The Dental Collective is conveniently located within walking distance of many major RTD Bus and Light Rail lines. We are located on one of the most historic streets in Denver, Colorado. Larimer St and 32nd street both have ample parking day and night. Our location has a Walk Score of 88 and is considered bicyclists paradise with a Bike Score of 95!
Dr. Potter graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2014 and is a proud alumnus of the University of Colorado at Boulder. SkoBuffs! He completed his masters in Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine at the University of Southern California in 2019. Dr. Potter has completed an Associate Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is board eligible with the American Board of Orofacial Pain and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dentistry is truly a passion and craft of Dr. Potter's and he prides himself on his unwavering ethics and holistic approach to interdisciplinary oral health dentistry. Dr. Potter has a desire for helping those in need and being a forever learner. He serves as Community Chair for the New Dentist Committee of the Colorado Dental Association. He also is a member of the Hispanic Dental Association, The American Dental Association, American Dental Implant Association, The American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine, The American Board of Orafacial Pain and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
In his free time, Dr. Potter enjoys spending his free time with his girlfriend Danica. He is also a songwriter, recording artist, and music producer based out of Denver and Boulder with The Rompers Collective.

Hmm. Unfortunately I haven't had the same experience everyone else was getting. Dr. Potter seems nice but I never received a follow-up call or text after I asked about receiving my x-rays from my initial visit. You can't enter the office unless he personally lets you in and that's through a text message. He's the only person working there. Literally. Looks like I'll be looking for another dental office with more than just one staff member who doesn't communicate like a teenager to his clients.

I was not a fan. I just wanted a no-nonsense cleaning / well-visit, and was brought into a room for a 30-min "get to know you" conversation, and then the hygienist dangled his hair in my face throughout my cleaning, after which Dr. Potter and the hygienist discussed my teeth while standing behind me where I couldn't see them. It was very bizarre. Then they tried to book me for some procedure for "PRE-cavity staining" (???) and I've been avoiding their calls ever since. -\_(tsu)_/-

I'm so disappointed to report that other comments about not being able to reach a real person in this office are true. I see great reviews about Dr. Potter himself, but haven't been able to speak with anyone on the phone in 2 weeks of E-Mailing, leaving messages, and texting with the office. The online appointment booking was not allowing me to schedule independently. When I asked for a call by the end of the business day, I was told that I'd have to wait until 6-7pm. Unfortunately, I cannot spend 2 weeks trying to reach someone without follow-up or follow-through every time I need to see the dentist and not be able to reach anyone by phone during normal business hours (which is not 7pm in my opinion). I've also never experienced an office who can text, but can't call after you've asked multiple times, which is unacceptable in my opinion. When I stated that I would need to find another provider, I received texts implying that because my requested appointment was still 2 weeks away, this communication was acceptable from the agent's point of view. Super disappointed in the customer service/front office service that prevented me from ever getting to see Dr. Potter. Wishing this provider the best as he seems lovely. Hopefully he is aware of this issue and can address it in the future.

Impossible to reach and schedule. I was upsold a deep cleaning and part of the package was 2 follow-up cleanings. I have been trying to schedule them for over two months. There is no one to answer the phone. No one responds to texts. The online booking service does not load...I'm guessing they are out of business or don't want to give the additional services that I paid for in advance.

8 Stars actually.. During the absolute chaos of COvert 19 , Dr .Joseph Potter was ready ;ON A SUNDAY AFTERNOON, * TO SAVE MY TEETH ON A LAST MINUTE EMERGENCY RESCHEDULING. IN ALL OF MY YEARS,.. NEVER HAVE I HAD THE GENUINE OPPORTUNITY TO SAY ,"This was my favorite visit to the dentist office ." This truly was a time ,(out of any before )where one of the brightest stars in our beloved city had shined to the max . Thank you so much! Patient FOR LIFE!

Dr. Potter is the best! For starters, he makes you feel super comfortable, starting with the ambience of the office (which is awesome!) to his attentiveness to your needs. Extremely professional and thorough. I started with googling dental offices around Denver, stumbled upon The Dental Collective and thought I'd give them a try. I could not be happier with my experience. For those who get nervous going to the dentist, Dr. Potter will take that fear away with his cool, calm nature. Dr. Joey Potter is a by far my favorite dentist I've ever seen. He is professional and driven on every level. Was comfortable especially after connecting on being musicians and other interests. Listens and works with you while still maintaining a high level of professionalism. Best Dentist I've ever had! Dr. Potter is awesome. He is thoughtful and actually cares. He was also super thorough and double-triple checked his work to make sure my fillings felt comfortable. He heard my concerns, answered all of my questions, and gave me helpful tips about brushing my teeth (honestly, everyone probably brushes their teeth wrong, but I've never had a dentist actually take the time to explain the small details to me. It's such a simple change that will make a long term difference with the health of my teeth and gums). Most dentists don't care about their patients and don't have time to be bothered - you are just another customer to them and likely wont ever see them again after you get your teeth cleaned. Dr. Potter is a genuinely good human and dentist who cares about maintaining good relationships with his clients. The online scheduling service that he uses is super convenient. I found his office website online and was able to schedule a new patient exam for the following morning. All of the new patient forms are online as well - fast and easy. After the initial exam, he was able to schedule me the next day to get 4 cavities filled and a cleaning. To find a new dentist (that actually cares about helping people), schedule online, and have everything I needed taken care of in only 2 days is unheard of. Everyone go here!

When I was looking for a new dentist, I wanted to avoid corporate dentists who quickly push patients through to maximize profits. I wanted an attentive, caring dentist who would put in the time to do a proper job that would fit my particular needs. That is exactly what I found here. Dr. Potter did a great job and was willing to take the time to explain everything he would do and answer all of my questions. I highly recommend the Dental Collective!

Dr. P is a gem and his work speaks for itself. I hadn't been to the dentist in the better part of a decade and needed some WORK. He's treated my teeth and gums with great care and I have a whole new mouth. His office is beautiful and I no longer dread my visits to the dentist. No one else gets to work on my teeth ever again :D
