I love what I do because dentistry is about building relationships and knowing that we can truly improve our patients' quality of life. The people I serve are part of my community, and I enjoy helping them live healthy, happy lives.

I received my Undergraduate Degree from a small public liberal arts college called the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. While there, I was the director of community service. I was then trained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) Dental School. Prior to taking over this practice, I split my time working in Academic and Clinical dentistry for UMDNJ Dental School.

I was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society for proficiency in Dental Prosthodontics. Ethics and integrity are among my highest priorities. While in dental school, I won the American Dental Association's National Ethics Video Contest. I was also awarded the Academy of General Dentistry Leadership Award as well as the Academy of Operative Dentistry Award. I am a current member of the American Dental Association and I am currently on the track toward achieving my Fellowship and Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry(MAGD).

For my continuing education, I have received extensive training in Implant Dentistry, Endodontics (root canals), and Oral Surgery. Both Dr. Irene and myself continue to take as much continuing education as possible to stay up to date with the latest techniques and technologies.

I love to get to know my patients and build lasting relationships with them. My patients tend to become friends that I look forward to seeing. I find myself wanting to catch up on what has been going on in their lives. The rapport I build with my patients is not about dentistry alone, but also based on personal connections.

I love learning languages. I can speak Spanish fluently and I am currently learning Russian. I also enjoy giving back to the community and provide charity care to several patients each year in the practice.

I am originally from Medford, NJ (just outside of Cherry Hill) and have lived in the Westfield area for the past fewof years. My wife, Dr. Irene, and I met during dental school. I truly enjoy working alongside my life partner each day. We have three beautiful boys name Spencer, Benji, and Noah. They are the light of our lives. We also have three adorable Chihuahuas named Lily, Gabriel and Sophie. My wife and I are both big movie fans and enjoy the outdoors in any way we can.

My patients are constantly an uplifting part of my day. They make my job as a dentist feel less like work, and more like building a community. I love all types of dentistry, but I especially love treating children. They are so honest and funny, and always remind me of what is most important.

I was raised in Louisville, KY, and have lived in the Westfield area for the past couple of years. Dr. Brett and I married after meeting in dental school. We have three wonderful boys named Spencer, Benji, and Noah! We also have three adorable Chihuahuas named Lily, Gabriel and Sophie. Brett and I are both big movie fans and enjoy the outdoors in any way we can. I also love playing with my nieces and nephews, and spending time with family. I come from a family of Russian immigrants and speak the Russian language fluently!

As a lifelong New Jersey resident, I am proud and privileged to continue my career at The Dental Family in Westfield. My philosophy is to provide honest, quality dental treatment in an environment that is welcoming, comfortable and modern.

I knew early on that dentistry was for me I love the health sciences, working with my hands and bringing a smile to someones face. With this in mind, I applied and was accepted into an accelerated dental program (BS/DMD) that would allow me to achieve this dream of becoming a dentist sooner. In three short years, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University. From there, I received my Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree with honors from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, I served as the President of Student Government Association, Student Delegate for the New Jersey Dental Association and was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honors Society. I value the leadership opportunities I have had and strive to remain active throughout my career as a member of the American Dental Asssociation, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

After dental school, I completed my General Practice Residency at the respected Morristown Medical Center. With extensive training in all phases of dentistry (restorative, pediatrics, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, emergency room and operating room dentistry), I join The Dental Family with a strong clinical background and a constant desire to provide my patients with the best possible treatment.

I love giving my patients both healthy and confident smiles. I practice dentistry with a positive attitude, a sense of humor and a genuine desire to know my patients. I am thrilled to continue my career at The Dental Family and look forward to meeting you!

My journey to becoming a dentist at The Dental Family is a very unique and special one - I started as a patient of both Drs. Brett and Irene over ten years ago! I was always treated like family and supported over the years as I was training to be a dentist. This office always gave me a positive, quality dental experience as a patient and I am thrilled to continue that legacy and treat every person that comes through the door as family (Ill just be sitting in a different chair this time!)

I have had a passion for healthcare from a young age and turned my focus toward dentistry while earning my undergraduate degree (BS Biology) at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. I continued my training and earned my doctorate from Temple Universitys Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, PA with honors, and completed my General Practice Residency at Morristown Medical Center, where I honed my skills in all facets of dentistry.

As a Scotch Plains native, union county will always be home, and I am excited to help the people here of this great community achieve their dental goals! My passion is cosmetic and restorative dentistry and I love remaining current with all new techniques and materials. My number one goal for patients is to provide an enjoyable experience and a welcoming environment where all of your concerns are heard and understood.
