Dr. Amie is a board certified pediatric dentist who grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and made her way to New York to study economics/pre-dentistry at NYU where she graduated with honors. She then continued her dental education at Temple University where she had the opportunity to participate in dental mission trips to Honduras and the Dominican Republic to help serve those without access to dental care. She returned to NYC to complete a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, followed by a specialty training program in pediatric dentistry at Maimonides Medical Center where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Amie grew up in a large family and always had an inclination towards working with children. She knew at a young age that she wanted to pursue a career in dentistry as she suffered from dental phobia herself as a child and wanted to help change that for future generations of children making pediatric dentistry a perfect career for her. She truly believes in giving each child a positive experience, and hopes to help alleviate fear in dental phobic patients by making every dental visit friendly and fun.
Outside the office, Dr. Amie loves traveling, volunteering, exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family/friends. She is excited to provide quality care for you and your family with a smile!

Being a mother of three, she is a master at multitasking everyday and is ready for your service -whether it be help with insurance coverage or scheduling questions you may have. Taneesha, one of our highly valued staff, has been with us from the start! She has a diverse background in the dental field. Living most of her life in Florida,she gained most of her dental knowledge and experience there as a dental assistant with expanded functions. With her positive attitude and great work ethic, she is sure to have you all set with any scheduling or any insurance questions you may have!
Christine, our most energetic team member, takes every child's visit as an oppurtunity for fun. When fearful children come in, she accepts the challenge to turn their frowns upside down. Being a kid at heart, she connects with the children while getting the job done. Working in the pediatric dental field since she was 17 years old (alongside her mom, who is also a hygienist)has helped her in perfectingher role as a pediatric registered dental hygienist.
Bonnie's experienced dental skills in the orthodontic assisting field help patients feel assured knowing they are in good hands. Her special touch and delightful voice combined with Dr. Carla's kind tone, promote a comforting visit for her patients. Outside of work she loves to spend time with her family!
Dr. Jennie was born and raised in South Korea before coming to the states with her family in 1998. She is fluent in both English and Korean. She grew up in Wayne, NJ and received her Bachelors of Art in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Rutgers University.
Dr. Jennie received her D.D.S degree from New York University, College of Dentistry. She spent additional 2 years in Rutgers School of Dental Medicine to complete a specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry to pursue her love of helping and working with children. She is a member of NJ Honors Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society where she received a number of awards for her excellence in Academics. She is also an active member of ADA (American Dental Association), AAPD (American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry) and is a diplomat of ABPD (American Board of Pediatric Dentistry).
During all her studies she also enjoyed and excelled in extracurricular activities such as art and music.Besides being a fabulous pediatric dentist she is a huge animal lover, especially her 4 dogs Angel, Mini, Teddy and Buddy. During her free time, she enjoys traveling to different countries, hiking, Pilates and volunteering at her community garden and animal shelter.

My daughter and son have been going to this office since they first visit. Facility is super nice and clean. Front desk people very nice. But for my son that is special needs and has a high level of anxiety did not work very well. Every visit I felt the dr - Jennie lee, taking deep breath as ser trying to convince my son to do the check up. But the last visit she keep on saying that everyone in the office was hearing him scream and that was not very nice- he started to spit during the exam and she said again "oh A that gross you don't spit" and she walked out of the room that moment without saying anything. When she come back she said "I left bc he needs to be calm. I didn't say anything to that point. As we were leaving she said to me "he needs fist of the day apt bc he screams and gets very stress leaving the other kids wondering what's is going on". Like he was causing a lot "chaos" in the office. No problem. I found another dentist, nice and patient with my son and he was able to do exam without crying and screaming which had never happen before at dental family jr. I would not recommend for special needs kids.

Staff is very caring and sweet and definitely have the patience needed for small kids. Doctor was very pleasant and answered all and any of my questions. Everything is explained to the parent as well as to the child. Highly recommend!

Excellent first visit for my 11 month old!! Beautiful office, very clean and the staff is so nice and welcoming. There's no waiting to be seen. We arrived, checked in and were seen a few minutes later. Definitely would recommend!!

We love the dental family jr and the adult practice. They are all kind, run on time and the office is always spotless. And they do excellent dental work as well!

While my daughter completely lost her mind and panicked beyond belief the staff was calm and amazing and were absolutely amazing with her and when I lost my patience towards the end they never did. I'm forever grateful for them. They got us both through this appointment.

This practice came highly recommended & did not disappoint in any way. The office is beautiful, kid friendly & so welcoming. We had zero wait, they called us back right away & we were in & out in less than 30 min. As this was the first dental visit, my child was not thrilled to be there. They made it such a breeze & were able to clean his teeth in about 2 minutes. And everyone was so nice. I'm so glad we chose them!

I have been consulting Dental family junior for my boys for almost 2 years now. My elder one needed attention from orthodontist and Dr Carla has been so great throughout these 2 years giving best of advice and taking methodical steps according to his growing tooth needs. In times of doubt she was absolutely patient and explained again why we are doing what we were doing for my son. She didn't take any unnecessary procedures (like we all doubt from expense point of view). The other pediatric Doctors and assistant doctors are also so friendly and gentle with the kids. They are thorough. The front desk staff is always welcoming and friendly and readily responds to your appointment/rescheduling needs.

Took my son for an evaluation for braces. Excellent and very informative staff. Very clean and well organized office. Would highly recommend for pediatric ortho care.

Great staff and doctor. My son isn't a fan of the dentist and he needs some time to adjust. The doctor was great. Fast and friendly made the experience less stressful for us both.

Everyone was really nice and helped us a lot and then at the end gave my child a sticker and token to get a toy and that helped alot because my child was crying and then she was fine when she got that. I loved it alot and gone go there for my self

I highly recommend The Dental Family & Jr practice, the entire experience put myself and my daughter at ease. The staff is welcoming and friendly and Dr. Jenny Lee is absolutely the best, she walked my daughter through the entire dental procedure.
