Dr. Gary Sasakis history is rooted in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Detroit, and received his Dental Degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. While establishing his dental practice in Ypsilanti, Michigan, he taught at the University of Detroit-Mercy Dental School until 1979. He then received a Masters Degree in Crown and Bridge Dentistry in 1981 from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He continued teaching part-time at the School of Dentistry for the University of Michigan until 1989. Dr. Sasaki has continued this educational relationship with U of M as a guest lecturer, and has many hours of continuing education credits in all phases of dentistry. Dr. Gary Sasaki has been married for 30 years and has two adult children in health care professions. He enjoys spending his time golfing, playing tennis, exercising, traveling and eating all types of food.

Dr. Ryan Sasaki graduated with a B.A. degree in Psychology from Boston University College of Arts and Science in 1999. Before entering dental school, Dr. Ryan Sasaki worked as a case manager for a non-profit social services agency to help rehabilitate people with mental disabilities and substance abuse disorders. He also worked as a research assistant on projects that investigated the effects of family interventions on patients suffering from depression at Butler Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
Dr. Ryan Sasaki attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston where he received his D.M.D. (Doctor of Dental Medicine). In 2011 he joined The Dental Spa, and strongly believes in the offices commitment to excellent patient care and their dedication to improving oral health in a compassionate and caring atmosphere. In his free time he enjoys playing tennis, hiking and spending time with his wife, Lara; their sons, Dresden and Levin; and their dog Emmett.

I was referred to the office by my best friend and I like the office so much the office staff are wonderful and Dr. Miller is pretty dope! Lisa is super sweet and makes you feel so comfortable! I don't like going to the dentist but the vibe here is nice!!! I recommend it very much so! I almost forgot about Melanie I believe the hygienist she was the sweetest ever so gentle and kind! The eucalyptus essential oil was everything!!! <3 Ariel

Been going there for over 20 years. My entire family goes there. ALL the staff is great with the exception of Jayne who works as the the receptionist. She is rude and a pain to deal with. She is also the reason I'm looking for a new dentist (she's so rude I don't want to deal/encounter her at all)!

I started with Dr Sasaki like about between already little over 35 years ago when he was out on Grove Road and I had a wonderful experience I got good work and I have not seen any reason that everyone that comes here because I was here when he had his first child and now he works on me. Anytime I'm somewhere in the subject comes around to doctors and whatever my Dr Sasaki is the best and his son is coming right along behind him. I love The Dental Spa I really do.

Today I had the most amazing personal experience. My birthday is this week. Plans are made. But...My implant crown came loose and my regular dentist is out of town. Until next week! Not good right! So Im thinking mashed potatoes, milkshakes, soft boiled eggs. But wait! I was enthusiastically directed to The Dental Spa. A spa it is. Dr. Ryan chatted it up with me for maybe 10 mins like we were old friends catching up and in between there was this and that and my crown was back in place. Not a pinch worth of discomfort. I left with a smile feeling extremely grateful and appreciative. Trust me , I am a case study for dental work. If you have dental concerns, feeling out of sorts with some issue's about going- step up and into the Dental Spa knowing you are treating yourself to genuine care with friendly people who can handle a situation. Hands down 5.5 Stars! Walter
