Dr. Stefanie Donnell-Randall grew up in Ames, Iowa. She graduated at the University of Northern Iowa in 2001, earning a degree in Biology with a biomedical emphasis. She followed her undergraduate work at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she became a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005.
Dr. Donnell-Randalls favorite part of her job is changing a persons view about going to the dentist. She feels one of the highest compliments she can receive is when a patient tells her they are no longer scared to go to the dentist after she has treated them. Once the fear is gone, she believes patients are motivated to return to the dentist and become more receptive to education about keeping their mouth and body healthy, which, she says, can be life-changing and is so exciting to be a part of!
Dr. Donnell-Randall worked at a community health center in Des Moines for several years after becoming a DDS and still sees patients there on a limited basis. She loves to help all people but has a special place in her heart for the underservedone of her main reasons for choosing dentistry as a profession was to utilize her talents for good.
Dr. Donnell-Randall met her husband, Steve, at a rock-climbing class during her undergraduate years in college. They have five active daughters: Ellie, Emma, Hallie, Harper, and Violette. Family is very important to her and her favorite thing to do is spend time with them. Dr. Donnell-Randall says: There is never a dull moment at our house! When she gets some quiet time, she also enjoys reading, sewing, and anything crafty; she loves to discover new ideas on Pinterest.
Dr. Donnell-Randalls vision for The Dental Loft is one of a calm, comfortable environment that doesnt feel like a dental office, with a skilled, kindhearted team thats enthusiastic about providing patients with compassionate, high-quality care. As a mother of five, Dr. Donnell-Randall understands the importance of a positive, convenient dental experience for busy families. She is excited about opening The Dental Loft just a few miles from home and grateful for the opportunity to serve the Urbandale community she and her family love.

i hadn't been to the in like 7 yrs or so ,and was looking for a place to go etc, i was certainly having issues with my etc, and the dental loft did a great job employees we're awesome ,so glad that i went and got my issues resolved, i was able to get in during the Month of March ,and then appointments after that in the months ahead to get my teeth fixed and into great condition, the best dentist I've ever been to ,they care about your needs etc, and give you options , looking at my before going in ,i new I had issues, so glad i got the work done, take care of my going forward and i should be all good, outstanding job to the dental loft team

My wife and I have had nothing but positive experiences at the Dental Loft. The space is very inviting and comfortable and all staff members are knowledgeable and personable. We are always welcomed in by name and with a smile and our questions and concerns get answered clearly. I highly recommend the Dental Loft!

I've been going to the Dental Loft for almost three years and couldn't be happier! All of the staff are exceptional; extremely knowledgeable and professional yet down to earth and friendly which always puts me at ease while being at the dentist. The customer service is great and it's always easy to schedule an appt. I had to reschedule my last appt unexpectedly due to work and I could still get in within the next month, not 8 months like some friends experienced at other places. I like that the Dental Loft is a small business who I am happy to keep supporting!

The Dental Loft is such a warm and welcoming environment. All of the staff are so friendly and they always make you feel comfortable. The hygienist Kim is so amazing! She truly cares about her patients and their wellbeing. Dr Stephanie is also so helpful and caring. She always has a smile on her face and is willing to answer any questions you might have. I used to hate the dentist, but since coming to dental loft, all of my anxiety about the dentist has gone away. I will totally be recommending the dental loft to friends and family.

My first time experience with The Dental Loft was nothing but exceptional! Very friendly staff and cool office. My hygienist Ashley did a phenomenal job and is a true professional at what she does! The Dental Loft is a new dental service in Urbandale. It is bright and clean with all the best new equipment. The people that work there are extremely friendly and warm. My teeth feel better than ever!!! Would highly recommend!

Nothing but great service in the 2 or 3 years I've gone here. Refreshments in the waiting area, Netflix during your appointment, personable staff that remember you... they really make coming to the dentist something to look forward to.

Never have I been to a dentist's office this kind, welcoming, and peaceful. The staff are all wonderful people that are compassionate, competent, and very friendly! Every time I've been here, I've been treated so well, and had the best service out of any other dentist's office I've been to. Easy 5 stars!!!

I've been going to The Dental Loft for a little over 3 years and it has been such a wonderful experience. I used to dread having to go to the dentist, due to the fact that I've encountered many unpleasant instances in other dentist's office. Luckily, a family member pointed my husband and I to the direction of The Dental Loft. They provide such a welcoming and warm environment that encapsulates trust. After visits, they even send you home with a goodie back fillies with essential dental hygiene products! I definitely recommend going here, especially since Kim and Stafanie take the utmost care of you.

If you are looking for a dental office for general dentistry in Des Moines, I fully recommend the Dental Loft! Dr. Stephanie, Ashley and the team are super nice and attentive to all of my questions. They are also very resourceful and knowledgeable, which is important to me because I rely on them to make treatment decisions and trust me, I ask a lot of questions. They rock!

The team at The Dental Loft have an ability to make you feel comfortable the moment you walk in the door. Attractive decor along with some light music to set the mood or settle it if you are a bit anxious like me. I've had cleanings and crowns during my visits and have felt comfortable/heard/cared for during each visit. Like many people, I have a hesitancy in going to the dentist. I feel I am gaining confidence with each visit and it is due to the care I am receiving from Dr. Stefanie and her amazing team of dental assistants/hygienists. Rest assured, you are in capable/caring hands. A+
