Since 1988, our family dental care practice has offered high-quality services, including general and cosmetic dentistry, relaxing sedation dentistry, and specialized pediatric treatment for children and kids with special needs. Were open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We also welcome walk-in patients and accommodate dental emergencies in our practice, when possible, or in one of our sister offices. We do everything possible to provide our patients with the prompt, professional dental care they need.

As a new patient, the first visit is to get x-rays of my teeth, and then Dr. Pyo reviewed them to come up with a dental plan. The front desk and Jessica and Dr. Pyo we're all very friendly. I just wish when I booked the appointment someone would have told me I was not getting a cleaning that day, and that I could have also booked a cleaning appointment at the same time I booked my new patient appointment.

My husband went there today as a new patient and had the worst experience!!He was pushed to do extra, unnecessary services such as "laser bacterial reduction" and "full mouth debridement" and he was not informed at all that these costs were not covered by his dental insurance! He had to pay $130 out of pocket for the extra services he had no idea of why he needed them or how much them would cost! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEIR SHADY PRACTICE! WE WONT COME BACK! CUSTOMERS, BE AWARE OF CHARGE TRAPS!!

I've been going to this location for years, since before they moved to the new location maybe 10 years ago. Holly at Reception is newer, I don't remember working with her before my last visit, but she was really helpful with getting my insurance straightened out, even though my appointment fell at an awkward time where I had just begun a new insurance the week before but didn't have the cards yet but insurance wouldn't tell me my card information since it had already been mailed out. Holly's help allowed me to not have to reschedule my appointment. I am extremely fond of the hygienist, Julie, who I have had every time since the office's old office. She's friendly, knowledgeable, and caring and is very good at making things easy to understand in lay terms. She has always gone over any extra charges beforehand and there's always been something to sign before the treatment, so I have never had a surprise charge. I feel more like I get educated on options for my care, not pushed in any direction, even though I've damaged my teeth quite a bit with my pop habit and nighttime grinding. I got to try the laser treatment for the first time at my last visit, and the next day I noticed a reduction in swelling with my gums, particularly in my lower front teeth that struggle with inflammation. She also got me set up with MI Paste Plus, which has been a godsend the past few years with the damage I've done to my teeth with the aforementioned pop addiction and nighttime grinding. It is only about $30 without any insurance, and it's been a game-changer for me and my family, including my mother-in-law who struggles with weak bone density. Dr. Pyo is also newer, maybe within the last 3 years, but he's my favorite. He's nice and incredibly efficient. I was really impressed with his work on both a regular filling and a separate one to fix an old filling I had knocked out while grinding my teeth. I was amazed how quick and easy fillings have been with him compared to other dentists. I felt like they handled things with COVID well, balancing safety and still seeing patients. I always feel my family and I are safe there. Overall, I highly recommend the Granger Dental Center.

This is probably the worst dentist I've been to. Did not treat us right and acted like we were a burden to their job and then had a demeaning tone to me. I will never be here again.

Finding a new dentist is always hard and we all tend to put it off. I have had anxiety going to the dentist for 50 years. Dr Pyo & staff Listened to my "issues" and from day one put me at ease and helped me through. The office is extremely clean & runs ON TIME! They are helpful and ALL very friendly. From the cleaning to filing a cavity, it was a 10 out of 10!! I have truly found my forever dentist

I am not quite sure how to even write the words. I'm absolutely flabbergasted and really appalled. My husband and I picked up Indiana Hoosier Health Wise as a secondary insurance for our children because his EMPLOYER PROVIDED insurance is mediocre at best and Hoosier Health Wise also covers vision and dental. Upon researching local dentists for my children; the top reviews that accepted our children's dental insurance was this Dental Center of Granger and another area dentist. When calling to inquire about setting appointments I was informed that "this location does not accept Medicaid but the South Bend, Mishawaka and Goshen locations do" I didn't even know how to respond. All affiliated practices- all dentists specifically referenced as accepting our insurance- however "Granger does not" ?? When asked why they aren't removed from the list of in network providers, she stated they have tried for years and can't get removed. I immediately called my insurance provider and the agent stated that she was sorry for my experience and to be removed from in network provider status, it takes a fax. A fax. Really humiliated but felt it necessary to illustrate the level of bias that some deal with when they are trying to do the very best they can for their children's healthcare. Also- other medical practices in Granger, affiliated with larger networks that accept Medicaid, don't turn you away- as we are patients of a family physician just a half of a mile away from this establishment and they gladly accept our private and state funded insurances.
