Digital X-rays offer a huge advantage in early detection and preventive services. Advanced image manipulation and analysis, for example, allows your doctor to detect early stages of gum disease through recognition of bone level changes, or by evaluating the results against a previous treatment.
An intraoral camera is an indispensable diagnostic and educational tool. The tiny video camera moves around inside of your mouth and generates a tooth by tooth video exam of your teeth. Using an intraoral camera allows patients to better understand their dental needs by seeing what the dentist sees and then having it explained.
Lasers are a non-surgical approach to arresting the progression of periodontal disease. Following scaling and root planing, a laser is used to significantly reduce the bacterial colonies and decontaminate the infected periodontal pocket. Lasers also remove the infected tissue lining the periodontal pocket. As the infected tissue is removed, microscopic blood clots form and your body's natural healing response takes over. As you heal, the tissue reattaches to the bone and your gums return to a healthy infection-free state.

We picked this specific dental office because of their reviews and we were scared of being overcharged by dentist so I thought it was important to review with our experience. While going to their office we were charged over 800 dollars for a filling. Sounds crazy right? I called my insurance to find out if this is correct. That seems high even for a cash price and we do have insurance. It was told what we were charged for was an optional procedure and instead of the normal filling for a tooth we would pay like 150 dollars for they told us a porcelain filling was normal practice and required for that specific tooth. No other options were given. We were not told our insurance wouldn't cover most of it. So they got a bunch of money for a fancy filling we paid cash for. Best practice in any office should be to provide your patients will all the information so they can make an informed decision. That was not done here and I'm very upset I was charged almost 1000 dollars for something that was just routine.

I don't like going to the dentist but this dentist and staff are very pleasant and accommodating. My fears have been erased.

Dr. Haffar and honestly everyone in this office has been extremely nice and helpful, They have taken the time to ensure that any procedure that needs to be done is handled appropriately and most importantly I don't feel rushed to jump into things, they answer any questions or concerns I may have and never hesitate to help when needed.

Editing my previous review. I had been very upset that the office used up my son's insurance with an erroneous treatment (they treated the wrong tooth the first time). They are correcting the situation and working on my son's tooth. We appreciate that we are able to stay with this dentist. The work really holds up compared to other dental offices. Dr. Sanaz is the best. She understands all your concerns and will address each one! Great staff, accommodating. Works with you to get the best smile. She is always available to help with all your dental needs! I cracked my tooth while travelling to LA, and my friend told me about Dr. Sanaz. Very, very expensive. Their billing practices are highly suspect. Before you leave their office they will finance whatever you cant pay. Then after your insurance pays you would expect a refund- but then they simply charge you more and claim its their agreement with the insurance company. Do not finance with them. Make sure you know their complete charge not just your share. Don't pay it off until they credit your insurance payment. Be prepared-they will rip you off. Im stuck with $1400 in financing and it shoulld have bee $800.
