generation dentist; her father, sister and brother in law all practice dentistry in Puerto Rico. Dr. Carbia has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in the Miami area for over 8 years. She has completed advanced training in Endodontics and Invisalign. She is passionate about continuing education courses every year in order to keep up with all the latest technologies that are constantly changing in Dentistry. Dr. Carbia is also dedicated to making a positive contribution to the community. She is committed to your dental health and it is her mission to develop a long-term relationship with her patients. I am committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one! I joined Dr. Carbia in 2016 and have over 10 years of experience in the dental field. My goal is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service that I have acquired to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families.
I have been working as a EFDA since 2001 graduating from the DA program at Fortis College Technical institute in 2000.I believe that going to work every day holds something new and is another opportunity to ensure our patients feel comfortable and leave happy. I love being a DA and helping you maintain and achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr.Carbia is a fantastic dentist to work with. I enjoy working with her and the rest of my team everyday. I also assist the doctor and hygienists clinically. Always remember, You dont have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep.
