Dr. Carbia graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagez. She went on to complete her degree in Dentistry at the UPR School of Dental Medicine in 2006. Dr. Carbia was admitted to Nova University where she finished her AEGD residency, after which she decided to stay in Florida to practice dentistry. She is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr Carbia is a second-generation dentist; her father, sister and brother in law all practice dentistry in Puerto Rico. Dr. Carbia has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in the Miami area for over 8 years. She has completed advanced training in Endodontics and Invisalign. She is passionate about continuing education courses every year in order to keep up with all the latest technologies that are constantly changing in Dentistry. Dr. Carbia is also dedicated to making a positive contribution to the community. She is committed to your dental health and it is her mission to develop a long-term relationship with her patients. At The Dental Studio, she compassionately offers you her expertise in a comfortable, state-of-the-art and family-friendly atmosphere.
I am committed to making our patients and their families experience in our office a positive one! I joined Dr. Carbia in 2016 and have over 10 years of experience in the dental field. My goal is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service that I have acquired to equip our team to best serve our patients and their families.
I have been working as a EFDA since 2001 graduating from the DA program at Fortis College Technical institute in 2000.I believe that going to work every day holds something new and is another opportunity to ensure our patients feel comfortable and leave happy. I love being a DA and helping you maintain and achieve beautiful and healthy smiles. Dr.Carbia is a fantastic dentist to work with. I enjoy working with her and the rest of my team everyday. I also assist the doctor and hygienists clinically. Always remember, You dont have to floss all your teeth, just the ones you want to keep. On my days off I like to spend time with my family and my dog Spartacus, he is always excited to see me. I also like to cook and try new recipe. I love having fun and laughing its good for the soul.

I've been a patient here for over a year, and I cannot say enough great things about this office. Extremely kind and professional staff, transparent with any billing/logistical matters, and a clean, beautiful space! I recently completed an Invisalign treatment, and I am so pleased with the results. Dr. Carbia and her team create a wonderful environment and almost put their patients first and are always available to answer any questions or address concerns. I can't thank them enough!

I have not had a consistent dentist for about 5 + years as I moved to Miami 5 + years ago. My wife found Dr. Carbia's a few years ago and recommended her. I went for a crown and having another in the past, I can truly say the process of getting the crown put in was easy and painless. Just yesterday, I had a tooth extraction which I was nervous about (never had a tooth pulled) and everything was done quickly and without any pain. The process was explained to me and as the the tooth was being extracted they talked me through what I would feel. The entire staff is extremely friendly and they make you feel very comfortable upon entering. The most important takeaway I have from my experiences going to Dr. Carbia is that she will provide you a game plan for what your mouth may need. She walks you through the steps and explains why certain things are needed.

I hate going to the dentist!!!! But my ever since finding Dr. Carbia I have been going to the dentist regularly. I have had 3 filling with her and not even the anesthesia hurts. Oh and the office manager Ali is the best!!!

Love coming to this dental office compared to others I have been to in the same area. They are courteous, professional and very clean. They follow up with you to ensure the best service possible. Dr Carbia is young but, very knowledgeable in what she does and is always striving to improve your dental services. Up to date technology in all areas. I strongly recommend Dental Studios.

Dr. Carbia and, her team are outstanding. I had a dental implant today (4-27-22) and they were timely, courteous, and I did not feel a thing. I almost went to sleep.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Only dental office I've ever been a patient of where I actually look forward to my visits. Very clean and serene atmosphere. Friendly customer service and bedside manner is second to none. Most importantly, they do a great job with my teeth, and they take the least invasive/painful/expensive approach whenever possible. Highly recommend them. A+++++++++++

Today, I had a consult scheduled for Invisalign for my bottom teeth. I showed up to the appointment ten minutes early and filled out my paperwork. I was called into the back by the dental assistant. They told me that I would need an X-ray in order to proceed with the Invisalign consult. Since this was news to me, I asked if I could send my X-rays from my dental exam from two months ago instead of paying $75 for a new X-ray. Maribel the dentist then walked in out of nowhere and told me verbatim that I was wasting HER time (while tapping on her watch) because I did not want to pay $75 for a new X-ray and then walked out. The assistant then took some photos and Maribel walked in again and turned the screen to show me the photos, stating that my top six porcelain veneers are way too big and thick. I asked her how this information pertains to the Invisalign consult to straighten my bottom teeth and she indicated that it is clinical information and maybe it was too much clinical information for me. I did not follow. She then proceeded to ask me if I wanted a quote for the Invisalign. I'm honestly not sure where this lady gets off telling potential clients they are wasting HER time and that their veneers are too big? Where is her sense of professionalism? What does she think will happen to practice when there are no more clients?

Amazing experience! I went in for 3 wisdom teeth extractions, and the result was absolutely incredible. Dr. Maribel Carbia took care of it in 15 minutes, no pain, no suffering, I just couldn't believe how smooth and clean the extractions were. Dr. Carbia and her staff are the best in town without a doubt, I would recommend them a hundred percent!

I originally chose this dental office because it is a block from my apartment. I decided to begin invisalign treatment with them. They are the sweetest, cleanest, and most knowledgeable and efficient dental office I have ever gone to. They have never been late for an appointment, even though I've always seen other patients there.

Hi ,went to Dental Studio for partial dentures was very nervous about whole process, but staff from office manager Ali to Dr Carbia to dental assistant Molly made me fell like family and made me feel at home and confident about procedure. For every appointment I never waited more than 10 minutes as they never overbook, which is awesome because we all have been miserable at medical offices waiting for hours as they don't care about your time.I highly recommend The dental studio to everyone, because it was the best experience ever at the dentist possible, and I hated going to dentist until now.
