While in this role, he was awarded the Air Mobility Command United States Air Force Clinical Dentist of the Year. This honor was given to him in 2012, while he was deployed to Kyrgyzstan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Now, he is dentist of the year year after year to lots of families right here in Galesburg.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Krech enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife, Chelsa, and their two dogs, Ace & Charlotte. Some of his favorite activities include hunting, fishing, golfing, softball, and volleyball. He loves to travel and even completed a dental missionary trip to Nicaragua in 2015. Dr. Krech is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Kentucky Wildcats basketball.
A graduate of Carl Sandburg College with post-graduate training from Heartland, Katherine chose dental hygiene as a career because of her familys history of periodontal disease. Dedicated, sincere, and fun-loving, she is thrilled every time she puts patients on the path of health through dental hygiene and helps them learn to love their smiles. Her artistic nature is not only apparent in her at-home pursuits of ceramics, oil painting, sculpture, and gardening, but also in her skill and training with the dental laser. She is also trained in anesthesia and chemotherapy treatment. When not renewing the smiles of her patients, Katherine enjoys family life, as well as supporting and giving back to her local community.
A graduate of Carl Sandburg College, Jaci had already been working in the dental industry for about four years before joining our practice. As a dental hygienist, she not only is cleaning patients teeth, but is also educating them on ways to better their oral and overall health. She takes pride in making a difference in peoples health, removing their fears about going to the dentist, and also making them as comfortable as possible during their cleanings and when theyre under local anesthesia. Outside of work, Jaci enjoys gardening, reading, and volunteering with the American Cancer Society. Youll also find her watching the Chicago Cubs with her fiance, stepson, her two cats and her dog. Our great team and Dr. Cody make working here wonderful, declares this kind, compassionate, overachiever. So does helping people maintain their smiles and stay healthy! A graduate of Concord Career Institute in North Hollywood, California, Cristie also has advanced training from the Illinois State Dental Society. Cristie says, I am always looking to learn new aspects of dentistry and love providing a great experience for our patients. In her spare time, Cristie enjoys running, reading, spending time with her family, and being outdoors. She is also a member of the Galesburg Roadrunners Club.
Dedicated, funny, friendly, and caring, Bridget jokingly boasts that she attended the School of Marsha for her advanced training as a business assistant. There is such a compassionate atmosphere here, enthuses Bridget. Everyone makes the environment really caring both toward patients and toward each other. In her free time, Bridget loves spending time with her family, friends, and rescue cattle dog named Emmy.
Describing herself as happy, funny, faithful, and genuine, Marsha is the queen of the front desk. She has worked at The Dental Group of Galesburg for over 24 years and wouldnt change a thing. She really enjoys getting to know patients and showing them how much they are valued. In her free time, she is active in The American Cancer society and relishes spending time with her kids, watching them race motorcycles. She also enjoys boating and riding jetskis. There couldnt be a prouder mom.
And of course we cant forget our lovable practice pups, Ace and Charlotte. These playful team members can be found comforting nervous patients or just bringing a smile to our patients. Ace and Charlotte are extremely strict on cleanliness and are the first ones to help clean up any dropped food or treats.
Ace is a 10 year old Labrador Retriever. Outside of chasing ducks during hunting season, you can find Ace playing fetch, looking for ways to get a treat, or napping. Aces favorite thing about Dr. Cody is that Dr. Cody is his most loyal best friend.
Charlotte is a 3 year old Golden Retriever. She loves to run and can often be found with a ball in her mouth. Her favorite thing to do with Dr. Cody is to cuddle on the couch in front of the fireplace.

I just want to say that I had the kindest and most understanding staff taking care of me when I had to have my extraction. Everyone I met there was very understanding and patient and helpful I got nauseated after my procedure and they were also very kind in the helping me overcome it I can't recommend this place highly enough for the patient service that they gave me.

The office staff is super friendly, as are the rest of the staff! Went in for a couple cavities and a crown and never felt a thing! I had some super bad experiences with dentists and they put me at ease! Up front about cost and treatment! I would definitely recommend them!

Dr. Cody and all of his staff definitely deserve 5 stars!! I can't thank them enough for the kindess and dental care I've received so far. I don't see me ever changing dentists again unless he leaves the area.

I just want to say my husband and I went to the Dental Group for a new patient visit my husband had his visit first and i was a few weeks later because i am a big chicken and Dentist scare me. But my husband told me I would be pleased with this staff so I went .. and I must say i was very very pleased and relaxed with everyone from the front desk staff to Dr Cody .. my first visit was with Katherine and she was super cool and put me completely at ease . I am very happy we have found our new Dental Group. If you are looking for a professional Dental Team that has a great rapport with their Clients I would suggest making your appointment with this group they for sure will take good care of you.

Was extremely impressed with quality of work! Recently had tooth worked on here they took excellent care of me! I didn't feel anything the entire time and the numb meds wore off timely manner was able to go back to work that same day! Special S/o to Marsha Sandoval who recommended me! I would suggest this Dental Group to anybody who needs some dental work done!

I entered the office as a new patient. Everyone that I came in contact with greeted me with a friendly professionalism. The Dentist and staff are very knowledgeable and by the time I left I had a manageable plan for my issues, and clean teeth! I highly recommend them!
