Dr. Noah P. Orenstein grew up on Cape Cod. His training gave him the opportunity to live and work in other areas of the country, but he always wanted to settle and raise his family in Boston. His father, a dentist, and mother, a psychotherapist, were his greatest role models in pursuing a career in healthcare. Their respective influences instilled in him acute skills in sensitivity and attention to detail, which intertwine perfectly in his clinical practice.
As a compassionate person, Dr. Orensteins favorite part about being a prosthodontist is being able to develop relationships and play a positive role in peoples lives. After attending Phillips Academy in Andover and Emory University in Atlanta, he completed his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, having developed an interest in implant dentistry, Dr. Orenstein immediately began his post-doctoral surgical training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. After a year in private practice he felt compelled to provide a more advanced level of service and care to his patients, which encouraged him to attend the University of Connecticut for a three-year advanced specialty degree in Prosthodontics and Implant Surgery. Concurrently, he obtained a Masters degree in Facial Esthetics. In 2013 he became Board Certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics (a distinction that only 1 of every 20 Prosthodontists in America achieve.) Dr. Orenstein is dedicated to being proficient in the most cutting-edge procedures and has additionally earned certifications as an Invisalign and Pinhole Gum Rejuvenation provider.
Dr. Orenstein served as an adjunct faculty at the Harvard University School of Dental Medicines Advanced Program for Implant Reconstruction and at the Graduate Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut, teaching dental residents proper implant surgical and restoration techniques for complex patient treatment. Additionally, Dr. Orenstein has been published in many nationally recognized prosthodontic journals.

When she is not working, she enjoys party planning, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and daughter.
Emmanuella grew up in Framingham and spent time in the US Army Reserves. She is currently working towards a bachelors degree in biology and in her free time enjoys reading, dining and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Molly graduated Mount Ida College with a Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is a registered dental hygienist certified in CPR and radiology and licensed in Local Anesthesia. Molly grew up in Canterbury Connecticut, and enjoys playing lacrosse spending time with her friends and family.
Saira earned her Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene at MCPHS University. She is passionate about patient care and strives to provide comprehensive education and treatment in order to help maintain her patients healthy smiles. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her husband and family.
Gleissy grew up in Lowell and received her license in dental assisting at Middlesex Community College in 2004. She has worked hands on as a lead dental assistant for over 15 years in prosthodontics, orthodontics, and general dentistry. Her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is having fun with and getting to know her patients. She has two kids and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Excellent staff that made me feel at ease through some not so easy procedures. Every aspect of their service was 5 star. It felt like the entire team was in sync as soon as I walked into the door to the receptionist's welcoming smile. They have such a rare mix of quality, professionalism, care, empathy and a genuine connection with each of their patients. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a dentist in the Newton area. What can I say? This dentist is a keeper.

They are always on time, and it's very clear that they care about their patients. I trust them 100% and am very happy with the care that they provide. Dr. Orenstein's practice, manner and thoroughness is wonderful. The hygienists are top shelf. They do a perfect cleaning ever time without question. Office smells and looks spotlessly clean. It is bright and airy. The staff is super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the different insurances. I'm glad for this because my insurance is usually difficult to navigate but they made it easy for me. They do the billing and I pay the co-pay , that's it! I'd highly recommend them.

Your search is over. Dr. O is a phenomenal dentist and a generally awesome guy. The entire staff is super friendly and very professional. Perfect meld of classic and NEW technology used in the office. I have no fear of pain, when visit for a cleaning or to have work done.

Very friendly and professional. Efficient cleanings and don't try to upsell you. Edit: I wish I could give more than 5 stars here. I recently had the unfortunate experience of some major dental work needs but Dr orenstein and his staff made it so much better. Dr Orenstein is great at describing his thought process, what he is doing and thoroughly discussing options to find what works best for you. That same care and attitude is reflected in his staff as well. The best dentist I've been to hands down.

I had not been to a dentist in years, mostly because I previously did not enjoyed it. My teeth that had fillings from years ago started to crack and break and I ignored getting them fixed. My wife and son have been going to Dental Specialists. They recommended Dental Specialists to me and I made an appointment but was not looking forward to it. It started with a cleaning and x-rays then a consultation with Noah. We discussed different options and this included extractions and removable dentures. We came up with a plan together. I have had 7 teeth extracted, a crown added and received my dentures. Noah and his staff have been wonderful to me. I was worried about too much pain but they took care of that and made me feel comfortable every visit. I am glad I made the decision to go to Dental Specialists and get my teeth fixed. From the time you walk through the front door every one you meet is friendly, courteous and professional. If you are looking for a dentist office I strongly recommend Dental Specialists of Newton.

If you have a dental issue you're a bit embarrassed to get fixed - or if it's been awhile since you saw a dentist and are embarrassed about how much work you might need - get over it and make an appointment with Dr. Orenstein. Some years ago, on a shallow dive, I chipped one of my front teeth on the pool bottom. A dentist I saw made a fix that lasted about 3 months.After that, I didn't smile much for years. On my first visit to Dr.Orenstein, I explained my unhappiness about the chip and my embarrassment about the appearance of my two front upper teeth. Less than 2 hours later,, I walked out with a new smile at a very reasonable fee! After seeing Dr Orenstein, my biggest challenge afterward was learning how to let myself smile broadly again. Dr. Orenstein is more than just a skilled dentist - he's a really nice guy - I swear that the "Mathew" who left a bad review has Dr Orenstein confused with someone else. He could not be more pleasant, and offers a range of options to treat most conditions. He's a 5-star champ in my eyes!
